  1. If I recall correctly, you can catch a Surskit by interacting with the fountain located somewhere in the Peridot Ward on a rainy day.
  2. Talonflame stats are average in everything except speed, however I do think that the potential early access to Gale Wings is something to think about. While I would love to have a a Talonflame early on, the fact that it essentially has priority for Flying-type moves is kinda too good. + Priority anything in my opinion is really good since being able to move before your opponent can be the deciding factor between a win or a loss. - I think the main go to idea for Talonflame would be an offensive attacker using the well proven Brave Bird + Gale Wings, and the argument is that it not as good in-game due the current lack of TM Sword Dance or Bulk Up and even Choice Band. + However its still a base 120 power move that benefits from STAB and gains priority meaning you are likely attacking first unless your opponent just so happens to also use a +1 priority move and is naturally faster than you. + Furthermore Talonflame has access to Roost which mean priority recovery and can also be used as a utility Pokemon since it has priority Tailwind meaning it can help set up for your other Pokemon which can be really helpful especially in those gym leader double battles. Honestly I see more good point about Talonflame than bad, if I had to place Talonflame somewhere, it would not be anywhere before you gain access to Route 1 at least.
  3. Is that so? If I recall correctly the reason he gases the field is because he's mad that Heather found out and ran away. If you have to save the police officer for her to find out, then I'm pretty sure you have to save all the police officers before the Taka/ZEL/Pulse battle, since the scene should occur either right before or after the Taka/ZEL/Pulse battle.
  4. If I recall correctly, I think it depends on whether or not you reveal Corey's identity to Heather which activates the Corrosive Mist Field. If you tell her the truth, you get the mist. If you don't tell her you get the normal Corrosive Field
  5. I don't know if its been mentioned but you can find a Deep Sea Scale in what I believe is Ametrine Mountain.
  6. I see, the it might be best to lead with with Simipour and Drapion. Mainly since Simipour resist Tentecruel water moves and can potentially deal with Nidoqueen, while Drapion is overall bulky so should be able to take some hits and fire back as well. Since Aya does have a Venusaur now, probably keep either Pyroar or Unfezant and switch the other for for either Ampharos or Muk.
  7. IIRC Aya leads with Muk and Tentacruel, so I would probably lead with Donphan and Unfezant. assuming your Unfezant can outspeed the Tentacruel. If it can try going for Air Slash on the Tentacruel and having Donphan use EQ. The best situation would be that Tentacruel flinches in which case you minimize the amount of damage you take in the opening turn, while potentially OHKO her leads. If all works out, you theoretically have an answer to most of her Pokemon, just watch out for the Sludge Waves and Spike/Toxic Spikes. On the case that Unfezant does not outspeed her Tentacruel, might be best to simply lead with Klang and Ampharos (Replace Pyroar since its probably won't be useful in this battle). If you have any Ability Capsules that you can spare on hand, there is also the option to switch their abilities to Minus and Plus respectively just for this battle so they can get a 50% SpAtk boost.
  8. The quote is from the Episode 14.5 Discussion thread. You can also click on the little arrow icon in the upper right corner of any quote to redirect to the quote.
  9. Hmm... for me, I actually no longer have a Electric type on my team, however Pachirisu was actually pretty decent for quite a while (had it in my party up until I got to Agate Circus I think). It didn't sweep or anything but it put in a lot of work as a supporter thanks to Nuzzle and paralyzing the gym leaders Pokemon. Best electric type though? Probably won't go wrong choosing between Eelektross or Magnezone. Galvantula and Jolteon would also be good choices though they are pretty frail.
  10. True, that was a difficult battle, but at that point in the game I had an Aggron with Sturdy and managed to PP stall it to death. Gotta love the Lottery and the plentiful Full Restores I won. =P
  11. Helloooo everyone, I'm AdmiralTowa, you can just call me Towa or Admiral or if you so desire "The Great Overlord of the Universe". Recently began playing Reborn and finished up to the end of episode 14, and goddamn this game hooked me right in partly because of its sheer difficulty (I'm looking at you Solaris and your freaking Lv75 Garchomp, how does it feel losing to a Lv30 Liepard huh?). Anywho... I hope to get along with everyone here and am looking forward to the next episode whenever it gets released.
