gulpin completely destroys florinia because it gets toxic and acid spray.
Gulpin is already being moved elsewhere afaik, nothing about the new location yet though. Gulpin is also not incredibly popular, and after that point it's a slighly bulky status effect bot and will not sweep much else, if anything, after that.

Can I please have a reset and spawn in another world? D:
If you can afford it, sure.
On topic: "vote in blank" being the biggest joke ever in my country, in which if it wins an election only the most voted candidates can participate in the second round (eliminating all the smaller ones) and if the "vote in blank" also wins the second round then is invalid.

I don't know why they choose to do it that way but they did.
Taking the SE text out would be even more confusing for people not as familiar with typings.

I'm in Jasper Ward, and I'm very, very stuck. I can't seem to go anywhere except the police station, the poke centre, and two apartment buildings.
I'm pretty sure there must be more to it, since I've only one found of the five missing cops (I've found him, but I cannot reach him, which is causing me all sorts of stress...)
Does anyone know what I'm missing? I assume I've walked past an opportunity to get an HM that cuts down the tendrils as well as the trees? Or mabe I finally get rocksmash? Either way, I can't move forward as is.
Does anyone have any ideas?
If you look closely in the alleys you'll see some tiles have a shade that indicate an entrance to another room, this applies to the majority of alleys in the game. Also, you cannot cut those vines that come from the ground.

So defeating him gives me Houndour too? I think I might be misunderstanding....
Yes, follow the aqua quests until you raid their hideout, defeat him and you can find a houndour left behind.
-
I have a quick question. Is the Magma storyline the only way you can get Houndour? I ended up doing the Aqua Gang storyline instead (for Carvanha), so I was curious if there was any other way to get Houndour. I was going to train one up so I could use it against Shade.
Defeat the magma boss in their hideout.

I hate her spamming Confuse Ray and Struggle Bug :/ It's not really fair tbh. Plus her ****ING Masquerein's Intimidate.... Another thing: HOW DOES ANORITH HAVE ROCK SLIDE? D:
If desperation becomes too much, get growlithe to learn flame burst and set her forest ablaze, that's the definition of catharsis.

Only volbeat iirc,

The most immediate thing you could do is grab a graveler from the cave in the staircase so it can set up stealth rocks and lvl up your noibat and hariyama a bit more, shouldn't have many problems after that.

Eclipse's room in Calcenon is now accesible (assuming you had the appropiate events that lead to her father apologizing to you) and people should definitely check that out.

Nice pun and I cant make any more jokes it's too hard I need geniuses like you guys to make some
You can do it, Bayleef in yourself.

BRB GF Aggron... i tried.

i tried really hard finding where i need to go. I just beat Blake on top of the Amentrine Peak, and Cal offered me to go back to Amentrine City. I was told to go find someone named Terra but im lost. Can i get some guidance please? (insert smile here)
I'm surprised you missed someone as "notable" as terra, but have you tried the circus?

I'm waiting for his reaction when he meets a certain boss Pokemon before facing Terra.
"...ghost moves don't affect psychic type pokemons in this fie-WTF dis doesn't make any sense!!!" can't wait to see that.
-
Don't confuse ingame time and actual time
You still went to calcenon, fought charlotte, saved ametrine, and went into glitch world shennanigans with terra so... yeah, a valid concern.

Idk if it's been said but I'd love to see Horsea early in game after getting Rock Smash or so (a small fishing hole by Ameritine Mountain by Shade's with Old Rod would be perfect in my opinion). Especially because I have no idea if the Dragon Scale is in game yet (I know Dragon Fang is through Druddigon, but not the point)
Natu would also be cool, as an alternate to Woobat/Swoobat
This last one may be a bit of a stretch but having Flabebe earlier in game as an event would be pretty col too.
Dragon Scale has a chance to come with horsea when you catch one (i had to catch 22 horseas before getting one, but that's me) but i agree it could be useful to have a seadra earlier assuming the item gets a Reaper Cloth treatment.

Vullaby is an odd omission actually considering we got rufflet/braviary. Also another vote for the gothita line, unless Gothitelle's sidequest was supposed to give us one.
You need to talk to the gothitas after cleaning and one of them will ask to go with you.

So... Mankey?
Again, I don't think that axing Pokemon as a knee-jerk reaction to them being good for a couple of boss battles is a good policy. We'd be playing whack-a-mole: one option gets axed and another one turns up.
There are a couple more i can think of but it's not exactly a knee-jerk reaction, more like having options without going too far, for example: i like having a fighting type there as an option to deal with the immediate challenges but a more frail pokemon could do well enough without being too overpowering to florinia and the team meteor fights right after while still being decent enough pokemon to invest in for later.
Also, for florinia specifically, there's kricketune which i feel is the sole purpose of using that pokemon.

I don't know if everyone has this (pretty sure though) but there is one pokemon in the entire pokemon universe that I absolutely despise.
And I'm sorry gulpin lovers (or gulpin lover) but that pokemon is gulpin. I have never been able to make gulpin work for me in any way while trying to play through a game, BUT I have tried, I have give that little.. green.. stomach many chances but it never ever delivered. It only gave me hope when it learned sludge at early levels, but after that it just becomes a tiny ball of sadness.
But then it evolves into swalot, and you think "Oh thank the lord, things will be different now" nope! It's still the same thing, it just has more hp now and became purple. Instead of looking like it's sick, it now looks like it's choking as well.
Alas I have given up on the both of them. Adieu stomach pokemon.
Pfew needed to get that off my chest for some time now.
My gulpin was pretty useful as a tanky status effect bot with body slam/toxic/yawn and it learns sludge bomb early enough to give it some steam, it falls off quite hard after lvl 50 and i stopped using him around 60. I would say he served his purpose quite well until reaching a point where he was outclassed by available pokemon.
On topic: i would like a less strong fighting type before florinia instead of makuhita/hariyama, something that evolves after lvl 25 would be ok i think.

You missed Ame : P

It's all about perseverance and resourcefulness, i think. Quite a few times i've had to use "mercenary" one-time pokemons for certain occasions and also invest some time and money on pokemons that would go back to the box once whatever ordeal required them is done with (name the box in their honor, they deserve it).
In my impression, the game taughts you that your team is far bigger than just the 6 you carry around at any given time, it does a nice job and is a really interesting experience.

I think the Gastly event could have its position switched with the Solosis event. Don't think it'd cause too much trouble considering IIRC the Solosis event requires Radomus defeated before you can access that part of the Wasteland, and there aren't any major fights that the Reuniculs line could completely steamroll after Aya.
You only need to defeat fern in route 1 to gain access.

- ZUBAT
The Bat has a CRAP ton of Potential, but it's not a crobat until it's Friendship is high enough, and there are places we can put it -post- Florinia if we need to (like the Rhindocrine caves, or the Beryl Cave) - waiting until the Wasteland for Zubat seems rather obscene to me, but there must have been a reason it was moved.
Underground railnet (post rock smash) seems reasonable, although there are more than enough flying types before kiki already... but meh.

Lol, I want the Reborn editor if I get bored and want to do some random things (like making weak pokemon more useful, by giving them funny moves/abilities), but not for the actually story. Stop being a little crybaby about it and get it together man. And it's totally legal going back to an older episode to get a pokemon. Just because you are not clever enough to think of that, doesnt mean its cheating - because that would basically mean you would've to release your Guardevoir that you caught as a Ralts in the first few episodes. Or that Magby and Elecid. They are all illegal now right? Wow, better delete my entire safefile and make a new one, because I'm one hell of a cheater. I'm even usin Cheat Engine to speed up the game and EV train my pokemon faster. DAAAAMN I'm such a bad*ss, wow. O no, I beat Shelly without the field effects. I am soooo evil.
Bruh.
No need to get pissy about it, fact is that it isn't something intended or even practical for players to do but a lot of people have things that shouldn't really be obtainable in the current version but are allowed to keep them and that's that.
Anybody watching shofu's playthrough?

Only attacks from those types are supposed to be affected by the field.
