This is just a prediction based on whats currently happening, ive talked to a few people and they seem to agree with me, so ill share this with you hoping that it helps you out.
But still, this is just a prediction, so take it with a grain of salt.
Anyway, you all know whats going on with the UK and the British Pound right?
The british pound is going down in value, but this wont last at all and the british pound will go back up again in value eventually.
The way to make money is simple, put money into your PayPal account, it can be any amount in your natural currency, whether its dollars or euro, then convert that money to British Pounds, then when the BP goes back up in value, you should convert your money back to the currency that you use, and tada, you made money!
And if the BP value doesnt go up in a few months then you wouldnt have lost anything.
The key to this is waiting until the value of the Pound drops to its lowest and converting your money back when the value is high again.
Lemme know if im being stupid here and ill just delete this thread, i just wanted to share my thoughts with everyone.

I just added a random person who completed the game on steam and he said that i just played the first chapter out of a total of 4, i feel like a moron, i even did research and had no idea that the game had 4 chapters and the walkthrough i consulted mentioned nothing.
I mean, using a walkthrough to decide an ending for yourself kinda defeats the purpose of playing. The best way to play any game where your character choices determine the ending is to play through it once, get whatever ending you actually earned and THEN, if you're dedicated, go for the other endings.
I used to do that, but i ran into too many gruesome bad endings and i kinda grew afraid of them and since then i consult walkthroughs.

So after playing through this visual novel all i have to say is FUCK this game.
I did some research on it and it is supposed to be a good visual novel with high ratings.
But the GOOD ending was the most unsatisfying, frustrating expirience ive ever had with this genre.
All the characters are hollow, we learn nothing about their backstory, the ending is terrible with no conclusion to anything what-so-ever, we are left with more questions than answers.
Maybe i played the game wrong but this is the impression i got from it after i played what was supposed to be the good ending after consulting a walkthrough, i consulted it because this game has like 17 bad endings and i didnt want to run into any of them.
Please do say if i played the game wrong.
If anyone of you have ever played this game, please say that im wrong and say why, i am just beyond frustrated at the moment and its eating away at me, i want to release the frustration.
So, if anyone has played this game and believes otherwise please do say that im wrong and explain why so that i can be released from this frustration, thanks!

Its very good so far, but i feel like we have been stuck in that mansion for too long now, i hope the next episode resolves the Mansion arc.
Without spoiling anything lets just say that im happy with the way the show handles everything so far.

Im calling it now, on one of the last episodes, he will die and everything will reset, causing massive frustration to me.
I can just tell, i have no idea if it will actually happen though, no spoilers.

Guys, you don't have to make a thread for every anime...this series is airing this season so we have a megathread for discussion of series airing this season. Please don't create an excess of threads because the more you create, the more likely it'll be to be buried...
I dont want this to go back to how it was where it was only one big thread, i had to ask to have it removed because it was harming this sub-forum, i want people to talk as much as possible about the popular/hyped up series they like in their own individual threads, it helps keep this forum healthy and more active.
From what I read in other comment sections, the MC is going to be mind broken, because he is going to die in every horrible way you could imagine over and over again. The author apperently is a sadist and the show supposedly follows the LN closely. That´s only hearsay though and we only got a few episodes so far, so who knows maybe the anime goes into a other direction.^^
Ohh dear, there go my hopes for relationship development lol, so this show is just gonna be a gore fest with the main cast dying over and over?

Description: Suddenly, high school student Subaru Natsuki has been summoned to another world on the way back from the convenience store. But when he is saved by a mysterious, silver-haired girl with a fairy cat, Subaru cooperates with her to return the favor. When they finally manage to get a clue, Subaru and the girl are attacked and killed by someone. Subaru then awakens in the place he was summoned and notices he gained the ability "Returns by Death" and has become a helpless boy that only has the ability to rewind time by dying. Beyond the despair, can he save the girl from the fate of death?
My thoughts: So far its very good, however i have some concerns regarding character development, cause if the Main Character dies too often and the world keeps resetting then none of the characters shown will get to develop and basically all relationships are temporary, which is my main concern.
But other than that it looks very promising and nice, heres hoping it continues being good, i hope the characters and their relationships develop.

Fair enough. My impressions so far:
1) The protagonist has a name and a defined personality, with both positives and negatives to him. This is a serious set up compared to many other games in the genre, so yeah, hooray for that.
2) The titular character is kinda boring. Her relationship with Subaru is built on tropes I have seen a trillion times, and she is a complete doormat in her interactions with anyone else. The only interesting twists to her personality come from that part of the game we agreed not to explicitly discuss (but again, that is a big, BIG part of the game), so yeah...
3) Narika is easily the most interesting character, as she plays the tsundere persona in a very unique way. She is not stereotypical, there are things to her that are worth remembering, which is frankly more than I can say about Haruka. She's also stronger in battle, because she has far better speed (if you choose your abilities right, she basically dodges everything, triviliazing virtually any boss fight), can make up for her mediocre attack by using that special of hers that permanently boosts her damage output, and while she does have low barrier, that doesn't make any difference because you can just train.
4) Subaru is a character I am not sold on. She surely is unique and memorable, it's her dynamics with the rest of the cast I am not sold on. As mentioned, her relationship with Haruka is something I have seen a trillion times, and while it is nice to have a mature love option, she is mature only in a "battle hardened" way, we never see her show her maturity in fields other than battle-related matters
and sex. Also her missing arm turns me off.5) The baddies are possibly the best thing about this game. Every single villain is unique and memorable, from the mooks who always scream "nunja" to the quirky mini bosses to the big bad bosses. Orochimaru's humanization felt kinda rushed at times, but hey, given the genre, it was interesting to see a male, and not a female, get the inevitable heel-face turn.
Still haven't cleared it, so I can't say which ending is the best. But well, considering that Narika is the most interesting character AND the best one in battle, I see no reason for choosing any route other than hers. I am not interested in the "dark side" routes either, because tentacles are not my cup of tea, if you know what I mean.
Haha yeah the bad guys are very interesting and unique.
Theres also brutal endings to each route, are those the "dark endings" you mentioned? You get them by getting enough brutality points(99 i think) with the girl you want before the final boss and u also have to do the punishment scenes with them, might be interesting to explore.

I finally got around to start this, but... How can I put it... Remember when you said that you wanted to discuss eroges like you'd discuss normal games, without bringing up the h-scenes? Well, I am not sure this is the most indicated title to do that...
While i admit that this game isnt really the best for what i intended to do, it was still a decent start to people opening discussions about these games and how to do it/what to be careful of.
My intention was half that and the other half to discuss this game.
Such as optimal strategies, or what route is good and what is bad, what route is unlocked early or late and how, comments about the characters or story, etc...
Lots of things to discuss.

Haven't tried this particular one. You say that we shouldn't talk about the sexual contents, but the fact is that those play a major part, when it comes to deciding whether or not I should play a game.
See, the fact is that, for some reason, loli scenes are big in Japan. As a result, every eroge out there is guaranteed to have at least one loli scene. But the fact is that loli scenes greatly offend me, so I always make a point to gather info about those: if I learn that, in a particular game, there aren't ways to skip, miss, or otherwise avoid loli scenes (meaning, the game forces you to see at least one), then I just don't play the game. I have actually passed on universally acclaimed titles for this very reason, that is just how much loli scenes offend me.
So yeah, I apologize but, for a matter of personal policy, "are there unavoidable loli scenes?" is something I must ask, even before asking "what is the plot about?". Because if there are, there is no way I am getting this.
With this being said, let me comment the few lines you posted about the plot: sounds like your bread and butter uppity and adventurous, if a bit cliché, story. I take it there is an actual gameplay? As in, it isn't JUST a visual novel?
Yes theres gameplay in it, hence the RPG tag and dont worry, AFAIK theres no such scenes in this game, at least as far as ive played i didnt witness such things.

My thoughts: An important title for both MangaGamer and fans of visual novels because AliceSoft, which is a big developer in Japan, is testing out the western market by making a partnership with MangaGamer, if this game does well, other AliceSoft games will be translated as well, i personally think they chose the wrong game to test out the western market with personally, the Rance games are a lot more popular over here with several being translated to English by fans despite them being big games, they would have had much more success with a recent Rance game than with Beat Blades Haruka, but the game itself is still solid with quite a lot of CGs to collect and a basic, but interesting storyline, worth picking up from MangaGamer just for the sake of showing that theres a market for these games here so that we can see more AliceSoft games brought to the west.
This thread is meant as discussion for the game, but we arent allowed to mention anything regarding Sexual Content, so please keep that in mind in this thread so that i dont get castrated by moderators, i want to be able to discuss these games with you guys.

I decided to keep the members of the team that did most of the work on my old team(That is Darmanitan, Vileplume and Charizard-Y) and toss out the rest for the sand-focused side that Viridescent proposed with T-Tar, Excadrill and ferrothorn.

I like the idea of a mixed sand and sun team, seems unique and i like it.

I personally like Vileplume better as a pokemon, though i understand why Venusaur would be preferred.

I thought moonlight sucked in the Sun, but yeah i use Moonblast to K.O dark types, like Hoopa and Weavile which seem to be pretty common.
I will replace Tangrowth with Rhyperior, it seems like a great idea.
Though Ninetails? I am not 100% sure, it sets up the sun for me which is very important, with heat rock it lasts 8 turns which is very good, i feel like 5 turns is too short sometimes and with Charizard being my lead(which means it will die early on in the game), it feels like eeehhh.

Ive been fiddling with this team for quite some time now, its the team im the most successful with which is weird, i thought id try something unique(hopefully) and it ended up working, ive been fiddling with the movesets to adapt to whatever is most commonly seen in the OU Metagame.

In order to reduce eye strain/damage and to get something worthy of my new graphics card, i decided to get a new monitor.
The budget is 300 pounds, my site preference is Amazon UK or another website that ships to the UK with little to no cost.
Idc about resolution, but 1080p minimum, i also dont want the screen to be too big, 24 inches maximum.
MY current monitor is a very old lcd-led, 19 inches and 1366x768 resolution.

Paypal doesnt charge anything, i tried it myself with a couple of euros i had left in my PayPal account and they didnt charge me anything.
