totaly forgot to comment on this but, electric terrains buff to surf is that it makes surf into an electric type attack and makes the strength 1.5, so if you run a mono electric team with some of your pokemon have lightningrod or volt absorb (if it turns out to be a doubles gym) she should be a cake walk. but me just thinking about that i wouldn't be surpirsed if Amaria does run both lanturn and quagsire on her team to ruin that idea
Actually Electric Terrain just adds some Electric type damage to Surf, it shouldn't completely turn it to Electric. I'm not sure what this will do against Lightning Rod / Volt Absorb but my guess would be that it only negates the minor Electric part of the damage and the boosted Water damage still applies.

3 words : Magnezone's Electric Terrain. Also works with Roserade's Grassy Terrain
Electric Terrain boosts Surf quite seriously so good luck with that.
Grassy Terrain is good though.

Coral Ward.
Uups thanks.

I'm guessing Amaria will start on Water Suface but some of her pokemon will probably know Dive s she will probably often change the field to Underwater and back while you'll try to change it to Icy Field ir Murkwater Surface. Field-wise it should be pretty interesting battle - most fields don't have so many options to alter them.

The new city stuff is all on a new map. Only way I can change large scale visuals, really (similar stuff is done for the area where you meet Biggie McSteelix, tania rips her living room a new one, etc). The teleportywhatnots are because it's a -lot- of maps though. As many as the original city. Can't all be one map because I'd run out of auto-tiles + dear lord imagine the lag.
Finished mapping. Next up is the puzzle. Of course there's going to be a puzzle. But it's something that's been in main series, so it's not too involved.
Anyway, I guess I'll share a screen, but I might be mean about it. You can figure it out from here. ^ ^
You sneaky little bastard! I totally missed that one. Nice image though. I'm guessing it's the bottom of the large formerly contaminated lake? Or maybe the Tanzan Cove?

From my experience Noibat and Trubbish. Both are a real pain to level up but they helped me quite a bit after they evolved. Possibly Vanillite, Klink, Helioptile and Skrelp but I didn't try them.
Gardevoir and Gallade is available too soon in my opinion.

As mentioned by others level cap above 100 didn't feel right in Zeta / Omicron because nothing changed except for stats. And I'm not a fan of moves the pokemon couldn't learn otherwise. With that in mind I'd like to try the post game with lvl 100 cap and all trainers with full lvl 100 teams so that each battle could be threatening. I can't be sure how that would turn out in the real game but I'd like to see it.

You need to go back to the Reborn city through the Underground Railnet - you'll need your Strength and maybe even Rock Smash HM slave for that.
Then go to the Obsidia Ward (east side of the sity). The Wasteland gate is in South Obsidia near entrance to Coral Ward.

Uh... Please no. Anything but this.
I think the reputation system was implemented so that the story isn't exactly the same in each playthrough. But that's about it. I doubt it will be used for anything romance-like. Or... I sure hope it won't. Even the best stories can be easily destroyed by bad romance.

In what part of the game are you?
After you get to the point where you get ditto, (and you soft-reset it until it has at least 27 in every stat) and you get access to destiny knot and the Power items at the dept. store, you can pretty much get full 27+ IV pokemon with maybe even less than 50 eggs.
I didn't soft-reset for good Ditto and also it took longer because I needed some egg moves and good natures too - each eeveelution needs different nature so it took a while. Also breeding females was to get multiple egg moves was a pain - only 12.5% of Eevees are females. I do use Destiny Knot and Power items.
-
I never really tried IV breeding even in Reborn until my current playthrough where i'm constrained to only use 9 pokemon species (eeveelutions). After about 200 eggs my latest Eevees have 2 perfect IVs and most of the others IVs at 25+. Especially my Espeon (Despair) is really scary - it's fully EV trained too!

Is there a place to grow berries after going to Agate?
If there isn't (and I don't remember any such place from my previous runs) please consider it as a feature request.
-
@Kurotsune: Thanks for the answer. You forgot my last question though - where is/was Cal's Gym?
(I kind of presumed the rest so this was the important one.)
-
As the others above I also think the Play Rough animmation is too long. A half or 2/3 of the current length should be enough imo. Otherwise great job Mde!

Now I'm really looking forward to E16! I do have some more minor bugs written down but I'd like to check if they are still present in E16 before reporting them.
I'm very grateful to everyone who worked on fixing the bugs. Especially you Marcello!

What type did Charlotte's mum use? If she used fire as well she was the Gym Leader even before Cal right? Where is/was Cal's Gym?
-
Rematches against all gym leaders at lvl 100 - yes please! But giving them a 7th pokemon doesn't seem right. I believe they can be challenging enough even without such measures.
-
Pretty sure Ame said that Gen 7 might get implemented with or after E19 (the final chapter).
Although we might see some new megas early if needed for gym leaders - like if there is a Mega Dragonite in Gen 7, Saphira will probably use it even if the rest of Gen 7 won't be implemented at the time.
-
You need to water the plant. The key item for that should available in lapis flowershop.

@Commander
Speaking of unfair advantages, i never understood why the "shift" battle mode even exists. Balancing teams would be easier if that feature was turned off completely.
Every gym leader who has double battle, is harder than those who have single battles. Half of the reason is the absense of the "Shift" mode. (Other half is because of AOE field boosted attacks ).
I think if every gym battle (or any battle in general) was double battle would promote strategic play throughout the whole game.
And yeah... everything is threatening if you play to its strengths. Noctowl was invaluable at Rejuvenation insane mode, purely because it was sooooo bulky and knew hypnosis and reflect. It created situations for my team to recover from a losing situation.
Now this is something I agree with completely. That's why I always play every pkmn game on "set" battle style. Combined with my "no potions" restriction it makes Reborn pretty challenging. (And Reborn Hardcore impossible - but I'll try it again later.)
Also it's part of the reason why my favorite official game is Colloseum - there are only double battles. I seriously underestimated one opponent who had a Gyarados and a Rhydon. Tried to kill the Gyarados right away with electricity... that Rhydon had Ligtning Rod. Or that other trainer who only used Electrodes - every turn one used Protect and the other exploded. :-D Some situations just can't happen in singles.
I'd like to one day make a Reborn mod that would turn all battles to doubles. It would require a better AI for doubles though.
Original moves are my biggest pet peeve in Pokemon fan games. I hate them so much with a passion. To me it gives off an impression, "I'm not very good at battles so I'm just going to make my own move to make them OP or tough." I highly doubt Ame will be giving custom moves either. Illegal moves sometimes by accident, but never custom.
Yeah... This is why I don't play Reju... :-(

Not sure about the reason. Try uploading your save file:

Everyone else would probably file a restraining order or just beat you into the ground.
Except for Titania - she would probably cut you in half with her Aegislash.
The safest choice is probably Shade (if you had the guts to do it) - he would react with just his usual "...". :-D
-
I've read somewhere that Zorua only appears at night. And that it requires certain weather condition - windy I think?
-
Yeah I know that stealing from trainers normally doesn't work in Reborn because the item disappears after battle. However it turns out that with Covet + Fling + Recycle you can still keep it.
So what items can we steal that are not otherwise obtainable or are obtainable only near the end? (Besides Leftovers of course.)

Sounds interesting. So who am I?
