These sprites are great, but trying to resize them is awful. You lose a lot of the original quality and they just don't end up looking great. Can you please post the original 192 x 96 versions?

Hello, I am quite late. I do not check these forums too much.

I have updated the OP to include the original sized versions. Except for the retired sprites, because eh.

Were you trying to resize them to 192 x 96? Because that's the issue, I have not set them to such, except for the singular sprites like Annihilape, Sandy Shocks, etc(except roaring moon). Like I said in an earlier post to another person who had problems resizing, just resizing the image down by 50% would give you the original size. mspaint can do that.

yo these sprites are fire any download link ?

right click image, save image as, bam, complete.

now if you're asking for the sprites in the Reborn format, you gotta do that part yourself, which is not difficult if you just look at the way they are formatted.

    I Really like these Sprites!

Some of them though exceed the color count limit. It kind of looks like you took the pallets from King's sprites and then added to them. Just be mindful of the limit

I did use King's palettes for quite a lot, is true. But yeah like Ame said too, RPGmaker games don't need to comply to any palette limitations like the official games do, so yeah if you wanna insert these into some romhacks it would take some work to make them work. Not that it wouldn't take some work anyways for that, since official games also have size limits, sometimes 80x80, which i didn't try to stick to.

AS FOR NEW SPRITES, I have an announcement, kinda.

    First, new Iron Moth,

    moth.png

Now more compact and with an adjusted palette.

Now here's the thing, there's like no other gen 9 Pokemon I'm really interested in making sprites for, since by now sprites made by others exist for them. Maybe I'll make a Kilowattrel, Palafin-bigman, and remake Slither Wing or Roaring moon if I find the patience for that last one, but thats about it.

SO, here's also some more sprites i've made like a year ago that I didn't include due to the gen 9 theming of the thread.

    Jangmo-o line.

    mo-o.png

    and

    Heliolisk

    hellolisk.png

It is also very likely I wont be making anything for a WHILE now, bc I simply don't have much interest in doing so, unless I'm really bored like I was today and remade moth.

These sprites look great, but would you happen to have any tips for resizing these? Any time I try to resize the sprites so they fit in the game they either look too big or lose quality when I size them down to 96x96. Maybe it's the software I'm using or maybe I'm just screwing something up, but I guess I'd get better results straight from the source.

Yeah most of the sprites are not fit in a 96x96 space, try just resizing the whole image to 50% instead, that should work. I mean, doing that works in MS Paint, though you will lose transparency.

    AS A SIDENOTE

I somehow completely forgot to post my Capsakid and Scovillain sprites I made weeks ago. How did that happen? Oh well, here they be

These look very nice! always envying people who can make good (back) sprites! I'd love to use some for the gen 9 mod here.

Thank you, but also that reminds me, I shoulda said in the OP that these are Free Use given credit is provided.

so yeah, you can use them !

  6. back again, but only with 2 remakes this time of varying significance!

    Spoiler

Gholdengo got a complete makeover, (accurately)smaller, better palette, much cleaner overall, and a pose you can easily slot a surfboard on to if wanted.

    HY1TSuS.png

Nacli line became 10% smaller, small palette changes, and some more detail changes on Garganacl.

    HY1TUw7.png

  7. comin' atcha with 2 future paradoxes! well, one's a remake, but still a future paradoxical pokemon!

    Spoiler

Iron Jugulis. actually one of my greatest disappointments of the generation that makes me border on hating this, but spite(bc i can rant bout this thing a lot) and curiosity(of if it could look good in 2D) are two of the greatest driving forces ever.
    H55hPig.png

Iron Valiant remake! Wanted to remake this like, the moment I made the first one and so I did it. comes in two(2) different flavors of blade!

    H55kFNR.png

I'll be keeping the old version in a different spoiler bag on the OP.

  8. Hello once again. I got hit with ransomware about a week ago, and though i managed to recover most important personal stuff, I lost my Reborn savefiles, so I had to make new runs. Anna smiles route again.

    image.png.da30f29d44a882d2baf5989890480459.png

tried to use some Pokemon i never had before, but i just cannot go without Kommo-o it seems. and also yes, those are custom sprites for Kommo-o and Heliolisk made by yours truly.

    Spoiler

First time I didn't cheese Heather with Intimidate and Dragon Dance Kommo-o. Instead I cheesed with X-Defend and Swords Dance Mega Scizor.

Laura and Bennet went like : Weavile Poison Jabbed Whimsicott Turn 1 as Kommo-o danced and then died, so Scizor came out and Swords Danced next to Kommo-o. I always let Leavanny live forever since it is quite weak.

Elias' Noivern got folded by Ice Shard, I baited his Dragonite to use Outrage on Primarina since its Banded, and then it didn't wanna switch out because whatever came in would explode. Kangaskhan got popped by Rhyperior Superpower, Drampa and Kommo-o got blasted by Primarina and Ditto hardly existed.

Anna I set up Scizor vs Ninetales, KO'd it, and Metagross, but Starmie hung on by a thread and KO'd me back. After killing it with Weavile, I used Heliolisk to Electric Terrain on Sylveon and then walled it and used X-SpAttks on it to then Sweep.

I tried to do the same vs Lin, but Foul Play on her Alolatales stopped me. Her choice scarfed Garchomp, much like Elias' Dragonite wouldn't switch out vs Primarina despite being locked into Outrage. Conkeldurr also got mostly handled by Primarina(took like 85% then picked off). Mega Gardevoir got Bullet Punted after a boost vs it, and then Delphox and Abra got mangled by Rhyperior Earthquake(lived a Flash Cannon from Full HP thanks to Assault Vest).

Against Lin 2, I gave Weavile an Air Balloon to not have my speed dropped, and then shredded through Mismagius and Flygon with it, Clefable was a huge issue for this team, so I slapped Poison Jab on Rhyperior and spammed until I died for Scizor to then pick it off. I unleashed a Gigavolt Havoc on Celesteela with Heliolisk, and I used an X-Defend on Honchkrow's Sucker Punch to not get OHKO'd by it and Thunderbolted it to dust, then Primarina just cleaned up the Hydreigon.

Then against Lin 3, I just... spammed Toxic with SpDef boosted Mega Scizor and hope it didn't become a fire type, bc then I'd have to switch out and then come back in and X-SpDef again. I missed Toxic 5 times in a row which was comical. It ended up running out of moves.

  9. Spoiler

Ace is indeed Ciel's cousin. If you speak to Ciel in the nightclub after you rescue Ace in the Tao Trio quest she will mention that she didn't know you've met her cousin before and then talks about how she scolded Terra for what she did to them.

  10. Second time beating on a different save file, Anna Smiles route this time.

Kommo-o and Rotom-Heat are here again with the same sets bc yeah they're good and very useful, you can see them on my earlier post here.

anime    - Greninja       - Life Orb        - Scald, Dark Pulse, Ice Beam, Extrasensory                    - Protean, ofc

dababy  - Mamoswine - Assault Vest - Earthquake, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Stomp Tantrum(all these double battles man damn) - Thicc Phat

BIRD UP - Staraptor     - Sharp Beak   - Brave Bird, Close Combat, Quick Attack, Final Gambit - Intimidate

knife       - Aegislash    - Leftovers       - Flash Cannon, Shadow Ball, Toxic, King's Shield          - yes. the quirky part of this Aegislash was that i built it super SpDef invested bc just look at the rest of my team.

    smileanna.png.b92245a86ec8d07c169a23230e00f338.png

much like in my first run, i beat Heather by lowering Crobat's Attack to -3, an XDefend, and Dragon Dance Kommo-o(hlaklaklakya).

and same with Laura Bennet, eliminated Whimsicott and THEN Dragon Dance with Kommo-o, and Taunt the Sleep Powderers.

Elias gave me some trouble with Kommo-o and Kangaskhan, i ended up abusing the Ditto with dababy and Rotom(FRY), using Will-o-Wisp until he switched to something else. knife, my Aegislash put it hella work here despite the terrain harming it.

BIRD UP did more work than expected vs Anna, outspeeding and OHKOing the Gardevoir with Brave Bird, and then dodging a Meteor Mash and using Final Gambit to KO Megagross even tho i was just sacking it for Intimidate for Rotom to live a Zen Headbutt and Will-o-Wisp it, after that Aegislash just went crazy and undisturbed.

Overview of the team : is that a physical attacker? what type? don't matter, enough Will-o-Wisps and Intimdates will let Kommo-o set up.

or alternatively: if it can be Toxic'd, Aegislash will beat it.

  11. I'm doing a second run for a different route, but my first team was the following :

ermes      - Kommo-o      - Leftovers     -  Drain Punch, Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Taunt       - Bulletproof

cabbage  - Ferrothorn     - Leftovers     -  Gyro Ball, Knock Off, Power Whip, Toxic                      - Iron Barbs

caesar     - Araquanid     - Assault Vest or Mystic Water - Liquidation, Leech Life, Icy Wind Toxic                - Water Bubble

sandal     - Krookodile    - changed often - Earthquake, Crunch, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge           - Intimidate

    djkhaled  - Rotom-Heat - Firium-Z       - Overheat, Thunderbolt, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave    - levitate lol

eggar      - Gengar          - Gengarite    - Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Dazzling Gleam, Destiny Bond - cursed body lol

the whole Elite 4 for me was like 40% Kommo-o, 40% Ferrothorn, 20% everyone else

if Kommo-o found an opportunity to set up it was typically ggs, if it was physical there was a chance for it too. I swept both Heather and Laura/Bannett with it.

Ferrothorn was just a catch-all GOAT defense mon, it played big parts in every battle except Heather especially big vs Anna and Elias, and sitting there vs Bennet/Laura.

Araquanid was my screeching halt to Special Attacks with Assault Vest, and I'd use it to either bombard with Liquidation or speed drop with Icy Wind.

Krookodile was... okay so it was good during most other parts of the game, but had a dreadful time in the E4, mostly used for Intimidate to allow the others to work better.

Rotom-H was a late addition to my team bc i sucked vs Flying Types, it was quite crucial for its defensive profile and Z-Overheat. Dual status moves on it for the situation.

Gengar was added super late and the only mon that was full 252/252 in 2 stats. though most its usage was for Destiny Bond, except for vs Elias and Anna where it went crazy.

all my guys were EV trained well rounded(except for gengar) with EVs everywhere except for the secondary Attacking stat and for Araquanid and Ferrothorn who had no speed EVs.

there were so many other mons I wanted to use, like Hydreigon, Garchomp, Blaziken, Salamence, Greninja, Magnezone, Metagross, Scizor, Tyranitar, but conflicting types with Kommo-o, Ferrothorn and Krookodile who had been some of my major driving forces throughout the game stopped me from using them.

  12. Spoiler

Assuming you're talking about the one who's normally cornered by that one Grunt in Beryl normally.

First go here, the house of the dude who heals you, south of the area you fought the Tangrowth

    9175f58c-bf5a-11ec-aabc-170ccaf7281f.gif

Then go all the way south, and then west, there's a very small pathway that'll lead to this area.

    1b25a1c5-bf5b-11ec-8b53-170ccaf7281f.gif

And again, go south down those steps and keep walking until you get here.

    4c9036a1-bf5b-11ec-ada1-170ccaf7281f.gif

The pitfall will be covered, so just walk over it. Then leave The Underoot from the first exit you see going north.

Then finally, go into this collapsed building just south from where you came from.

    9422c1ae-bf5b-11ec-a982-170ccaf7281f.gif

Battle the Meteor goon, and that should be it!

  13. This has actually been a thing for a long time now, but I suppose almost nobody ever uses this Pokemon so its easy to see how this went under the radar for so long.

Just as I said in the title of the thread, Barbaracle's stats have been wrong, more specifically its SpAtk, SpDef, and Speed being shuffled around, understandable accident, thanks to the stat order the PBS files use. You can check it for yourself by downloading the PBS files on the devblog of V13's release.

Normally it has 54 SpAtk, 86 SpDef, and 68 Speed, but in Rejuv it has 86 SpAtk, 68 SpDef, and 54 Speed.

Fun Fact : Barbaracle used to have this exact same issue in older versions of Reborn too, but has since been fixed there

  14. Kinda late to this, but oh man I had a LOT of Pokemon that did really well for me.

Inteleon, my starter. Came in clutch more times than I can count, thanks to its bonkers speed, and maybe most surprisingly, TEARFUL LOOK with its speed was a lifesaver against basically every big boss battle there was. From Rift Gyarados to Rift Gardevoir and even beyond, it came in handy. Also its STAB moves are so strong that my moveset on it was Snipe Shot, Surf, Rain Dance, and Tearful Look, yes, only water moves. Notably carried me vs Valarie of all characters, bc the Field boost made Snipe Shot 2HKO half her team LMAO.

Corviknight... if I didn't get so lucky with this one, I'd probably still be stuck somewhere. This thing was an omega HARD carry for nearly everything, even though its damage output was whatever, and Steel Wing missing when I need it to hit the most, just being bulky enough for me to heal others was important. Also, I don't think a Pokemon can carry a battle as hard as Mirror Armor Corviknight can carry against Saki.

A-Palossand(Rock) was a very pleasant surprise. The real reason I wanted to use it is because I really want a Rock/Ghost type to be a real thing, but then it ended up being a really solid part of my team. It knew Power Gem, Shadow Ball, Giga Drain, and Iron Defense when I caught it, and kept that same moveset till the end. Carried in several battles, like Amber, Adam, Souta, SURPRISINGLY crucial vs Ryland with Iron Defense, every goddamn Trick Room team, and others.

And then Grimmsnarl, it is one of my favorite Pokemon, but i was skeptical on using it bc its kinda late, but boy did it do work. The value of Thunder Wave, Sucker Punch, and being a Fairy type came in handy a whole buncha times, despite how late it was. Notably carried vs Puppet Masters, Rift Gardevoir, Geara, and others/

Honorable mention to Sandaconda, Coil, and Glare schnasty. Sand Spit is also quite good, even though it doesn't function correctly(it doesn't activate when KO'd as it normally should). It was really the only reason I won vs Zetta Geara on Valor Mountain, by setting up coils to all hell and back after Geara's Clefable died. The only reason it didn't stay on my team till the end was because... man its ground type moves by lv up are weak or Dig, so it really couldn't do much in terms of damage.

  15. I remember using a Chesto Berry and hoping for Lovely Kiss to miss so that my NON-PRANKSTER Grimmsnarl could Thunder Wave her twice (since nothing in her moveset could OHKO Grimmsnarl, unlike the rest of my team) Then letting something else die, then using Mud Shot with A-Roserade*, Tearful Look with Inteleon*, and using everyone else besides Grimmsnarl to chip away at the shields. The attack drop part is vital, because while Grimmsnarl is not OHKO'd by anything, it IS 2HKO'd by Sacred Sword normally, but not guaranteed with the drop. The Speed drop is also important because Grimmsnarl isn't faster even after Paralysis.

After all this, its basically a stall war. Better have bought a LOT of Energy Roots in GDC for this one.

    * Doesn't need to be Mud Shot from A-Roserade, anything that Drops Speed, and is faster after her paralysis works.

    * Doesn't need to be Tearful Look from Inteleon specifically, anything that drops Attack works, or an Intimidater with Confide also works.

  16. My Team had undergone many changes, but the final team was : Inteleon, Grimmsnarl, Corviknight, Aevian Toxtricity, Aevian Palossand(Rock), and Aevian Roserade

so yeah I REALLY wanted a team of stuff i couldn't've used in the previous versions lol

Other Pokemon i that were on my team for a while until replacement were Breloom, Salazzle, Sandaconda, Hariyama, Centiskorch, Coalossal, and Luxray, though some of them were still brought out again for certain fights (Hariyama for Florin and Hazuki, Breloom for Ryland, Centiskorch on Ryland, Hazuki, Geara, and Saki, Coalossal for Angie)

  17. 18 hours ago, Ghostea said:

sorry to bother you, but could you tell me where i could find a Leaf Stone? the one in Gearen Park was removed afaik and i'm not sure when the next closest one is!!

You can buy Water Stones, Fire Stones, and Leaf Stones from the Lost Camp if you've rescued the right child, i don't remember who he was and where he was, but you can look that stuff up.

on another note here is some stat info : (order is HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Speed)

A-Lapras's stats are the same as Lapras EXCEPT its Atk and SpDef are swapped, making its stats 130/95/80/85/85/60

A-Chandelure has 5 more HP than regular Chandelure... thats it. dunno why it does, but it does. (65/55/90/145/90/80)

now A-Paras and Sect... Paras' stats are normally the same as regular's, but after dying its stats become 15/100/25/45/25/70

And Sect's stats, before dying its stats are the same as normal Parasect, except with 5 less attack. And upon Resuscitation, its stats become 40/130/40/50/40/105

    A-Munna's stats are 76/67/45/25/45/24, while A-Musharna's stats are 116/107/85/65/85/29

  18. EDIT All these are found around the 2nd gym part of the game or slightly later(unintentionally ordered from earliest to latest too lmao)

Hariyama is a nice early game Pokemon for a while, thanks to cool moves like Fake Out and Knock Off (and how early Makuhita evolves), but its a bit difficult to use healing items on it thanks to its fat HP

I used Carkol and Coalossal were good for a good while, but they started to fall back because Coalossal is both just weak in general, but its level up learnset is a whole bunch of weak or unreliable attacks.

Ribombee's another good option(though may be a bit easy to miss), because it is just super fast, gets good moves. though it starts to feel both a bit weak and real fragile later on

Sandaconda is a bit later than the others here, but it is pretty interesting. Coil and Glare are nasty and its stats aint bad at all. but it crucially lacks a GOOD Ground Move by level up, I used my Sandaconda till the 70's, and its moveset was still just Bulldoze, Coil, Rock Tomb, and Glare, really was just the Slow and Steady kinda mon.

Ah, thought someone said they found it at night, changed my settings for daytime and found it rather quickly, thanks!

  20. Ok so, A-Budew is in the Desert. right? I'm gonna assume it is a wild encounter somewhere.

But my question is, in which part of this big ol' desert is it be in? Since the encounters change with the area quite a bit.

  21. Oh now we're doing stat info too? In that case...

A-Toxtricity's stats are 70 HP, 75 Atk, 70 Def. 114 SpAt, 70 SpDef, 98 Speed. which is Toxtricity's stats but with the attack and speed swapped(and 5 points of HP missing for some reason)

I mentioned it having Galvanize, but turns out its other two abilities are Punk Rock, and.... Solid Rock? I mean..  I get the joke but its like... weird.

All three A-Palossand have the exact same stats are regular Palossand. which are 85 HP, 75 Atk, 110 Def, 100 SpAt, 75 SpDef, 35 Speed.

Rock Palossand gets Clear Body and Solid Rock

Fire Palossand gets Flame Body and Steam Engine

Ice Palossand gets Ice Body and BULLETPROOF

EDIT : Thanks @Vivi_Hallow for pointing out my mistake on Ice Palossand lol idk why i thought it was Filter

  22. This might sound strange but... get a good Pyukumuku. I used a Pyukumuku to beat her. with good investment in all 3 of HP, Defense, and SpDef, and a Sitrus Berry. Though its better to have more SpDef investment.

Pyukumuku can use Purify to turn the Dimensional Field into a normal Icy Field, which is a good option, but not the most important.

Pyukumuku gets both Toxic and Gastro Acid, Toxic is self explanatory, but Gastro Acid is good here to neuter the Arctovish and Beartic's speed, though you can also use it to make Rotom-Frost weak to Ground too.

The most important thing about it, is that it can stone wall everything on Angie's Team except for Rotom and Arctovish's Freeze Dry.

While both Abilities are good, they don't really matter that much, since Angie doesn't have anything that boosts up.

Last slot can go to either potentially Recover or Memento, Recover is again self explanatory, but Memento can help turn like... Arctovish into a dud and give you more room.

I'd also recommend a lot of MooMoo Milk, because you'll need it to keep it alive.

I ended up getting down to just my Pyukumuku vs Walrein and Crabominable, and winning thanks to Toxic wearing them down.

Aside from that, I used things like Technician Mach Punch from Breloom, Salazzle just being fast, Coalossal Rock Tomb, and Inteleon being also fast and Tearful Look(lmao).

  23. Venusaur is pretty good, despite its horrid list of actual attacking moves by level up, thanks to its good Status Moves like Leech Seed and Sleep Powder, and the Giga Drain Tutor in Crawli's Gym, and Sludge Bomb TM in Carotos solve its movepool issue.

I remember using Tangrowth in my first ever run, it was also really good thanks to its great bulk, Regenerator, the utility of Knock Off and Sleep Powder by lv up(though Sleep Powder is relearner only). And pretty decent Coverage, with Giga Drain and the likes of Ancient Power/Rock Tomb or Sludge Bomb.

One I'm using in my current run is Breloom, who is kinda weird, but good. In huge part due to Technician Mach Punch coming in very clutch. You'll have to do some playing around with Reverse Candies if you want both Spore(only as Shroomish at lv 40), and Technician-boosted Force Palm(Breloom lv 28). Though if you're looking for a defensive grass type, you probably shouldn't go for Breloom.
