  1. Personally, I'd start with Charmander. Reason being because Charmander/Charmeleon learns dragon rage at level 16, which makes for unbelievably easy sweeps of the first couple gyms, which I found to be some of the hardest parts in the game.
  2. That's really nice of you . I'm gonna be out of the house until later today cause I have work, but when I get back I'll send you a message and whenever's convenient for you we can do that! Thank you very much.
  3. While I'd definitely appreciate it, I don't really have anything to trade for any of them. All the same, I appreciate the offer
  4. I'm already familiar with how to get fossils and restore them, I've done it a few times already, but I was wondering if there was an easier/faster way to get them. What I'm currently doing at the moment is just plain annoying - any time I find a mining rock, save, mine, quit, and reload until I eventually find a fossil I haven't already gotten, and the whole thing is incredibly tedious. So I was wondering if A) There's some other way to get them or B ) If there's a renewable crop of rocks some point later in the game than I'm at so that I won't have to worry about doing the whole save-and-quit thing.
  5. I did, I checked the entire island. I just beat Aya and will go back there once I get back home to see if he's there now that I've beaten her. And thanks for the link
  6. My question at the moment is if there are some kind of special conditions for encountering a few of the pokemon that the location guide lists as being obtainable on Azurine Island. I'm just past the plot point of stopping Meteor from destroying Apophyll, and checked the guide to find that I "missed" a total of three pokemon on the island before leaving. Bayleef - Supposedly, after you rescue Cain on the island, there should be a man willing to give you a chikorita/Bayleef if you show him a Chimecho. I combed the island once, with no Chimecho in my party, just hoping to find him so that I could go, level up a chingling, and come back, but never ran across him anywhere. Thinking maybe I had to have the chimecho in my inventory, I evolved my chingling, came back, only to still not be able to find him anywhere on the island. Is there some sort of time or weather related factor to him appearing? I've tried during night and day, and so far during clear/sunny weather. Shelmet/Palpitoad - I just flat out haven't been able to find either of these running through the grass, but the guide doesn't list them as being event pokemon, or as having any time/weather relation. I've run through grass for about 2 and a half hours so far, across various time/weather conditions, and haven't found them. Are they event pokemon after all? Do they just have an absurdly low chance of spawning? Any help's appreciated, I'd really like to get these pokemon before moving on (if possible). Edit: Found a palpitoad. Guess it's just low chance. Still no sign of shelmet or the Bayleef guy though.
  7. Corphish might only be available during the day. I was rock smashing on the beach during night, got about 40-50 encounters, a majority of them binacles, a couple krabby's, never saw a single corphish. Changed to day and first encounter was corphish. May need to look into it a bit more.
  8. Okay, so I read that there's an Emolga in Jasper ward on windy days, I've looked it up, and I can't seem to find any relevant information. The emolga that I'm assuming is the one that's spoken of, hops between two rooftops, but everything I've looked at said it's supposed to be sleeping. Naturally, I waited until night time, figuring it'd tucker itself out eventually and I could actually catch it during the night. However, it simply disappeared, and I'm at a loss for how I'm supposed to get it, could anyone help? (Playing on Episode 14, if it matters)
