    Why the hell is Water Bubble even a thing? That ability's like Water Veil, Heatproof, and a stronger version of Torrent all rolled into one without any drawbacks whatever. This is pretty much power creep in action.

      Because a pokemon is the combination of stats, abilities ,moves,... . So giving better abilties is perfectly fine, by compensating on the other parts.

      Araquanid still has Water Absorb as another ability, and it's stats make it a pretty decent special wall and it's movepoll isn't that shabby either.

    M. Ray. Banned from Ubers. I honestly though Pokemon didn't have this Power Creep problems until now.

      I think Ubers has basically become a tier now...I mean Mega Gengar was banned from there first. SO there is now a Ban List for things that are too good for the Ban List.

      Supposedly now there's an Anything Goes meta above Ubers where there's pretty much no restrictions whatsoever barring the Endless Battle Clause.
