    So.

Bride!Cordelia - if you pull her - is a very good pull and outclasses 4xSetsuna and Tacomeme as an Archer with skill inheritance.

    How so?

She has marginally better ATK but you want +SPD for both of these I'd say they're pretty evenly matched.

If anything, Bride!Cordelia's lower defense makes her even more prone to getting killed by literally any non-mage/healer in the game especially if you plan on running Life and Death 3. But that's still the same exact problem Quadsuna has anyways.

The only benefits I see to getting Bride!Cordelia are:

    A. She's Cordelia

    B. She already is 5* so don't need to drop a ton feathers to promote a Setsuna from 3* or 4*

    C. She's fucking Cordelia.

  2. If it really hurts you to see her be with somebody else then by all means, drop it. It already seems her attention towards you is dwindling.

If you keep trying to find love where there isn't any then you'll just end up becoming a stalker and that is the absolute last thing you want your relationship to become.

I suggest trying to find somebody else to make up for this loss. Obligatory "There are plenty of fish in the sea." quote.

Do keep some standards though. You don't want to be so desperate for love and affection that you end up with somebody who'll just use you.

  3. My advice would be to completely forget about it.

You did good out there helping her out but as for many things in life, you won't always get something out of it.

I feel if you really hold this over yourself it could potentially keep you from helping other people out because you will fear that your efforts will go unrewarded so to speak.

Doing things to help others builds your personality and who knows, maybe somebody will take notice.

I rolled a Mae. Is she any good? I don't really see her replacing Linde. As it is, I just happen to have a lvl 37 Shanna for the arena bonus.

    Looks pretty good to me.

Blarowl sounds like an actually useful tome especially when you have good support units.

With Desperation 3 you really can't go wrong with her except against physical units.

I really want to get Buoy but seeing the new banner has units with Brave Bow+ and Brave Axe+ that I need for Quadsuna and Cherche I probably won't be able to roll for him :(

  5. Yeah I gotta agree with the others here.

It really depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Like if I just need something to binge or listen to as I play a video game I'll just throw on some Marvel movie. Not saying they're bad movies that require no effort to watch but you certainly don't need to be paying super close attention to the plot in order to understand it.

The really thought-provoking movies/shows will demand a second, third or even fourth time watching. I remember when I first saw Inception I had no clue what the fuck was going on but then after like the third time I watched the movie I think I finally figured out the plot and thought it was amazing.

Now there are stuff that I won't touch like ecchi anime that appeal to the lowest level of fan-service. I'm just going to come out and say it: Why not just go the extra mile and just watch some actual porn instead? The plot probably isn't any better and at least they don't cocktease you throughout the entire show.

With that out of the way, when it comes to games I would like there to be a fair balance between gameplay and story.

Series like Metal Gear and Persona really excel at melding the two together although to be fair, Metal Gear Solid V: TPP really botched the story aspect of the game with that half-assed ending.

Of course, you can have games like Telltale's The Walking Dead where its a lot more narrative driven and still be fun as hell and on the other side of the spectrum, games like Starbound where you can just explore the universe while building huge crazy bases and killing shit without the story holding your hand along the way.

It just has to be good at one thing or the other or in the best case scenario, be great at both.

  6. Yeah I definitely preferring high damage-dealing setups over buffing/debuffing although if the kit I'm using has a buff/debuff ability I'll probably use it quite frequently.

The one class I simply can't stand playing as is Healer. Holy shit I fucking hate playing as healer you usually go to put up with some assholes begging you to heal and you're just sitting there trying not to lose consciousness.

In fact, this is where I would agree with @Maelstrom and try to solo as much as possible. It just feels like you have more control over what is happening.

Also makes you feel like a total badass when you singlehandedly beat some crazy boss or mow down hordes of enemies all on your own.

  7. Ooo I already put Darting Blow and Moonbow on her so that's two down.

I would love to put Wings of Mercy on her but seeing that I don't have any units to inherit those skills over to her I may as well sacrifice one of my Navarres for Desperation.

So going off that, I should probably run Ardent Sacrifice to get some extra heals and bring her closer to Desperation's effective HP levels.

Ok so I guess all I have to do now is wait for Robin to win this thing and collect my shit load of feathers to promote her!

  8.

Some emulators are pretty CPU intensive, you may want to consider your specs before you start diving in to the emulator scene.

My old HP Pavilion with an Intel i3 could run Wind Waker at a stable 30 fps but for whatever reason gargled anus when trying to run Pokemon Black.

Now I'm using a newer HP Pavilion with 6th gen Intel i7 and things seem to be running a lot smoother. Haven't tried Citra in a while though but I still don't think its quite ready yet.

You definitely want to get a controller for when playing games like Wind Waker or Ocarina of Time because the keyboard and mouse controls just aren't ported very well at all.

Desmume needs Bios files and Firmware, or else... Likewise, most emulators need Bios, which you get separately and some of them, may even need plugins. Those are considered illegal, though. Not only roms, but bios files as well... Plus, pokemon roms of DS era have anti-piracy measures. You need certain tampering with very specific programs, to lift the XP ban of gen 5, or the graphic freezes and glitching, plus black screen, of gen 4. And for wi-fi, you need homebrew Desmume with programmed ad hoc, which only pros can pull off and besides, N has closed down wi-fi anyway for those older gens...

Hold up I thought Desmume came pre-packaged with BIOS and firmware and such?

I know PCSX2 requires that you go out and download the BIOS separately but I don't remember having to do that with Desmume.

I refer you to my previous comment. RPCS3 is at a good stage of development. Things are improving rapidly, and Persona 5 already runs pretty close to full speed, albeit with graphical glitches. In 2-3 years we should have a great product.

I honestly don't think its worth waiting for a PS3 emulator to come out to play those games.

You can get a PS3 for less than 70 bucks used nowadays and it'll probably be a hell lot more reliable than using a possibly unstable emulator with hardware that may not even be able to support it.

  9. This is the first gauntlet where I've stuck with the same unit for all three match-ups so yeah, I'm going all in with Robin so he better not fuck this up.

Also been meaning to ask, any of you guys got a cool Kagero build? Pulled a 4* +ATK -HP version and will probably promote her to 5*.

@Fabled Asian yeah I've actually never seen an enemy Tharja in all my arena runs. weird, right? Although I did see a lot of Sophia while she was a bonus unit, she actually threw me for a loop because I couldn't OHKO her with my low-hp tharja

I believe Tharja is the most balanced red mage there in the game currently also best body js.

I can see her filling the role of an anti-Takumi mage really easily with Rauorraven+, Darting Blow 3, Vantage 3, Threaten Res 3 and Moonbow. She also gets the added bonus of being able to take out Hectors, Ninos and Julias pretty easily.

But again, Reinhardt and Olwen would probably come with Dire Thunder and fuck her shit up so watch out.

@5hift I find that mountain cool, but whoa, I didn't expect the Great Wall to be that crowded. Isn't the Great Wall like thousands of kilometers long? So, why is there such a crowd? And yeah, I heard that China's quite polluted, to the point that there's smog in certain places.

Bruh thats the front entrance very few people have the balls to walk miles across the wall to areas that are relatively less crowded and thats if  they get past the sea of bodies. Since the Great Wall is extremely famous its no surprise that thousands of people will be wanting to go there.

And ohhhhh boy you haven't even heard the worst about China's pollution. There is literally no sunlight in the big cities just depressing cloudiness and smog. I'm deadass serious when I tell you this but about a year ago there was some major holiday going on and by order of the national government everyone got the day off so there were no factories running. And wouldn't you know, the fucking smog cleared and everyone was freaking the fuck out like they've never seen a clear sky before in their entire life. Everyone was snapping pics of the clear sky and sharing it with their version of Twitter/Facebook (its called WeChat). Meanwhile back at the states we're all just "Psh, see that shit every goddamn day."
