Ranga woke from the dream in a befuddled daze. Her eyes were sore and the pillow wet with tears. She wasn't one to scream in her sleep. She just found it really sad.
Luckily, the doctor was there to greet them in the morning the same as every day. The doctor was as nice as Ranga could wish. She was the one thing keeping Ranga from feeling completely exposed in this new world. In a way, the doctor's presence gave her reassurance and safety. She knew that she could rely on the routine of waking up and meeting the woman once again all over again...
"Asuka, is your head fine? She crawled out of bed and over to Asuka's, placing a hand over at the redhead's...well head. "Did you have a bad dream too? Could it be from the Angels..?" Ranga's face was awash with worry as she gave a light, exhasperated sigh. She smiled at the doctor though. "I'll have some eggs for breakfast!"

Zeta shakes her head. "It's already calmed down. I think it's about balance-! You helped fix the balance already."
"You know, she's right. We've gotta defeat the Cores now to calm them down. Of course they don't teach you that in prep-school because emergences are rare events, but this is how it's done."
Uno nods. "Karla. The Tree will heal me when we defeat it. It will be used to heal many who ail. We have to do it."

"O-ooooh!" Klaren placed a bloodied hand on his lips, stepping to the side to let Mr. Mercer take a shot over at the target. Tome behind his back, he swayed in place with an expression of pure joy beaming on his face.
"Thanksies, Mr. Mercer new guy~" He says with a giggle. "I'll finish this one for you!"

Observing the scene. It wasn't a nice scene. There wasn't much more to say. He could grant a sideways glance at Cadence's response but he didn't feel the need to verbally state his own.
It was easier to put it into music anyways and he was going to try his best to play well this time around, especially after the fiasco last time.
"Oi ponytail, baton's all yours." He gave a thumbs up to Rayne before sweeping the guitar off his back.

Jet is unable to sense anything from the Tree. However, the two Shards that make up the Core of the Nexus both exhude a powerful aura, each of their own. Quina is able to sense it as well.

Almost like a cry for help, frozen in a static moment within the energy that flows through #08.
Ante, running up towards the Tree, finds himself unsure of which Shard to target...instead the feline rams into the Tree.

A moment passes when nothing happens. Betani looks over her shoulder at Radovan before pushing him away and standing up on her own. She dusts her skirt off before looking at the Tree angrily. "Aaaaaaaagh, now I can't do anything about it! And I can't reach Nee..." She looks over at Kai. "What's going on is that this Nexus is functioning on an irregular Core. It seems to be two Cores merged together. The merging must've occured a long time ago. Shards of both of the Cores are probably strewn across the Nexus. And now we've brought one of them over to its Core. It's like magnets. It got sucked in. I can't know the exact principles on the energies within the two Cores so I can't explain much further." Uno looks over at Kai as well. "Karla, everyone, there's no use hiding my motives from you. I'm here to heal my body. That is all I know." She nods with determination in her eyes before focusing on the Tree again.
"It's coming-"
The Pixie Core begins glowing a radiant spectrum of color. Iridescent lights flash around it as energy is being gathered...

Broughton rushed the Tree but Kai and her were both being careless. As the crab approached, readying her fist, the winds around the Tree flared fiercely, cutting through even the droplets of water pouring down.

The Tree looms above the girl and the crustacean, giving off a maleficent violet hue.

Lampy is struck hard as well. The wind blowing him and sweeping Uno off her feet. She and her Pokemon both yelp in pain. Lampy looks seriously beat up.
And to top it all off, the energy draining effect persists...

Uno gets back on her feet after a moment of deliberation. Lampy jumps down from her arms and looks up at her with determination in his eyes. His lanters flicker several times. Their determination and wish to acquire the Tree's power is mutual.
"Lampy, it's lowered its guard. L-let's go with Electro Ball!"
Lampy nods and starts gathering electrical energy, firing it from the ground at the Tree in the distance.

Something aside from electricity provides the charge for Lampy's attack. It's the will to assist Uno. And, as it strikes the Tree of Life, all the energy is released at once, forming a bright explosion which envelops it completely. Stone grinding against stone can be heard from the light.

As the light dissipates, electrical discharge still in the air, the Tree's branches are cracking. However, the Core is still intact. Apparently, it had moved to protect its most vital segment.

What Kai and Kalva find by observing the environment is nothing of note. The water seems to be accumulating on the floor. A light emanates from a hole above and they notice someone climbing down from there.
The crystals in the large chamber resonate the same violet hue the Tree does.
[Cathode, Clarence & Shelly enter the scene]
Cathode's body is pulled down by the weight pressing down as she approaches the Tree. The shift is gravity is intense and momentary, forcing her to succumb and thumble to her knees.
[Betani, Emm, Zeta and Radovan enter the scene]
The climb downwards is difficult although surprisingly the rock formations and crystals are relatively dry, providing ample grip for the descent. The group make their way down just in time to see the flash of electricity by Lampy's attack strike what appears to be a giant tree in the middle of the chamber.
They descend to the bottom of the chamber where the battle is in wake and Betani runs up, flinching as the Gravity grips her body as well.
"Gggh, is that the Core!?" She pulls her A-Comm out. "It's-it's formed of two Shards. Broken up...but that would mean..." Suddenly, Betani's eyes flicker as her A-Comm breaks apart in her hands. She lets out a confused and scared yelp, falling backwards. What's left of the machine is the Pixie Shard the group picked up earlier...
The Pixie Shard flies directly towards the Core, defying the Gravity, as if pulled by a magnetic force.
It slams into the Core and light fills the chamber.
[8th Aspect has shifted]
The struggle between life and death pressing down upon everyone in the chamber suddenly disappears, and what's left behind is a soothing warmth emanating from somewhere deep within their bodies.

"Well they either appeared from a Nexus that merged with this one or someone brought them and lost them. There've been lotsa people goin' through here yesterday during the rescue attempts. And well...my collection too..." Terry lets out a sigh and returns the Mechamon to Cathode. "You gotta keep 'em safe now. They are more than just toys." He adds with a nod.

Terry smiled at Cathode when she started typing on the A-Comm to communicate. He was also clearly overjoyed to be holding the P-AZ Mechamon in his hands. He held it close to his eye, examining every nook and cranny with precision and sensibility unbecoming of his large fingers and hands. "These two are good too. That Exeggutor was part of the #04 line of Mechamon. The Gabite isn't seasonal but is still one of the relatively rare figures. I got only four."
The excitement from examining the Mechamon quickly died out when he figured Cathode asked about the Shard too. "It's a Splash Shard we've encountered with the Wailord. It merged with the Nexus. I'm stuck here now with it, so make sure you call someone to come pick me up when ya get back up."

"What?" Terry replies, holding a hand to his ear and leaning towards Cathode as he sat. "I'm sorry but I still can't hear ya. I can't hear anythin. Watch out with these crystals. They seem to reflect attacks somehow."
He raised an eyebrow tho when she retrieved the P-AZ mechamon from the A-Comm. Cathode can't really see clear enough in the bright light but a blush seems to appear on Terry's face as he observes the toy.
"O-oh. That looks like the new security program over at the HQ...I had no idea they made a Mechamon for it...it must be one of a kind...
You mind...if I...may I...touch it?"

Radovan catches up with Emmanuel and the girls. Zeta happily greets him with a smile while Betani walks over to Emmanuel.
Emmanuel himself easily finds a pebble and tosses it down the well. It resounds against the stones over and over again...there must be naturally formed stone stairs leading down.
"Good enough for me." Betani says with a shrug, preparing to climb into the well.
"Hey Radovan! The Well dried up but Betani and Emm think we can climb in and go down!" Zeta runs up to Radovan and starts pulling him over to the Well. "Ah, Betani, w-wait we're going too, right?" Zeta addresses both Emm and Radovan, urging them towards the Well.

Verna tries to blow the wind at the Tree of Life using Gust, but as she readies her wings, she suddenly realizes there is an extreme sense of weight pressing down upon her from above. Not only that, but her energy seems to be dwindling...
It must be the effect from the Tree. More specifically, the move Gravity. It's why the water is pouring upon you as well instead of flowing upwards. Verna cannot stay ariborne anymore.
[Verna is grounded]
Uno follows Kai and gazes upon the Tree. "It's the Tree of Life! I-L-Lampy, let's go..." Lampy nods and runs up to join the fight.

Cathode, Shelly and Clarence make their way towards the hole. Shelly follows Cathode down and they encounter a befuddled Terry who waves his hands to greet them in a brightly lit crystalline chamber, holding what appears to be a Blue Shard in his hand, sitting cross legged on the ground.
"Heya your friends went that way. Don't worry about me." The large man says, smiling and pointing at a hole in the wall over at the other side of the chamber. "Clarence you watch over them ok?"

Ranga nodded happily and followed Asuka towards the room and Beverly. She took her own plate with herself and sat next to the other two girls while still eating. "I don't really know what's happening." The girl said, turning towards the door in her seat and trying to listen in on what was going on. Did the doctor tell them to bring the food to Beverly so that she could get the other two alone for a moment? "Maybe we shouldn't pry."

"It's cold here~ ..." Klaren said as he ruffled the sleeves on his robes. Still without the cape Rosalyva'd promised him...
"And the princess is sick...a-achoo..."
"I-I'll go deal with the horsemen there..."

Terry looks at Kai confusedly. "I can't hear what you're saying!" He shouts, putting a finger into his ear to try and clear it out. "Anyways thanks for helping them!"
Uno walks by him, eyeing him carefully, at which he just crosses his arms, snorts, and sits back down.
Kai and Uno proceed into the next chamber and...in a moment...they're already wet from head to toe.
[Kai's reconvened with Taylor and Sena]
Before the Tree of Life stands another child.
[Kai has taken Kalva's place in the battle]
[Uno joined the battle as NPC support]
Taylor, Sena and Kai need to summon their Pokemon.

"I'll be coming with Betani too! Sorry, Cathode, but that Absol... I want to know what it wanted." Zeta says with an unsure voice. Betani looks at her and Emmanuel and flicks her hair.
"I can't stop you from coming with me. Let's just move, then."
[Zeta, Betani and Emmanuel move to exit the dungeon]
Meanwhile, Cathode leads the way towards Kai. Whoever wants to join her can do so.

"..."
Betani leads the way silently, with only her footsteps carrying the weight of her motion.
Zeta seems nervous and sticks close to Emmanuel as they walk. She glances around often, most likely expecting the Absol. Emm can't read fear in her eyes, though. It's something else. Something more complicated.
Either way, Absol doesn't appear and the trio make their way to the steps leading up. Emm's A-Comm displays a new map.
The red dot marks their location. They seem to have emerged outside of the marked map. However, Emmanuel can conclude they came out from a hole beneath the rock formation Suzie was trying to carve a path towards earlier. What changed, however, are the trees. They've all crystallized now. The Beedrill area is completely barren of life. However, that also means that the path to the Wishing Well is cleared as well.
Betani shakes her head.
"Damn Uno. She disturbed the place by messing with the Shard. Well, whatever, we'll go to the place you marked on the map on your last visit. This seems to be the only way to reach it."
And true she was. The cocoon formed by the trees around the Wishing Well wasn't gone. It was just petrified and crystallized. Light poured from the crystals. It felt almost like the group was still underground.
"Let's go."
Betani leads the way to the Wishing Well.
The party arrives at the Well. No water is coming out of it. It's dried. But you can still hear water from beneath the ground. Dripping...like rain.
"Oh no! The Well!" Zeta exclaims worriedly, grabbing hold of the well's side, at which Betani pushes her aside to get a better look inside.
"What's going on here-?" She says. If Emm was to go have a look, he'd see a bright purple light shining from within the well...
[Enter the Well?]

"O-oh? You'll carry me? Well, all right then..."
Uno blushes slightly, her pale skin showing at least some semblance of a coloration. Kai picks Uno up and starts their descent. As the two girls fit through the hole, the last sight that catches Kai's eye is an Absol observing them from above...
Before they arrive at a brightly lit chamber. Kai jumps down from the hole down to the chamber's floor. It's a small fall, nothing much. Uno, stepping onto the ground, looks around and quickly points towards Terry, who seems to be sitting in the middle of the chamber, legs crossed.
"K-kai, who's that man?" She asks. Terry doesn't react initially. Only after opening his eyes to peek through does he stand up and run over to the girls. "You! Kalva, Taylor and Sena have all went ahead. I couldn't follow them. You need to go after them!" He says, pointing at what appears to be a crack between two crystals in one of the chamber's walls.

The Tree of Life seems to pulsate at Taylor's and Sena's words. The two boys feel the pressure from their bodies disappearing momentarily. They feel normal, but then...
The Shard begins to glow a purple hue. The Tree's composition changes, its petrified body growing darker as the water from beneath courses through its veins. It's a Cocoon. A Vessel.
A Vessel of Death.

The Tree of Life has been challenged. Protector of Death. Life's captor.
Faced with the most difficult choice. Lingering between the two. Which way will the libra sway?

[Emm's call gets through to Kai. Her A-Comm buzzes.]

"Oh!" Uno places a hand on her lips when Kai mentioned her mother calling her that something as well. She seemed distressed when she spoke up again. "H-how do you deal with her telling you that?" She asked in genuine curiosity and good will. "Is-is it ok for us to leave, though?" She quivered when Kai started to move to leave. However, she wouldn't stay behind on her own, so she followed after Kai, feet slapping the water's surface.
It would take the girls a while to get to their destination and once they arrived, they found themselves in what appeared to be a craggy downhill climb towards what appeared to be a hole in the depths. They couldn't discern much more because the only lightsource was Lampy's lanterns. The climb down wouldn't be easy. The sides of the chamber were littered with broken off crystals, leaving sharp grips to use as a way down and a bright light shone from below. Kai could maybe make it, but Uno...
"U-uhm...Kai...I don't think I can climb down there..."

As Clarence nods to Cathode and raises his little arms, releasing the soft and warm pulse at the Shard, the energy suddenly dissipates, absorbed by the Shard. However, Clarence falls too.
[Clarence seems exhausted. Nothing happened with the Shard.]
Radovan poking the Shard only causes severe pain to shoot through his finger and a dull pain to throb in his hand and forearm. He would feel the warmth being pulled from his finger, circulation stopping at a halfway point to the joint connecting the finger to the hand. The feeling and numbness and pain and circulation all subside/return to normal, when he pulls the finger back.
As Emmanuel envisions the Shard oozing life, Zeta walks up to him and holds her hands together, closing her eyes as well. She focuses on the Shard. Betani looks at the two and frowns. The Sableye joins them, though. Radovan's simple sentence is of help as well.
"All the Star Pieces respond to the will of beings born of them. Father told me about this." Zeta whispers.
"The Sableye's will was strong as well, but they lost hope for their home...I've never lost my home. I can't imagine what it would feel like...that's why, that's why they probably didn't leave. There's so much more to experience outside this world. I learned that. But they never knew it...I'm sorry, Lumi...I never realized..." A tear falls to the ground and the Shard starts glowing a pink radiance, carried by the wills of the few people present who were willing. Water starts spilling from it. But it's different from the water in the mines. This water is cold instead of warm. It puts the body on edge, making it pump blood harder and faster. It wakes you up. And it wakes the Sableye up. One by one, they raise to their feet. Clarence does the same. And the Shard.
The Sableye that lead you here cackles softly, picking the Shard up. It carries it to Emmanuel and offers it as a gift.

The crew makes their way through the crevice as Betani looks at Emmanuel, stopping in her tracks. "Do I have to remind you I'm still your superior?" She grits the words through clenched teeth. However, she does stay put, hands crossed and foot tapping. She seems to ponder something momentarily before letting out a frustrated growl and walking after the crew and into the crevice.
Uno looks at Kai and smiles. "I would appreciate your stay. Thank you." She says before looking down. A moment passes before she speaks again. "My mother never raised me to be tall. She raised me to be her doll." She says quietly.

The ones that have gone with the Sableye walk out into a smaller chamber. What's shocking, however, is that the chamber is chock full of collapsed Sableye. The Sableye leading them there stops in the middle of the chamber. Behind it, sticking from the groun, shines a shard...
It looks at the party, then down. Then at the collapsed Sableye. You notice that the crystals in this chamber have a lot less shine to them. It's like the shard is sucking the energy out of them...and the Sableye.
In the other side of the chamber, there's a pile of shineless crystals and some knocked out Pokemon. Several empty Carbink shells litter the floor as well, collapsed Sableye next to them.
The Sableye who's led you there reaches for the Shard but its arm twitches in pain when approaching it...
This must've been a Sableye nest, long long ago. The Sableye were drained by the Shard, there's no other conclusion. And that's why they had to scavenge even for other Pokemon to consume in order to stay alive. If you could remove the Shard, you could probably save them. And...Absol must've sent you here for a reason. This Shard may be pivotal later.
Betani walks through the crevice and into the chamber. "Move!" She yells at you and walks over to the Shard. She reaches out to grab it but pulls her hand back with a yelp of pain. "What the-" She screams, then starts glaring at the Sableye. "Where did you lead us, you little-" She yells, but Zeta grabs her hand from behind.
"Neither you nor Lumi ever told me about this...I could've helped...this...this is no different than a Star Piece. You need to only wish upon it. Truly wish upon. Do not wish it gone...wish life from it. That's enough." She says as she shines a smile at the Sableye.
The Sableye's gem eyes sparkle. You need to wish as well. Wish for the Shard to turn on and reveal its true purpose. For it is still slumbering.

KALVA, TAYLOR & SENA
You leave Terry behind and proceed into the next room. The light. The light is even more blinding here. But a sole ray of light breaks apart the glow of the crystals, coming from a spring above. It falls upon a tree-like structure in the middle of the room. It is...a petrified tree. Behind it, as if in the grasp of its craggy two branches, float two separate Shards, broken and melded together.
The water in this wide chamber flows upwards, originating from what appears to be a petrified tree in the middle of the chamber. There's none of it on the actual floor. The tree secretes it all. The water flows to the spring above, welling up and flowing into this world.

Music: A World's Core
Immense pressure falls upon you. You cannot..you cannot withstand the Tree's energy. It seems to instantly drain you of any semblance of life and energy, while simultaneously forcing you to stay in your senses. Your body is torn between Life and Death, as the two Shards are as well.
What can you do now? Walking towards the tree feels like such a chore. Leaving it behind feels wrong. You can...you can save this world, right? Break the bindings of Life and Death from it and return the rightful balance...
The two Shards are sleeping. The Core they form is unnatural. The two must be complete. Worse yet...one of the Shards is larger than the other. It may have been a full core that merged with the other Shard and broke off. Regardless, the larger Shard might come to consume the smaller eventually. You get a feeling though...were that to happen, this world would vanish within a crystalline shell. Nothing would breathe anymore. Nothing would be anymore.
The world will die if you don't do something.
Your hearing seems to have returned under the influence of the Tree. Moreover, its energy seems to restore your body to its peak condition. You are aware, however, that the condition of your body is not at its peak. it's the toxins in the air, released by the Tree, released into the water as well.
You'll die as well if you don't do something.

"Well that's no fun at all!" Cass replied to Darius with a shrug, finishing the piece with a couple unplanned and untuned...well tunes, born from displeasure. The good part was they'd prolly bother the dark mage as well. Heh. The guy just didn't get it, but all right, all right. OBVIOUSLY not everyone was cut out for music. However, it did annoy him, just a tiny little HUGE BIT that these so-called 'elder spirits' didn't find anything in his music alluring or mystifying or elderly? Ancient, a better word. Yeah it bothered him and he eyed the dark mages's tomes as they ascended the stairs, holding his guitar close to his lips so he could whisper to it how bad these evil books were.
Come to think of it, his guitar's magic came from anima in a way. Or did it? Interesting question...
Maybe that's why Darius's spirit buddies didn't get it? Maybe yes and maybe not. Maybe Darius was the problem. If he wanted to get through to the elders, he'd have to get through to Darius as well. And that would call for extensive planning and research. Darius seemed like a troublesome type for music, honestly. If Cass had to guess he'd have guessed Darius didn't particularly like any music at all or just really quiet music that would help him concentrate in silence or something. Could his guitar do that? Playing the whistle also wasn't really what one would call quiet or mentally-inspiring. Sheesh.
Then something more natural? but that was anima too, goshdarnit. It was just making his head hurt from all the stress and now all this thinking.
As they arrived up into the beautiful clear skies, Cass stretched his arms out and took a deep breath.
"Well that was more than enough shitholes for this week." He said to no one in particular. He didn't have to say it to anyone as he only really cared about being outside again. Idei probably felt the same way but Cass didn't feel like talking or...er-thinking anymore for now. He followed the rest towards the docks, pulling on the strings from time to time to create some form of background music to accompany their steps. It was a deep undertone, unelectrified for the most part, like a romantic's guitar. He played as he held his partner close to the side of his face, gently laid against his cheek and embraced by his arms. How else to celebrate the reunion of him and the lovely guitar itself?
The pirate kid having a mother was a fun concurrence as well. As they talked, Cass sat on the side and relaxed, breathing the sea breeze in and out. He placed the guitar to his side and enjoyed the moment in peace and quiet.

Zeta laughed as Kai hugged her and started spinning her around. It was kinda difficult for her to keep up with Kai's vigorous spinning that she nearly tripped a couple times. A beaming smile still shone on her face as she stood in front of Kai and let her keep her hands on her.
"Mhm, it's one of Lumi's friends so it's also our friend, I think..? He seems to be worried..."
Betani turns to Cathode and shrugs. "I'll give you a Revive. It's my last one, though. The rest should be with Terrence. If you need more, contact him." She says as she throws a Revive in Cathode's direction.
[Cathode received a Revive!]
"My name IS Betani, though. I don't like the 'mrs' though. I'm not married. Refer to me as Miss."
"Uh, Betani...I thought she was talking to me." Uno cuts in, raising her hand.
"What!?" Betani's face reddens a bit and her eyes dart from left to right. "O-oh, I see...that actually makes sense."
Uno nods and smiles at Cathode. Even her smile seems frail. "My name is Unoppiae. I got involved with your friends to help me find the Tree of Life. Pleased to meet you."
She then turns to the rest of the group and the Sableye. "And you guys just let a Pokemon prevent you from passing through? Why didn't you just fight it and beat the Absol? Don't tell me you believe in that 'disaster' nonsense???" Betani shakes her head. "If you wanna waste time, be my guests. I'm gonna go check this Absol out." If not stopped, Betani starts walking towards the direction Emmanuel explained. Uno seems to not be sure what to do for now, so she just stands there.
The threatened Sableye looks at Radovan. Then at Emmanuel. Its body twitches at what Emmanuel says. However...when Cathode releases the other Sableye, the two glance at each other in a seeming greeting. They cackle for a few moments before the wild Sableye retreats into the crack. Radovan's Sableye looks at the Cadets and gestures with an arm to follow before walking into the crack.
The opening between the crystals seems large enough to comfortably pass through. Blowing up the path probably wasn't necessary. The only one who'd have any trouble passing through is Uno because of her weakness and height. Everyone else could pass normally.
Anyways someone should probably stay with Uno.

The Absol nods and urges the group towards the corridors. It follows the group to Corridor 19 before nodding in its direction and retreating back down Corridor 20 to continue barring the way through.
The group follows Corridor 19 up to a right turn.

The group goes down Corridor 14. In the corners of his eyes, Frederick can notice some shifting shadows, but the effect is disregardable and attributable to the natural lighting of the cave. Soon, they come to meet Cathode, Emmanuel, Radovan and Zeta.
[The two groups have merged!]
Zeta runs up to Kai, smiling. "Kai, it's you guys!" She laughs.
In the small chamber they find themselves in, though, the Cadets notice a small indent between two crystals in the South-Western corner. Checking it out, they are met with a surprising sight..
A cackle is heard from behind the group. As they turn, they find the other Sableye leering at them. It doesn't seem to want them to enter the hole. However, its demeanor is more frightened and panicked than outright aggressive. It stares at the group intently...

"Huh, well, sure." Cass shrugged at Cadence before playing a set of particularly electrified tunes. A short sort of metallic set, nearly scraping, to be honest, but music nonetheless. Silent enough not to echo through the halls but loud enough to still have a pounding impact.
He proceeded to run after Darius. "Elder spirits still not diggin' the music, eh?" He asked as he played the tune again.

"Oi, lady boss!" Cass waved at Cade, running up to her and prepping his guitar. "Iunno what kinda music ya prefer. Any wishes? Wouldn't wanna, y'know, piss ya off and find myself on the wrong end of that sword. Heheh." He was mocking around, of course. To an extent.

Zeta takes a step back at Cathode's request. As she does so, the Absol's head snaps towards the two girls, glaring at them. Cathode can't tell whether there's any malice in that unnerving stare, but it sends chills down her spine nonetheless. She feels as though the Pokemon could so easily tear through her body if it decided it wanted to go after Zeta.
The Absol, however, seems taken aback by Emmanuel's proposal. It turns towards the young boy and nods. It stares down the corridor the party came from, apparently waiting for them to go that way. It probably wasn't going to move until they were all back in corridor 20. With Radovan around it wanted to make sure none of the kids would attempt to trick it.

"I apologize deeply...I'll restrain myself from now on..." Uno whispers silently, shifting into a sitting position. She then pushes herself up to her feet and dusts her dress off. She smiles at Lampy who comes jumping into her arms.
"Let's move forward, then. Nothing to see here anymore." Betani's voice is harsh as always. She starts walking towards the chamber's exit at Corridor 12.

Music: Something Wrong
The Absol looks at Cathode and shakes its head. It then lowers its head downwards as if pointing at something beneath the Crystal Mines. It continues staring intently at the party until Radovan interrupts it by stepping closer. The hairs on the Pokemon's back suddenly stand on end. It starts growling at Radovan. It doesn't seem to be willing to let the party through under any circumstances. Its eyes however, continuously drift over to glance at Zeta every once in a while. Every time Absol did so, its eyes gleam barely visibly. Sableye notices this and stands in front of the young girl.
"Sableye..." Zeta responds, looking down at the Pokemon protecting her. It was Lumi's friend and Zeta was Lumi's friend as well. As much as the Sableye could play pranks on people for the fun of it, Zeta was still someone to be protected. Besides, those who perished in this world had a fate much worse than death waiting for them.

Responding prompty, the Tree's Branches release the Dread Core from the safety of their embrace. The Dread Core, shining brightly as the Pixie Core, flies up as shadowy wings start gathering in the form of energy around them. Closing in an instant, the dark wings converge upon the unsuspecting Lampy, turning blood crimson. Uno screams in pain as the blast catches her as well. For a moment, everything is bright. As it settles, you can see Uno and Lampy laying unconcious on the ground. Lampy appears badly injured. However, Uno only appears to have passed out.
"Damnit, Uno-" Betani grinds her teeth, but in the end, it's Zeta who steps forward. In fact, she runs to stand between Uno and the Tree.
"G-guys, your Pokemon can gain power by being near me- I-I don't have Murky with me right now but I'll support you all the same-!" Along with her, however, arrives Clarence. Noticing the Clefairy, Zeta smiles joyfully. "Mr. Clarence, you'll fight with me? Then all right-! Let's go!"
