  1. I fought him out of pragmatism and a return of all the favors he's been doing me though that Chatot is a horrible demon, as he does give great experience in an area of the game where that's in short supply and I'd rather not lose out on my inside man.

But looking at how things are going and how cold Solaris is towards everyone, I don't think he's going to hesitate to take down his own son, possibly via death by example via Chandelure, similar to Eclipse went down (or was it Aster?).

  2. What Im doing right now are the following. Playing other pokemon games(Rejuvenation/Insurgence),MONOTYPES/SECOND RUNS, and adding new pokemon to my rotation in my main game and breeding new moves to pokemon already in my rotation. Or you can do the boring option and read books...

Books are the boring option? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!?!?

I don't really have the patience right now to go through breeding, but I'll probably pick up some new 'mons and get some training in now that I'm back in Reborn City, the land of endless experience that doesn't take forever repeatable trainer battles. Still want to get that dark type run started sooner rather than later, though. Now that I think about it though, Flobot's gonna be kinda hard...

  3. Mono dark because the beginning has changed so much

I have already gone through the beginning a couple times (trying out an Iron Fist Chimchar and this run started in Ep15), and found that I probably need to reinstall Ep15 to patch it, as I'm missing the Gulpin and Tynamo events, which were two that I really wanted to get for playing around in the beginning with. I'm also probably going to go after Absol, as that's one of my favorite mons (Lapras and Sneasel will probably also get caught because I like them too).

  4. Just finished episode 15, after the long grind of the water treatment plant (Walrein MVP freezing that poison water against the Swalot), going through the horribly long grind of that triple doubles battle with Flobot (who was wonderfully unhelpful right up until she solo'd the Garchomp), and taking down Ciel Seel, who surprised me with an extremely fast and hard hitting team complete with a Mega Altaria.

As it was my first time going through the game completely, I also got to experience Terra's AMAZING glitch world, complete with classic Mewtwo battle and admittedly anticlimactic gym battle (though I blame that one mostly on Contrary Serperior). So... any advice on what to do now that that everything's said and done? Go out and catch the elusive Sneasel/Lapras? Head back to the circus and play around there? Go catch Absol now that I can buy an Ill-Fated Doll again?

Or maybe start on that mono dark run I've been planning?

  5. Having trouble against Ciel, my current team consists of

    Emolga (68)

    Walrein (68)

    Serperior (74)

    Rhyperior (64)

    Arcanine (67)

and Scolipede (54) (this one's here in an attempt to counter her Mega Altaria via toxic stall, needs two protects to outspeed for a Toxic at the moment)

I also have a Gardevoir (69), Mawile (64), Pangoro (62), Golurk (61), and Dragalgae (56) in my box.

Movesets are available on request (too lazy to put them here right now), I'm mostly here to check if my team composition is alright and whether I need to train up (and wondering where any good spots to train are since at the moment I feel like there's a severe lack). Any advice?

My biggest issues with her team so far have been the Gliscor and the Altaria, as those two pretty much require me to pull out specialized counters to deal.

Edit: Nevermind, she derped and I got to Toxic/Blizzard her down. GG Ciel.

  6. Dang, was hoping that wasn't the case, I knew where to get more, but was hoping there was a similar spot in the circus. Ah well, thank you very much.

    Back to grinding for Charlotte...

  7. I just got to the point where I'm facing Charlotte, and having recognized a particular spot, figured I'd catch a particular pokemon that requires the Ill-fated doll. One problem, the Doll isn't in my inventory anymore. After a little panicked looking around and thinking, I assumed that the doll was consumed when I caught my Golette, a ways back.

Does that event consume the Ill-Fated Doll? Either way, is it possible to get the Doll before finishing the Circus?

  8. where can i find a link stone. I bought the one for 10.000 and i found one in the cave by the cemetary

now i'm in route one. Can i found another one?

There's another hidden one just outside the underground rail in the area of Obsidia that you access just after getting Strength, where you go to rescue your friends. Check all the rocks.

  9. Welcome! Glad to see you're getting great use out of your Meowth, my Mlemcat was incredibly helpful for my first run.

I also would have recommended that you level your Goldeen once so that you could get Water Pulse...

But then you beat me to it...

    Dangit.

In all seriousness, a flying type will help for the next gym you're going to reach. A fighting type wouldn't hurt either.

  10. Thanks, and in order, I am particularly fond of Arcanine and Swampert, I prefer the Fire types due to an attack all out way of thinking, my favourite anime, I loved the Yu-Gi-Oh! series when I was a kid, and now I'm looking at Arc V, but I've also read manga like Eyeshield 21, Pokemon Special/Adventures and Kenichi, and anything that catches my eye at the time, and on my favorite topics, I like to read fan theories and speculation, you gotta give them credit for all the thought they give to things.

Awesome, Arcanine's been one of my biggest MVPs in my latest run, so I can't really argue with you there. Likewise, Swampert was my starter for Sapphire way back in the day. I'm actually not too familiar with many of the series that you enjoy (haven't fully watched/read any of them), but if you really like fans arguing over what a particular show means (or theories and speculation ;) ), you might enjoy Haibane Renmei and Serial Experiments Lain for some older options or Pandora Hearts (the manga, not the anime), Bakemonogatari, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya for some more recent material.

Or you could stick around and play some more Reborn with us...

  11. Any particular reason why? What you're looking for? Just starting a new run? Looking for a challenge? Just bored?

I'm personally a fan of having a more of a reason behind doing something than having a public vote. If you want to end up with a Froakie/Torchic, that's fine, but I'm not sure that's what you're really trying to do, especially considering you've probably already done a Torchic run (going from your avatar).

  12. Litleo can be found in the spot where Zigzagoon used to be, in the Obsidia ward alleyway that can either be accessed via cut or accessed via walking in once the pulse Tangrowth is defeated. Once you find him in there, I think (and this is something I have not personally checked) you can find him once he runs away in the building north of the one across the street from the pokemon center in Obsidia (where Vulpix used to run to). If that's not true, please let me know, as I cannot personally check right due to currently enjoying the hospitality of the circus.

  13. As a Mac user, one of the basic things I'd love is an in-game volume slider. Because at the moment, my only chance to listen to the music of Reborn is to turn my volume down literally as low as it will go and bear the a-little-loud-for-comfort music while adjusting everything else. I normally play with the music off in order to hear things going on around me, which is a real shame considering how much I like what I've heard of it.

So while I know this isn't a problem for many players, could we get an in-game volume adjust option?

  14. I'm not sure. It seems to be a moved event, so it's probably SOMEWHERE, but I haven't run into anyone yet who's actually found it. That to me suggests a change in conditions/location/both, but someone should turn up eventually who's found one.

EDIT: FOUND IT! It was inside the Aqua hideout on a windy day at night, just like it seems to have been in earlier episodes. I found it after chasing out team Magma (and beating the Psychic type gym), so I'm not sure exactly how things might have changed, if they even have. Apologies to everyone for the trouble and thanks for the help/support. *Goes to catch one that knows Brave Bird*

  15. Could someone please tell me where the second bookshelf is? It's the only thing I'm missing and I can't find it anywhere.

The second bookshelf is in Serra's house, try going upstairs and walking down along the bottom wall. You should enter a new room with a whole lot of crap in it and a bookshelf that looks quite out of place.

  16. I'm short just the cabinet, anyone know where that might be?

And while I don't know if you can start the quest after beating the pulse abra (haven't gotten there yet), I'd suspect you can, starting the quest by entering the second house you see on the left when entering the town and talking to the girl there.

    Edit: Found the cabinet.

It's in the room you can get to from the museum roof, walk down into the space between the two pots into the building below you.
