  1. Yeah like everyone is saying you won't be able to beat that Garchomp the regular method even if you got a really good ice type. Pretty much I really love the focus sash + leech seed + sturdy approach since I love seeing that damn purple land shark receive a slow, painful death >:).... that might of gotten a little dark but I really don't like that Garchomp and Garchomp is my favorite dragon type for Pete's sake!

I'm thinking that might have something to do with it too. Uranium and Prism both had trailers for final releases, were talked about by major-ish gaming sites, set in stone release dates, and lots of PR. I don't think Nintendo's lawyers are particularly interested in fans who, say, seek out games (like Relic Castle games for example) but it seems like if it's being announced publicly and might draw in fans who weren't looking for fangames, then they might draw their line.

Not a lawyer, just seems like a pattern.

So I guess the moral of the story is that if your making a fan game, keep it on the down low and don't advertise it with trailers and such

  3. I really want to customize our avatars so they have an interesting look to them. I mean I love all the designs of the MCs but after playing the game several times I really want to give them a new outfit but I understand if that's a difficult thing to do so I can live with out it. Also wonder trade has to be my favorite part of the update since it's a Pokémon Russian roulette imo lol.

  4. Wow this game just sounds amazing and I can't wait and try it out. But I have a question regarding the relationship system. It's just I'm wondering on how it would work and how far certain relationships might go, like if the system only changes the dialogues of other characters or if there might be more of a romantic relationship with some of the characters? I'm just basically how far you plan to go with the system.

But anyways the game sounds like it will be fun and interesting to see how it goes :D

Hey people, here's some art of Vero and Mega Charizard X.

Screwed up the lighting and shading due to there being a freaking Charizard in the scene.

Want to do Decibel and Mega Absol next, still deciding on what Mega to draw for the other protags.

I love this fan art! Mainly because I use Vero as my default MC and I just love Mega Charizard X design in general.

    Sorry not sorry

honestly what I always feel/want to do to fern every time I see that green haired jerk lol

  7. I'd say start over, I usually do a few times (but not this run since I actually want to beat the game at least once lol) and every time I start over I feel excited to see if certain event eggs changes like the mystery egg you get for the growlithe egg. Also it's fun to try out new Pokémon that you haven't use before on your team and see how they handle.

Guess it depends on the people yeah. Canon games seem a bit dull to me now.

I feel the same way about the canon games. I feel after BW1 and BW2, gen 6, which it was mostly Pokémon X and Y felt very dull with both its story and difficulty compared to the gen 5 games to where the final fights against Ghetsis in BW1 and against Iris in BW2 still had a sense of a challenge to them and it had a pretty good story in the game. So when I started playing Pokémon Reborn it felt really refreashing to play a Pokémon game that took a lot of thinking to beat certain fights, and by certain fights I mean all of them lol. But seriously, Ghetsis and his Hydreigon from BW1 can go and jump in a black hole for all I care, that fight took about ten tries to beat on my first run in the game -_-

  9. For me it has to be gen 4 for a couple of reasons. One was the attack and sp. attack, enough said on this reason lol. Second I love all the designs of the gen 4 Pokémon and I think a good portion of my favorite Pokémon are from gen 4; like Froslass, Gallade, Infernape, and Garchomp to name a few. And I love the story in the gen 4 games and especially Platinum where you basically fight and catch the Gods of Pokémon, and Team Galactic had some of pretty interesting members like the admins and Cyrus.

  10. Hello Reborn community, the names Frozenwolf94 and I decided I lurked a little to long in the community since I made an account a year ago so I decided to introduce myself. I've been playing Pokémon Reborn for a year now and still couldn't beat the game to the ending of the current episode cause I raged quit at a few points, like fighting Cory on my first run.... god that fight was real dozy for me lol, but I made a promise to myself to finish this game all the way to the end of episode 16!

Most of my hobbies consist manly playing video games and watching anime. The games I mostly play are RPGs, like skyrim, dark souls series, Pokémon (obviously), and fire emblem fates. I also play online games like Hearthstone on my pc and playing Smite and Paragon on my PS4 but I do tend to get a little bit competitive in some of the games I played lol. As for anime I mostly watch shonen anime series like Dragon Ball Super and Hunter x Hunter, but I feel in love with the show Nanbaka and I swear that show makes me laugh in different places through an episode.

I have been playing Pokémon from gen 1 all the way to gen 7 and I still love the series ever since my mom got me red version for me when I turned 2. From all of the gens, my favorite one has to be 4th gen since I love the story and even though most of the Pokémon are evolved forms from past generations I just love the designs of most of the 4th gen Pokémon. My 5 favorite Pokémon types are ice, fire, steel, fighting and dark and my 5 favorite Pokémon that goes with the types are Froslass for ice, Infernape for fire, Aggron for steel, Gallade for fighting and Absol for dark.

So I hope to continue enjoying being apart of this wonderful community and have fun talking with the other members :)

  11. Well like everyone says, switch Noibat out with something that is a little bit more tanky. in the grass by Cory's gym there are Phanpys, catch one and evolved it into a Donphan and get it to level 30 so it can learn magnitude which will be very helpful against stunktank. And I would go get growlithe as your sixth team member since it will be very useful for Cory's field effect. Get mareep and switch it with zebstrika since ampharos has more bulk than zebstrika. And like Rainlove said, just use Meowstic for most of his team tll stunktank comes out then switch to donphan to handle it and use the emolga's nuzzle to slow down his Crobat so ampharos can get a good hit on it.

As for the Exp Share you don't get it till the 6th gym and the lucky egg between the 8th and 9th gym.

Hope this helps and trust me Cory was a difficult fight for me when I first played this game so just try and think of a plan of action against him and you'll beat him sooner then later :)

  12. In my opinion, Greninja is balanced in that yes protean gives it STAB for it's moves and gives it immunity to other types of moves, Greninja is not a very bulky Pokémon and can't take hits very well. And it's move pool is very limited where it really gets some decent moves, like smack down, water shuriken, night slash, extrasensory and hydro pump but most of those moves, except smack down, are learned from middle to late game after it evolves. Trust me, because of the limited move pool I barely used my froakie/frogadier in most of the gym/boss fights till I reached Shelly in my current run manly because none of the moves my Frogadier had did not help much in the tangrowth fights. So Greninja is a strong Pokémon with protean but if your fighting an opponent that is a little bit more bulky or faster then Greninja and has a strong attack then Greninja will get punished and take a really hard hit and may be knocked out in a flashed.

Ferrothorn is still unobtainable if I remember correctly, and magnezone evolution can't be done till much later, possibly even later than in E15. however magneton is still excellent, especially with sturdy+thunderwave for some bosses.

solosis for reuniclus can't be obtained till magnezone can evolve, which is very late. however gardevoir works as a great psychic/fairy attacker and solid special wall with calm mind. misty terrian is also very helpful sometimes, but maybe a little cheesy i feel? you can get a ralts after you have 5 badges, explore the railnet for a corrupted pokeball if you want it.

Bisharp is very solid if it gets set up, but can be a bit slow and 4x fighting weakness can hurt. as you said, greninja gets dark, and magneton would have steel. mamoswine is really nice and adds two types you don't have, plus priority ice shard can be super handy, but he has enough speed to still go first a decent amount of the time without it. if you can breed one with icicle crash for when you need more power it's quite helpful. (ice fang is ok though) and if already breeding moves onto it, stealth rock is a nice bonus.

Yeah I was thinking about getting ralts since I always get it when I get the chance and evolving it into Gallade in a few of my runs but I think I'll go with Gardevoir this time around since the Toxicroak I got this time has the nature I want on it. Magneton might be my choice for the tank role for the main reason you stated with the sturdy+thunderwave combo, man that combo was a life savior in my past run against El's Ditto lol.

Mamoswine is a great choice and I'm hate myself for not thinking about the lovable fuzzy pig mammoth. I think the reason I didn't think about him was manly having two pokemon weak to both fire and fighting but now that I'm think this over I can always try to get thick fat on mamoswine to help with his fire weakness so mamo is most likely be part of my main team and or part of the back up team in case I need switch my team around. Thanks for the suggestions, they certainly help me planning my teams :)

  14. So I just finished beating Shelly and I feel that my current team needs some tune ups for the later parts of the game so any help will be appreciated

    My Current Team

Greninja,  Meowstic (Female), Toxicroak, Growlithe, Pawniard, and Tynamo

So far I feel right now I don't really have a tank for my team as all my members are on the fragile side and I need someone to switch in to take a hit that I don't want any of my key Pokémon for either a gym battle or a boss battle and I'm on the fence with Pawniard since I already have Greninja but with Greninja's protean ability I might want to have a second dark type for my team but another dark type is not a huge must have. So any help will be appreciated since I'm stuck this time around with what to do with this team
