As the title states, I want a Shroomish for my grass/flying dualtype thing. I have a bunch of shinies which I will put at the bottom of the post (you can ask about their IVs or whatever, they're all up for trade) and as far as I know the only other exclusive Pokemon I have is a charmander. Willing to try and just generally find a random Pokemon if needed, as I have finished most of the content up through part of E16. Tomorrow and Sunday I'll be around at least from 8 AM to 9 PM (probably longer) CST or CDT, whichever it is right now, if you want to set up a trade online.
And if you're curious how I have all this stuff, I have two save files. One of which I finished episode 15 on and spent a few too many hours making a bunch of really good Pokemon.
Edit: None of the shinies have amazing IVs as they are all wild. A lot of them are just satisfactory. Certainly no 5 IVs or anything like that (I kept that Chansey :P) but realistically they might be pretty good, since I haven't gone over them since I checked which shinies I want to train in the future.

I'd say Tristin's exploud with boomburst is fine.
At level 35-to 40 my whole team could live it, and they weren't resistant or fully evolved for the most part. He only knocked out my krokokok each time.
Well he one shotted my entire team, aside from my Magcargo, barely. At the time I had a Combusken / Blaziken, Krokorok, Swellow, Slowpoke / Slowbro, Vivillion, and a Magcargo, most of them being from 32-35 (they started Silver Rise at 32 and when Tristan finally left they were around 34-36). And none of them had awful natures or IVs for special defense, either.
And @Shpee (I swear I'm so bad at successfully quoting multiple people lmao) That was what I was saying, and since it seemed that the guide was listing every available evolution stone, I was just wondering why shiny stone wasn't in that list.

In the section in the bottom of the obtainable list where it lists available stones, why isn't shiny stone there? It's available as a hidden item in a rock right before the peak of the mountain on route 4, right here.

My Pokemon are usually high level and personally a Ghost would be better because normals cant touch Ghosts.
But to be fair, for balance purposes at that part of the game it's a bit harder than most other parts. You can catch up later as I've found out, but unless you're running a mono ghost team or a team of 100% shuckles, you are underleveled at that point which might be good to fix. Possibly.

By the way- I feel like it might be good to not have Tristan's Exploud have boomburst, as at the point when you team up with him, outlevels you and whenever he uses it, he will probably kill the opposing Pokemon and kill you, removing any EXP you'd get. I've found that it causes a nasty problem with being underleveled at that point in the game, and on top of that there's no Audino trainer to help with that. After I finished Silver Rise I was 8 levels below basically all of Hardy's team which was very annoying.

Hey guys, I think i may be stuck in Aderyn´s Gym, since I have been trying to advance with no success for like 1 hour, I decided to leave my save file here so if somebody knows if I am stuck or not, they can tell me. If not, I hope Caz see this so maybe he can help me.
Yep, you're basically screwed. I had to reset my entire game because Caz is very busy I assume :/

I was wondering- is there a reason that the saves aren't backed up in games like Desolation? Because in games like Rejuvenation or Reborn, you can revert to an older save as all the older saves are kept, but in Desolation they keep no backups (And I've noticed that in a few other fangames too) which makes it very annoying if you save without thinking at a point where you don't want to save.

I would hereby like to nominate Sawsbuck for C+. A Pokemon of average qualities with average utility, and here's why.
- EARLY availability. Right after Gym #1, if memory serves.
- Normal/Grass is an interesting typing, leading to few resistances but many weaknesses. However, Ghost immunity and the resistances of Grass make this deer a good check to weaker Water and Ground types.
- Two very nice abilities. Sap Sipper blanks Grass attacks whilst boosting your already good Attack stat, whilst Chlorophyll turns you into a monster under the Sun. Serene Grace is great and all, but not the right movepool outside of Bounce, which is currently unavailable. Perhaps the addition of Slash And Burn in V8 will help this out.
- Relatively late evolution, given it's only a two stage evolution, so you'll be stuck with Deerling until Level 34. Awkward.
- 80/70/70 bulk isn't great, but it's certainly passable. Enough to take a hit and nuke something back
- Speaking of that Nuke, let's talk 100 base attack with 95 base speed. Not too shabby!
- Movepool is interesting. Megahorn through Heart Scale if you care, Jump Kick, Double Edge, Horn Leech, Leech Seed, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Agility(breed), Baton Pass(Breed), and Nature Power. Those are some of the more notable ones, but the power IS there.
- With that said, it takes a while to get Double Edge. Level 52. Yikes! Your best Normal STAB for most of the game will be Facade, but once you get Double-Edge, Sawsbuck turns into an absolute powerhouse.
- All in all, a solid overall choice. There are better Pokemon, and there are worse Pokemon. Don't be afraid to give it a shot, you'd be surprised how strong it can be.
- It really needs some of the stronger TMs like Swords Dance and Thunder Wave to truly shine(Yes it gets TWave. Why? Who knows)
I'm just pointing out that it might be a good idea to use the + for pros and - for cons instead of always using -s to make your rankings more clear, but I'm just putting it out there
Also, @Pyrrhon (Idk how to quote multiple people in one post, so I have to do that) I'd like to point out that we don't really know if Bouffalant is viable after the grass leader, as the episode basically ends right after you beat the grass leader. Just saying.
And I'd also just like to say that (I'm just saying a lot of minor things to make the rankings a bit better lol):
TM Return is now available on that little grass path from the West Gearen news station to the place where you can steal the fossil in the museum

So wait, apparently there was a big choice this episode, but I didn't really see any choice that was that big? Was it turning in Flora or not turning in Flora? IDK it just felt like not that big of a choice to me. You meet this random girl that's the grass gym leader, she turns out to be part of some supposed evil team and acts sneaky about it, and then you choose to turn her in or not? I dunno, it just didn't feel like what it was hyped up to be
Edit: Oh, well apparently it will have massive story differences for a while. Go figure, it just felt a lot more minor.

Are the EV training items going to be released soon?
I'd assume they will be in some sort of apartment store in Grand Dream, similar to Reborn. So I'd assume this version, or more likely (since the speculation that we don't get to Grand Dream yet), V9.

That maybe your problem... you activated them all. You justneed to activate just one at a time.
Well what I was saying was that I need someone to get me unstuck, because I'm absolutely screwed. Mkay?
So does anyone actually have the PBS files to get me unstuck? Since the save backups aren't saved in the save data folder like they are in Reborn or Rejuvenation there is no possible way to get myself unstuck without someone modifying my position or restarting the entire game over.

Title is fairly self explanatory, though the context isn't there. Basically I put a post up asking about how to edit the save files so I could do trading stuff and get myself unstuck because I'm good at screwing myself over like that. But when I got the answer, I needed to know how to access the PBS files I believe, so I asked, and my topic randomly disappeared like an hour later?
Tl.dr I'm curious who has the authority to delete posts on this forum or if whoever deleted my topic for the reason that I can't think of is reading this who you are and why you deleted it?

Nope. I was sitting there for approximately 15 minutes and I activated each of them and combined them in hope that it would get me out. I'm absolutely stuck. I don't know what the fuck I did to get myself in a pickle like that but I did xD

Will do, thanks! And yeah, I know that :P. I didn't know if dualtype is the right word for it, but basically I'm doing a run where I can use any Pokemon that are either flying or grass. But yeah, whenever you're available I picked out the best one I have.
