  1. Christ I haven't checked this thread in a while

Yeah, I really think you should get a team for this. Then all you have to do is approve whatever they make, or suggest changes if you dislike them. Great job. Now, on to more immediate topics: how bout spriting that new Zygarde? Sounds like hell. What do you think the ETA is on ep16?

  2. Glad to hear that you're enjoying the game! It really is pretty fun, and hard for people who aren't used to the lack of OP pokemon.

I recommend keeping Grotle/Torterra for a while. I still have mine (finished ep15) and it still eats souls. I had a Stoutland too, but it was replaced eventually. Still a solid pokemon, so I say go for it. But yeah, you'll do a lot of team shuffling over the next few gyms. Try to catch as many pokes as you can, so that if you come across a gym you aren't prepared for, you have mons you can train up to help. Good luck!

  3. Donna was unlike the others. She didn't feel the cold, or rather, it didn't bother her. She had felt cold that was far, far worse than this. The icy touch of a dead man's hands. The shiver she felt when she looked at a body. The chill of the handle of the shovel she used to dig her own husband's grave in the freezing January air. No, she was no stranger to cold. She hid her heart in a block of ice. It took the pain away. But she hated it. She hated all of it. She hated the cold grips of death's claws, and she was determined to end it once and for all.

"No one else will die. No one else will get hurt. No one else will be lain to waste. Not if- when I succeed." She whispered to herself.

Can you handle this circle, that which makes even what should be the most reliable of things turn treacherous?

Abandon all hope, trust no one and nothing.

But wasn't it trust that carried her thus far? Could she really be so heartless to completely cut herself off from others? She was not selfish, not anti-social, just shy and quiet. Yet it was well known that the quiet one's are the most deadly. The maze thus far had more than it's fair share of tricks and deceit, how did she know this wasn't just another one of those? No. She would continue to rely on others, until it was time for her to forge her own path. She ran into the maze, thinking

"It'll do me no good to just stand around here wasting time. I have lives to save, and nothing on earth will stop me."

But unfortunately for her, this was no longer earth...

  4. Never underestimate Walrein. That thing has helped me through every gym since it was available. Looking at you, Charlotte. Rock types are useful too, and in abundance in the route 2& 3 areas. Seeing as you made it this far, the game sort of expects you to know what to do. That said, there are options if you know where to look, and have the patience to grind them up a bit. You can't really fault the game if you didn't catch enough pokemon of variety... And it would be a huge plot hole if you could just go back through Agate.

    Best of luck!

  5. Btw, EQ WON'T COLLAPSE NO CEILING, IT'S THE ROCKY FIELD!!! EQ does mixed Ground-Rock damage there, and Rock is double resisted by Steelix.

Damn it Ame! You made an underground cavern have a rocky field? In that case, spam special Fire moves and pray that it doesn't have earthquake. Or doesn't use it. If you have any moves to decrease defense, special defense or any status moves, use those to help.

  6. I dont know if trying to seduce Steelix would work. Unless it's anime, but we all know how that would go.

The murkrow thing is good for seemingly impossible fights, as is anything with Destiny Bond or Perish song.

I don't know why earthquake isn't super-effective, but if you use it twice in a cave field, it'll collapse the ceiling and instantly knock out every pokemon on the field, so try that.

  7. Yes, I do believe in God. Specifically, I am a Christ-follower, meaning I believe in the triune God that is the Father (Yahweh; God.), His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. All three in one, one in three.

    ---

I hold belief in Jesus is entirely faith based, but if you want "commandments" there are only two of them that are deemed most important. "Love the Lord your God, and love others as yourself." - I hold that loving God means being aware of our sinful nature and making a concerted effort to atone - and that loving others means being quick to be self-less and instead try to help humanity prosper, while making others aware of the reality that is our sin so that they too can fight against it. I hold that all interactions must be between God and the believer, meaning things like forced conversion and coercing Christ are ineffective so much as simply going out and following Jesus' request to make disciples through exalting the good news of our undeserved forgiveness. Ultimately - the "guideline" if you will is simply believe.

    ---

I believe the true meaning of "Religion" is best applicable to what is usually the second meaning of the word found in most reputable dictionaries, being a SYSTEM of faith and worship. - and my opinion of the Christian "religion" varies depending on the area. In America for example, the Christian "religion" is FAR from ideal - whereas over seas in unfriendly areas such as Vietnam believers - even under watchful eye of their government - have it down perfectly. It should be noted in this section that I don't worship religion. I worship Jesus Christ.

    ---

The is no problem with having a singular God so long as you are following Him (and if you are NOT following Him than the issue would be that you are not agreeable with Him.) The larger issue than lack of agreement is posited in other two scenarios. In the instances where there is no God or there are many Gods everything is subjective to individual taste. While this may sound like a nice and fluffy thing to have in some arenas, one cannot justifiably have a justice system in place if the rules are subjective and the defendant can hold that according to his subjectivity he wasn't breaking the law. Also, multiple Gods tend to grapple for power and control in the lives of their followers and lead to contradictions. Contradictory faith and subjectivity are the biggest looming issues in non/polytheistic scenarios. You have to know WHAT you believe in -AND- know it to be consistent to the world around you.

    ---

I see myself as one of God's vessels, which would be lower on the totem pole than God Himself. The cool thing though, is that He came down to my level and died so that one day I could ascend as He did regardless of current positioning. No other religion advocates this model.

    ---

With Christianity, the cornerstone of ANYONE's faith is the real-life historicity of the Resurrection. If you can definitively prove Jesus didn't rise from the dead, you prove Christians are fools.

"And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain." - Paul, 1st Corinthians 15:14

    What she said.
  8. This forum and it's touchy subjects...

I believe in God, yes. I am a Christian. I read the Bible (probably not as much as I should), go to church on Sundays (and this youth group on Wednesdays). So yeah, that's me. All I ask is that you respect my beliefs. In return, I'll respect yours. Let's leave it at that.

  9. It's more back to the whole 'one for each section' thing.

Celebi or Shaymin for the forest, Diancie for the mountains, Manaphy for the oceans and Hoopa for the spirit wasteland. Depends on the gym leader. Some will definitely be important like Rochelle giving you a Mega Ring, but I don't see the likes of Hermit or Ezel, sorry LORD Ezel, being too important. P.S. For Erebus the Dark Leader (yeah remember him), instead of him learning from the previous Dark leader, why not have the Dark/Ghost elite four member? The Elite Four are themed as one for each section (for example, one based on Grass, Bug and Poison for the forest). Why not have the Dark/Ghost Elite Four (Let's call him Axxel ;)) used to be the Dark leader before being promoted. Just an idea.

I think mine is semi important.

Anyways, Diancie sounds like a good idea, and it would give screen time to Rochelle... Also gathering spirit wasteland music, so expect those sometime soon. Maybe tonight if I have time.
