  1. Some other points about the game for whoever might be interested:

-The game is developed by Hi-Rez studios, which also created Tribes: Ascend (free to play FPS) and Global Agenda (MMO shooter).

-The game features gods and mythological beings of multiple pantheons, the currently available pantheons being: Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Mayan, Chinese, Hindu.

-It uses a system similar to League of Legends to acquire playable gods: some gods are available to every account while others switch on a weekly rotation and are available for purchase with both ingame and premium currency. The main differences are that gods that aren't currently owned can be rented for periods of time with ingame currency for a fraction of the full price, the rate at which ingame currency is obtained is (in my opinion) considerably faster, and that the game has the option of buying all current AND future gods for a set price (30 USD).

-The game features several game modes with different maps and objectives:

-Conquest: The usual 5v5, 3 lanes plus jungle, map with multiple objectives and buffs.

-Arena: A 5v5 team deathmatch with no side objectives besides buffs, it uses a ticket system where each team looks to reduce their opponent's ticket count by obtaining player kills and defeating enemy minions.

-Assault: Basically ARAM, a 5v5 match with randomly selected gods in a single lane with jungle and no access to the item shop besides dying.

-Siege: A 4v4 match with 2 lanes and a jungle inbetween with a central objective.

-Joust: A 3v3 variant of Conquest with a single lane and jungles to each side.

-The "Special Event": A custom match that uses any of the 5 available maps with an specific set of rules, it can be based on a theme or just be chaotic with alterations like 80% cooldown reduction and no mana costs among others, this game mode is available once per week.

-Conquest and Joust are the only game modes that support ranked matches, with Joust switching to a 1v1 format instead of the normal 3v3.

-The game has its own eSports scene and pro league, it also celebrated its first world championship in january 2015 with a 2.4 million dollar as it's overall prize pool.

-The game will also be available on Xbox One, it is currently in alpha stage for the console.

  2. So, uh, DB. That, uh, that's a thing. I missed DB so I don't really get the hype :P

The original Dragon Ball is quite good honestly, then there's Dragon Ball Z which just likes to exaggerate a lot and waste a lot of time with repeated sequences and scenes from previous episodes but still makes you hype for the big moments for whatever reason, and there's Dragon Ball GT which i actually liked since it seemed more similar to the original (with a ridiculous premise though) but the majority of people dislike or don't even acknowledge GT.

Didn't watch any of the abridged or whatever versions since i already know how it goes.

  3. It depends on how BS you want that game to be since you could have stuff like Ogre Magi/Rubik and others that when i adapt them to a fighting game in my head seem to be just absurdly strong.

That said, i would love to play characters like Volibear or Lion in a fighting game more similar to, say, Mortal Kombat rather than Marvel vs Capcon even if MvC is a lot flashier. I guess i'll tinker with this for a while.

  4. Haven't touched this game since beta and i'm not too interested in playing it again, even though they send emails constantly.

From what i remember the biggest issue for me in this game was how they handled instancing and grouping making it near-pointless to group up for quests that required killing X or interacting with objects and having places like caves with quest objectives being disgustingly crowded ending in having lots of people waiting for a npc to spawn while watching 20+ of that npc's corpse laying around where it should have been instanced too make it less annoying and flow breaking.

The most positive aspect of the game was the large scale pvp in Cyrodiil since it actually ran quite smoothly with huge amounts of people and had a lot of interesting things that really made stuff like taking over forts feel cool, you could buy and use siege weaponry to attack or defend and you could break most of the structure's outer walls, you could also have nice large scale battles on the open field or smaller scale skirmishes when trying to take lesser objectives.

There was also a really big emphasis on crafting, making it so that it should be the players primary form of gearing in the game.

The start with the player being a prisoner with no past is a signature from Elder Scrolls games, Morrowind is maybe the only that is slightly different but you are still a conscript with no past there aswell from what i remember.

  5. So has anyone watched Gintama? I've recently started it and yes it is funny but..does the plot ever get deeper? I've heard it does but im not exactly sure when I should expect it... Also are there any major character deaths, im totally into that.

Think of Gintama as the japanese version of "The Simpsons", pretty much all episodes are self contained stories with recurrent characters most of the time (some are 2-4 episodes long) and the "plot" advances just to introduct new characters. Also

it has RIDICULOUS amounts of references and parodies about pretty much anything

It's my favorite anime though, i find it absolutely hilarious and the characters are lovely as they refuse to change themselfs while each of them have several memorable moments.

  6. I don't remember any of the currently available tutors having drain punch, so i would say no. You could maybe breed it but that requires you to use a previous episode.

  7. In no particular order:

    1. Final Ansem in Kingdom Hearts 1: If you were underleved on your first playthrough it devolved into flying around him doing nothing and hitting the boss once every 15 minutes since all of his telegraphed moves would leave you with just enough health to die to the laser orbs that harass you all fight long, and if you face him at an appropiate level he's just boring and uninteresting.

    2. Doom Dragon in Golden Sun: The Lost Age: I actually love this boss, but the Djinn Storm/Cruel Ruin combo (an ability that lowers your party's stats to the ground and makes you unable to use your strongest attacks for several turns followed by an ability that can potentially one-shot your whole party) is just cheap.

    3. Heroic Siegecrafter Blackfuse in World of Warcraft: A lot of people praised this fight, but in my opinion the boss was just "let's throw shit everywhere on the map and make players run cheese comps for the conveyor belt with the rest of the team standing in a corner".

    4. Mewtwo in Pokemon Stadium: You know a boss is cheap when your best bet to beat it is hoping for a OHKO move to land.

    5. Genshin on the airplane in Ninja Gaiden 2 (not the SNES one): Incendiary shurikens + awful hitboxes + minions with more incendiary shurikens = not fun.

    Just those for now.

  8. The ice stone is Celestine Mountain iirc, using the entrance found in North Aventurine Woods which can be reached when riding a Tauros.

As for the Mudkip, make sure you went through all the dialogues from the guy (i assume you did, but still), it has to be clear weather during daytime from what i remember.

  9. Is there any way to get back to reborn city before fighting Terra. Ive just beaten Blake (The ice guy, I think thats his name). It would be really helpful to go back to catch/breed/train.

If you defeated Terra (which means you completed the current episode) you can go through the Agate City gates to go back to Reborn City, it will be this way until the story makes us return naturally.

  10. My older brothers got Pokemon Blue and Red back in the day which i played aswell while without understanding much about them, then i watched the first Pokemon episode as soon as it came up on tv in my country and my reaction at the end of the episode was WOW. I proceeded to beg for Pokemon Stadium after that, which i got and was just awesome, and it went on from there with me playing every Pokemon game released before gen 4 since i would never touch a nintendo DS and ended up missing everything from that point onwards.

Now back in 2014 i was browsing MMO-Champion (a site primarily for World of Warcraft) and some guy was asking for cool RPGs to play with some other guy recommending him Pokemon Reborn. so i decided that it would be nice to see how much things have changed in these games, i also never thought of playing Pokemon fangames, and the game ended up being really good.

  11. Yeah I found Pangoro to be pants in the Gym battle but very helpful up until this point, I only switched out Pidgeotto for the low level. What is the benefit of having a Flygon instead of a Vibrava?

Where did you get a Seedot or Nuzleaf? I can not remember seeing one so far but I could be forgetting somewhere.

Flygon has A LOT more stats compared to Vibrava, it also learns Dragon Claw as soon as it evolves and since Flygon is more of a physical attacker it deals considerably more damage than Dragon Breath.

There's an event in a cave in the beryl cemetery that requires rocksmash to access, if you go through the cave you will find a clearing where you can find Nuzleafs at night and Tropius in sunny days.

Regarding Kiki: Try to predict the Hi Jump Kicks so you can switch into Drifloon so they miss and hurt themselfs. Luxray with intimidate and baby doll eyes is quite useful to stall and outlast a lot of pokemon. Swoobat is a nice pokemon for this gym and onwards, grinding one if it wasn't part of your team sucks though and it can still be one-shotted by a couple of Kiki's pokemon.

  12. One thing I would like to opine though is that there is a bit too much black and X or gray and X. Shiny Pokemon in Reborn look really washed out and frankly "unfun" versus their colorful originals. Often, I tend to stick to the classics.

That's mostly because of the theme the game runs with, a lot of dread and a polluted region, but i have found more than enough colorful shinies to make contrast in my runs.

  13. I cannot exactly relate, but i can share this piece:

Since i was little, all the way until highschool, i aced through pretty much everything and was recognized for doing so. The thing is that all that recognition, which in occasions was made public and awkward, from teachers and older people was coupled with disdain and rejection from the kids i would have normally hung up with, which only got worse by things like me preffering to play with my imagination by myself instead of other kids most of the time. I still had friends and such, but was excluded and deemed "too good to belong" by the majority whenever i felt like branching out.

Then in highschool i started to think that putting such effort into excelling was not worth it and i started to, well, put less effort... loosen up and do some pretty stupid things that, while i don't regret, weren't really sensical. I also met really abusive individuals in that time which started to develop some sort "protective behavior" in me, meaning that it is impossible for me not to react when personally witnessing uncalled acts of abuse on other people, and that got me in a lot of fights (some including serious threats to my well-being) as you would imagine.

It became a lot better after that and there's a lot more to it than what i just mentioned, including all the interactions i've seen online and a bunch of stories along the road. But what i wanted to say is that i started with that fear of failure and realized that failures are necessary at some points with whatever consequences they bring, i also became aware how fortunate i have been in my life and that itself made me more understanding and patient with others.

I am the youngest one in my family and have always been expected to do as well as my brothers or parents by most people, even when choosing very different paths. Now in any activity, like playing league or other competitive games to follow your example, i think of the pushing and insults from other people as cheering now. Some people will always try to screw with you, very seriously at times, out of envy or spite at some point but those always get what they deserve even if it takes a long time.

I hope any of this is helpful for you, and anyone who reads, in some way.
