  1. When in situations where you're trying to get certain IV/natures/shiny and you need to soft reset and check your party, the fact that the cursor always starts on Pokedex is quite annoying. And who actually uses their Pokedex anyway?

Hence, I suggest that it should be moved BELOW "Exit", since, I'm pretty sure Exit is used even less than Pokedex, and it would still be only 2 buttons away from accessing it. Or perhaps get rid of the Exit and just put the Pokedex there. That way, you'll have a much more direct access to view Party, and soft resetting and checking can be done more efficiently.

  2. If I were a developer, I think I would add more player input during character interaction. I think there's only been two occasions so far, where you get to input your own opinion/voice. I think this would improve the story experience for players and be able to recreate/create their own personality within the game.

  3. As Nick said, Blue Moon Ice Cream is an incredible way to raise happiness. The amount of happiness raised is almost enough to max happiness of a 0-happiness Pokemon.

Where do we get Blue Moon Ice Cream?

  4. Yes. Just like in the main series games made by Gamefreak, walking around with your pokemon increases their happiness. It's just very VERY slow. To increase happiness quicker you can buy friendship berries or vitamins in the department store if you have enough stickers to get up to a high enough floor. You can go to one of the salons as well. Gaining levels is another quick way to increase happiness of your pokemon.

Here's a fairly accurate guide to how to increase happiness.

Which Gen mechanic for Happiness is Pokemon Reborn?

  5. At Apophyll Academy, there's a girl on top of the left wall that says "Study, learn, grow. When you reach zen, come again, and you will surely be rewarded."

I feel like this is a side quest, but unsure. I've talked to each of the students that go over a lesson on meditation, and then talked to that girl again, but no change. Does anybody know anything about this?

  6. She used 5 or 6 Hyper Potions on just the Quagsire.

Also, that type change explains a lot... I was wondering why Crunch wasn't being super effective against Claydol...

Yeah but.. the pure tankiness of that quagsire felt like whittling a boulder with a toothpick...only to have it replaced again...and again...and again....

  7. Some of you may recall a certain Team Meteor Grunt named Simon. After he quits Team Meteor, you can see him again at the Beryl Cemetery and says that you can find him at Peridot at his house. I visited him and he said he wanted to forget everything about Team Meteor except Tara(his partner), but he didn't even know her last name and all that remained of her was at the bottom of Tanzan Lake.

He made a grave for her at the cemetery but with no body, it's incomplete. So, that being said, perhaps we might be able to dive in there (the middle of the lake is has that darker shade, marking it as a divable area) and retrieve the corpse for him in future episodes?

  8. Yo, I'm spark95, 18 years old and freshman in college. Been playing the game for about a month now, and I love the challenge and how dark it can get.

I finished the main story up to Episode 14, but I keep finding new things about other characters and what not and I love it. This is the first forum I've ever visited/participated in, and I like what I see. Hopefully, I'll be a beneficial addition to the community. Glad to meet you all!

  9. I found two today. Both happened at night, but I don't think it would make sense if it happened at any other time.

    1. (Not a Pokemon) In Beryl, there was a mansion where you could temporarily heal. Also where you found the Growlithe and the policeman. If you go there at night, there will be a bunch of Gothita and a Gothitelle. Talk to the Gothitelle, and if you clean the mansion, you get a Soul Candle.

    2. In Beryl Cemetary, there's a southern extension of the cemetary that has a tombstone that contains a Shuppet if you talk to it. It will attack, battle, capture.
