  1. that is actually very helpful, makes it a bit easier to understand.
  2. Types aren't an issue, the stats thing I'll just have to look up, no way I could remember how much a given move can do to a specific pokemon if it had proper stat distributions.
  3. I'll definitely look for those pokemon. Though, I do need to ask. How does one get better at pokemon anyway?
  4. I just started a new game, so currently I have: Torchic Lv 12 Speed Boost Jolly nature Espurr (Male) Lv 10 Own Tempo Naughty nature (I can't wait to get to the point where I can change this) Zigzagoon Lv 10 Pickup Lax nature Budew Lv 5 Leaf Guard Quirky nature Magikarp (got via wonder trade) Lv 9 Swift Swim Sassy nature Kricketot Lv 9 Run Away Docile nature as I said, I just started a new game, don't have many options. Main thing is, I just don't know how to get better at the game, the main line games being so easy, and all that, and me never really being big into the competitive side of pokemon, I couldn't tell you the first thing about pokemon strategy, which is where I am lacking. As for how far i am, I still haven't gotten past the first gym.
  5. So, I've been very off and on with Pokemon Reborn, I really love this game but i am terrible at it. I want to get better at Pokemon but I really do not know how. I learned the hard way that I can't brute force my way through this entire game and I tried, and got somewhat far but hit a wall that was my own inability to understand how pokemon works. I'm absolutely terrible at team building and knowing which pokemon work together and why, even when I go ask for team advice, it hardly works out, because I just can't answer the questions of "What is your strategy" or "What are you trying to achieve with this team?" and so, here I am, seeking knowledge, any help would be appreciated, i really want to finish this game.
  6. I know I just adopted that Eevee but I want to adopt that Litten, too. Shiny Litten looks awesome.
  7. I would love to adopt that Eevee
  8. So, I just got the egg from the slum, it looks to be a Bronzor, i think I just got really lucky with that. Looks like things might be shaping up, if i can make good use of Bronzor. My team, right now, is: Combusken Quirky Nature Speed Boost Mightyena Rash Nature Intimidate Swoobat Docile Nature Simple Kricketune Rash Nature Techncian Meowth Naughty Nature Pick Up Egg (Bronzor)
  9. I'm not sure of the exact strategy I want but I tend to favor both offensive and defensive styles of play. I've seen people lead off with pokemon that set hazards and stuff and reborn added those interesting fields that add new strategies. As for preferred pokemon I'm willing to try anything since a lot of the gym leaders seem to require some flexibility when taking them on.
  10. well, starting over, I picked up Torchic, since it's my favorite. Looked up cutiefly, looks like I can't get it till a bit later. Also, when you say Nidoqueen is an event mon, are you referring to Corey's Nidorina?
  11. I'm about to start over on Pokemon Reborn and, admittedly, I am horrible at team building. I favor offense but when I tried it before, it didn't work and it was likely due to my team in that game, which was Blaziken, Magnezone, Nidoking, Ludicolo, Gardevoir and Mamoswine, I didn't have a real strategy, it was just to hit things hard. I'm wanting to try not just do that but I have no idea where to start. I'm unsure if going pure offense will really be enough. I've had some suggestions about using Ribombee or Swoobat as sweepers, not sure how well that would work in Reborn, though, since team formation has to change a bit when fighting certain gym leaders.
  12. I'm going with Litten, been too long since I used a Fire Starter in the main games.
  13. I've gotten Elekid twice, never was a fan of Electabuzz, so while I was lucky... meh.... never used it.
  14. Ah, cool. Also, sorry for posting this in the wrong location, could've sworn I posted this in the team showcase.
  15. Okay, so at least Dusclops can get it. Is it possible to evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir yet?
  16. Hmm, well, darn. I liked having Ice Punch.
  17. What about Ice Punch, Surf, Rock Slide, Earthquake?
  18. So, would a relaxed nature Swampert with Roar, Surf, Stealth Rock and Earthquake be good? Dusclops looks pretty tanky (never used one before, rarely do I use ghost types) and Ninetales is one of my absolute all time favorite fire types (seems like it takes a long time to be able to get it), Magnezone has been useful in my previous run. Would Staravia make a good addition? It's been one of my favorite flying types since I first used it.
  19. So, I'm about to restart a game where I picked Mudkip as my starter. Looking for some advice on using Mudkip, I've never really put much thought into it before, with how easy the main series of games can be and would just power through the game. How do you use Mudkip and later Swampert? I've heard people going for a bulky version that focused on attrition and such. Looking for advice for pokemon that team well with it. Thanks in advance.
  20. Prankster Murkrow + Parish Song, wait 3 turns, win. Did the same to Arceus.
  21. Oh, that's simple, thanks.
  22. There is? Awesome, hopefully someone who knows will see this and tell me how XD
  23. Hi, I'm doing a mono ice run. Looking for a good starter ice type starter, dunno if Bergmite would be an issue for balance or not and a female snorunt not worried about natures and ivs (just nothing terrible >.>) and a dawn stone to eventually evolve the snorunt into froslass. I'm not picky on moves, as long as I have a way to make mono ice viable early on. Also, some advice on mono ice teams would be nice, I haven't used many ice types (mainly just Glaceon, Froslass, and Mamoswine, my favorite ice types XD) Thanks in advance. Game.rxdata

    question

Is it possible to edit the character name to add an umlaut? I'm doing a theme run and the character's name is Lëd but when I try to input the alt code for the e with an umlaut over it, I am unable to do so. I know this is a minor thing and it wont bug me that much, I'm just curious if there is a way to do this.
