Hey, Posty. Thanks for the update~ I still don't understand your point about your first point. Isn't shiny is supposed to be recolour? Either recolour of official, Reborn/Rejuv - that's the definition of shiny - at least in my understanding. Does this mean that all shinies for Desolation MUST have custom pattern and not just merely a recolour? It'd be great if example is provided.(Actually, it'd be even greater to be able to see what the 'approved' sprites looks like, like back in Rejuvenation sprite project was)

you can do what I did, delete the saves files until you can undo the bad ending. Just goes above in this discussion and you will find how
I battling with Hardy and his mega gallade destroy everything I have. any tips?
Have something with Intimidate. What's your team anyway? In my case, Skuntank manages to take a hit, use Screech then get defeated the following turn. Next, I send out Cacturne, troll the AI with Spiky Shield + Sucker Punch. I know that M-Gallade is such a pain especially in Dark-Monotype.

SpoilerIt's rater complicated. You need to defeat Rosetta (5th gym) then talk to a boy south of Tournament Hall where many people sit down. There, he will give you 'Package Key' after defeating Rosetta. The key is used to open a locked Storage in Cellia South (just try each locked room there as I forget). Inside the storage is key for Abandoned Power Plant in Cellia Central. Use that key to unlock a room in Abandoned Plant and you can level up Charjabug there to evolve it~ It's such a pain that Charjabug has the same evolutionary method as Magneton hence why it comes so late. Perhaps, Vikavolt should be available earlier as NPC trade for future version?
For future reference, you may want to check this thread:
P.S. Sorry for double post, I intend to edit previous post but make a mistake instead.. -
Hey, I posted some shinies~ Hopefully some of them are your liking. I can't wait to actually use Paint Jar for my Monos~
Edit: Submitted more sprites~ Now I'm curious what the approved sprites look like. Just hoping here we can see the results before Ep.6 release ^^;

In order to get the brass key you need to find the 3 diary pages in silver forest. Then bring it back to Shiv's mansion and interact with the Shiv's diary. Then the brass key will appear. Majira's keys are not the colored pieces. Currently you can get 2 of the 5 Majira Keys. The first one is in the abandoned blackview pokemon ranger headquarters.
SpoilerActually there are three Majira keys. You get the third by defeating Aderyn on Ruby Island~

Ok I have a question, how do I have access to the ruby island ?
I already completed all the ranger quest in Addenfall, got the second key, and I already reached the end of Version 5.
Really need to know, cause I want this pidgeottiteI thanks whoever can help me in advance
SpoilerThere is a quest in North Cellia with Clarke in which you need to recruit Teal Panthers member. After finishing the quest, proceed to North Cellia Ranger Base where the people there struggle to find leadership. Talk to Clarke and she will be the new Ranger manager. After that, the Old Ranger base in Cellia Central will be occupied by the new Rangers. The rest is straightforward, I think~

Well I was talking about keys in general, but Majira keys included. I have two of M's keys, is the sidequest over after that or is there more after? Also, where are the color pieces located and what are they for?
SpoilerMajira Keys -> First is in Blackview Old Ranger Base, Second is in Cellia Old Ranger Base, Third is given by Aderyn after you beat her on Ruby Island quest
Color pieces -> I forget each color but there are 4 locations -> 1. Hidden cave behind Keneph Jungle waterfall then interact with iron wall in the cave repeatedly opens a hidden chamber; 2. Redcliff Cave third chamber, unlocked by finishing Bidoff Puzzle; 3. Locked room in Blackview house, requiring Dull and Shiny Key iirc; 4. The Depth, area unlocked by finishing Construction Worker quest after defeating Aaron -

i've ran to the west and the door is locked
The locked house in the west is not for main story but for side-quest. The book on the west can be found on a cliff with Mightyena on it, animated in 'cross' shape

All important boss battles in this episode and a few in the last episode have got EVs (you can check via the PBS) on top of that, I was aiming for Reborn/Rejuvenation Difficulty.I just finished the Episode. Thanks for the good work, Caz, Posty, and Ruby~ If anything, maybe Desolation can have its own Field Effect, such as field filled with Haze to prevent status enhancing moves, or Field that buffs the opponent defensively rather than offensively. Custom item is an option too.
My team is Dark Monotype and I'm expecting Rosetta and Garret to be one hell of a fight but apparently, it's not the case. A-Muk walled Rosetta while Contrary Malamar sweeps Garret. Apart from being locked from Jinx quest (so, no Mega/Z-Ring for me :'), I enjoy the story~
SpoilerSpeaking of story, I wonder what happens if you accept Darkrai's offer?

So ,i just defeat the steel gym leader and garrett said i need to go to the archives in the library again, but a guy is blocking the entrance. Does anyone know where i have to go?
Talk to Garret instead of directly going to Archives

I never completed jinx sidequest in Celeste and now the Cellia Teleporation Department is locked while the Jinx lab is closed. Is it possible to continue the quest? Last time I did the quest, I'm at the point where the scientists need 10 Credits to upgrade the crib.

The book on the west can be found on a cliff where there is Mightyena. The event for the books shaped as animated 'cross' iirc. So, no you don't need access to locked house.

what is the best against Hardy, had some troubles with his tyranitar, also when will mega evolve be a option?
Any fighting type is good for Tyranitar. As for myself, Iron Fist Pangoro defeat it in one hit.

Is Deino being pushed back? I've defeated 5 Elite Trainers and get Focus Sash instead..
Edit: Oops, just realised there is another quest after that. Got another addition for my Mono-Dark team, yay~ -

I know I already did explore the entire forest, maybe they changed something in V5? Here are screenshots of all I have now http://prntscr.com/tkn4pz http://prntscr.com/tkn4uz http://prntscr.com/tkn4zm http://prntscr.com/tkn582 http://prntscr.com/tkn5bu
I get the brass key with the same method in V5 so make sure you don't miss all 3 diary pages

Where do you find Brass keys and Majira's keys? also can anyone help me? I accidentally traded away my XP share
SpoilerIirc, there is a house in Silver Forest with Diary. Explore the forest to get three pieces of diary pages. As for Majira's Key, the first one can be found in old Ranger base in Blackview after reading Majira's diary.

What does it take for Fisherman in Celeste City to give his Fishing Rod?

Hey, great seeing this picking up again~ I wonder just how much further we are into the complete story with Episode 5? I also wonder how you plan the story ahead. Do you plan ahead all scenes up until the end of story before beginning development, or are you doing it in per episode basis?
-
I'm afraid I haven't found one so you have to edit them yourself. Pick one from Reborn or editing Gen 4 tileset to suit your need. There are quite a lot of public tileset on deviantArt to start with~

Hey, just asking. Anyone knows where the BGM track Feeling - Resolute is originally from?
-
If you are someone who is looking for inspiration for fan-game development, yes. Aesthetically it's so pleasing to see.
If you just want to play and enjoy your time, then no. The lack of content and the amount of lag make it not so enjoyable. The original team also somewhat abandon the project and now looking for someone who want to continue the project~
-
Just a suggestion: it'd be a help you can add screenshots to your first post so people can see what to expect before downloading the game right away. Otherwise, good luck for you project ^^

The addition of fakemon is nice~ How many fakemon is planned and how many has finished sprites, I wonder?

Check Verdant Tales: Symphonic Horizon, it's still in development but it has amazing trainer system (6 trainers all playable and each has different special skills--the opponent too~)
-
Well since the title says "Phoenix" I think I'll choose Growlithe and play Fire-mono~ I'm excited for the release too although I can't play them soon after~

Sorry that I cannot help since I already working on a project also. I understand how difficult it is to find spriters so it would help you more in the long run if you learn spriting by yourself. There are tons of tutorial out there--google and deviantart are your best friend. If you insist on finding help, showing your game progress might help. Of course you have to sacrifice "no spoiler-thing" for the sake of getting help since it's hard to get help unless you are being super clear about it.

That made sense for Slurpuff but even for Reborn/Rejuv, most have the sprites to be only recoloured so I'm still confused lol. Thanks for the explanation though~ (Again, I feel showing what completed sprites looks like will give a better context)
