  1. i'm hoping that we can get HM04 strength

there are a few places i want to check out

I image we will, as after beating the last gym we were given access to use strength, so we can assume we'll be getting it soon. Or maybe that's just Jan giving us the ability forcing us to wait to use it like a troll :P

  2. Well, hello there!

I've been wanting to start a new save file for Rejuvenation, and it's kind of hard considering how well "established" i am in my current save file, but what i really don't want to leave behind are my Link Hearts, i know in some version between 5-6 there was a small shop in Route 3 where you could buy Ability Capsules and Link Hearts at a very high price, i was wondering which one was it so i could buy them if i do start a new save file.

    Thanks in advance!

Note one: You can actually have multiple save files in Pokemon fangames such as Rejuv. I personally have five, one main and four monotypes, all completed except flying monotype b/c I just haven't bothered trying to do West Gearen yet. But all you have to do is:

Go to (Your User) > Saved Games > Pokemon Rejuvenation

And then at the bottom there should be Game.rxdata. Just rename it anything else, like Gam.rxdata or something and you're free to start a new game without deleting your old save file.

If you didn't know that already at least :P

Note 2: The vendor there is still in V7. Where there is that little market area on Route 3, the top left stall with two ladies in it's leftmost lady sells them.

  3. What do i need to do in order to do the Odd house side quest?

I need to do the Generator problems in west gearen, but i haven't done this quest yet

I'd guess you'll need to have finished most of the Dr. Jenkel help requests, but I have no idea. Past that though, what you need to do:

Have beaten eight gym leaders (Which should be the case for you)

Go to the battlefield you fought Narcissa on. There should be a statue to the upper left of her that she was previously guarding, interact with it.

*Probably unnecessary part in this spoiler since the event is pretty linear, and brief mentioning of storyline involving things at the end.*

Follow the Mew around on a wild goose chase in the gym (isn't too hard), and at the end of it you end up in a room with the Odd Key in it. Exit said room and the house it's in, and go up north on Odd Path to the odd house.

In the odd house, you need to interact with all the ritual thingamabobs in the four rooms in the corners. After that you want to go up the elevator and smash the orb that Mew went in.

You will at that point unleash the powerful demon Dufaux, Narcissa will freak out and resign as gym leader until Dufaux gets destroyed again, and that's what you need to do the generator request.

While pretty much everything past the first few lines was useless, I felt that I should add it if anyone ever needed help. Also, as a sidenote, there is the reserve leader Spector that shows up and goes into the gym that you can battle if you do a couple things. *Spoilers from after the generator request ahead*

And when young Narcissa runs off to find Goldenleaf Town, nothing happens between her and Spector but presumably there will be something in V8.

  4. This'd be strange, as Neved actually does care for his daughter, which is why he's in team Xen in the first place so he knows she'll be safe and won't be targeted (iirc, it's been a bit since i played through blacksteeple castle), which is why he projected onto Emma and treated her like a daughter. On the other hand, Indriad himself sees Marianette as nothing but a puppet to him, so it'd be weird for Neved and Indriad to be the same person...

Although I could see why you'd think that if you were to say that Indriad only shows those feelings on the surface and actually does care, but seeing how Vitus responded to the death of his wife, I honestly would doubt it.

I mean it's technically possible (since both the Indriads / Vituses we've seen are from the distant past) that Indriad reformed, but yeah, it probably isn't the case. I just thought it was an interesting point to bring up. I've always been very very curious about Neved's backstory.

  5. That's not Neved. That's Indriad/Vitus's sprite.

Ahh, I remember now. I guess my brain just kinda derp'd.

And to blastcore (Since I messed up and can't quote your thing), that is a good point that I also overlooked. Whaddya know, I overlooked / forgot multiple large relevant things about the scene :P

Though now I do wonder, though this is probably very far fetched, could Neved actually be present day Vitus / Indriad? It makes a little bit of sense. A *little.*

  6. I've already posted this exact same message on this thread, but I'm pretty sure very few people read it so I figured it couldn't hurt to post it here. If that's not allowed than please tell me >.>

So, uh, yeah, I just discovered what might be (arguably) the most important scene in The Grounds of Theolia. Pretty much, after the ??? area if you go up the ladder and then you go up and a bit to the left, you see this tiny little path (I don't know if this was there before the ??? place scene, but I found it just afterwards). The trick with this path though, is that at the top you see Anju (The girl that you saw trapped in Marianette's Mansion) and Neved walk together and form into Angie. So now we know that Neved and Anju's daughter is in fact Angie. I don't even know all the different family tree paths and character motivation random things this opens up or if people have found this before, but I am still preeetty proud of finding it >.>

(I attached a cropped image of the three parts of the scene. They're in the wrong order though, the actual order is first picture, then third, then second.)

Sidenote: Has anyone else seen this before? I feel like someone has to have, but I've mentioned the topic of Neved's daughter here and there and no one mentioned it to me. Also, that is Neved, right? My brain just kinda decided it's Neved for some reason, but I don't remember him looking like that.

  7. when you enter the library in gearen city you can fight ren, even when you have not been in the sewers and beaten gardobor before. anyways ren tells you that you should fight him after "that fight" against the gardobor.. i think there is a mistake in the order ren appears in the library

    I believe it's fixed in 7.1

Also Jan, I found a somewhat major error on Wispy path. If you try to surf right here, post-56599-0-04403700-1459000710_thumb.png

it lets you surf but you don't move position. You can surf on land and move like that until you go on to a body of water (it realizes then and when you go back to land it doesn't let you surf on it). You can also go up stairs and such and move around a ton until you totally change screens. There are also various graphical glitches. But past that, it explains itself.

  8. What everyone else in this thread is very viable, but if you want to keep Crobat and you're willing to do some breeding, it's incredible. Acrobatics and Cross Poison are both good to keep, but it gets multiple other good moves. You can get Confuse Ray as well Hypnosis, though Hypnosis is an egg move. And for better physical moves you can give it X-Scissor (TM in the Sheridan Badlands / Wetlands / Wastelands), Zen Headbutt (Egg move) and Brave bird (egg). Brave Bird is something that is only arguably better than acrobatics though, as while it does let Crobat have an item and has more power, it has recoil, so yeah. But I bred like half a box of Zubats to get one with Adamant (Definitely preferable to Jolly since it already has outstanding speed) and some good IVs and then EV trained it up, and it can absolutely annihilate everything. Tl;dr I have to agree with Zumi about how good Crobat is with some work put in to it.

  9. It's still harder to catch than anything else in the game - there's very little that's more difficult to catch in general really (except arguably pokemon that run away I guess but there are none in reborn).

Beldum has the same catch rate as Arceus and all of the other endgame legendaries just by the way.

    *Hence my other post

  10. uhh not really. beldum catch rate is the same as arceus, and it's shadow pokemon that could hurt himself with low HP. so yeah, every pokemon can be caught with some dedication but maybe in your case, you are lucky to do it in a few tries lol

I mean, if you sleep it and get it to one HP you have a 10% of catching it with great balls. With paralysis it's 6.5%. with paralysis and 100% HP it's 3%, and in that case with sleep it's like 4.2%.

So frankly, with great balls, soft resetting, and 10-20 minutes to spare, it shouldn't be too hard at all. And it was like that for me both times I've caught it.

There's no way it's going to be the hardest Pokemon to catch in the long run (though it probably is now), so I'd probably just save it until further notice OR if you're just getting abysmally unlucky.

  11. It used to be available before Venam, and it had insanely fast Sleep Powder + Leech Seed support. And even though its attack isn't great, Acrobatics is 110 base power and STAB, which is amazing.

I'm sure Azery can tell you more about it, though~

Ah. On my team it would work out as a sleep powder support, so I suppose it would be nice on a team of almost entirely setup sweepers. But I suppose I can see why it is / was so OP :P

  12. I've seen plenty of obsessing over how powerful Jumpluff is on these forums. But I've never found out why. I just got it from Zetta on my flying monotype run, and want to know if it even is viable. It sounds so good, but I'm not quite sure what makes it that way. So can someone explain it to me?

  13. Narcissa's husband's name was Tyron.

Yeah, I realized that on like my third playthrough. I facepalmed hard.

  14. On the subject of Neved's daughter, the Wispy Tower has tombstones for "Nevvy" and "Neveah" which I found interesting because those names are similar to Neved. There's also one for Gregory, which is Geara's real name.

Yeah.. one of them is probably his wife, I dunno about the other though. Or so I'd assume. It also relates him to Goldenleaf town, which is interesting.

I do wonder what connection Gregory has to Narcissa though. For a while I assumed he was Narcissa's husband, but since my last few playthroughs I'm not sure.

  15. Just defended the ship and arrived in Gearan City. Met Melia at Venan's house and they proceeded to dance to loud music. Been on a 2week break and I have forgotten where to go next. Anyone can please help me with this?

Yeah, you want to go to route 3 and find Rorim B. He's near the market area / Pokecenter in a small area only accessible with surf.

  16. This may be a very stupid question and I feel stupid for asking it but I can't seem to find Akora Forest and I have looked for it in game and online and can't seem to find it. Again, sorry if this is a dumb question.

I've actually had the exact same issue before. It's a bit of a pain :P

While Corta Forest may be labeled Akora Forest on the map, Akora Forest is actually waaaaay off the coast of Akuwa Town. It has many many fabled headbuttable tree encounters that are nightmares to get, Oshawott, Mankeys, and more.

So it might be stupid, but if so, I've at least asked it myself multiple times before :P
