  1. I've noticed that most of the topics in this area are on coding, so this may be in the wrong area and I apologize for that in advance. I was told that if I wanted to help with the development of Pokemon Reborn to come here and post a topic. I do not know coding and cannot sprite to save my life; however, I am a CRLA certified English tutor as well as a Game Design and Development student specializing in Narrative and Level Design. What do those things mean? The CRLA certification means that an international organization has deemed that my knowledge of English grammatical structures is sufficient enough to edit and aid students in the process of writing stories, essays, poems, etc. The Narrative and Level Design aspect of the Game Design and Development program I am in focuses around advance story techniques, character development, matching narrative to gameplay, etc. The point is that if there is grammar to be fixed, spelling to be checked or simply another creative mind to help contribute to the already fantastic story of Pokemon Reborn, please do not hesitate to ask me. I typically use Final Draft when writing video game dialogue, but I can also use Microsoft Word, Celtx or Google Docs to do editing. Since I truly appreciate the work that has been done to make this game the way it is, it only seems fair that I offer up whatever services I may be able to provide. If I am not needed, then I will go back to playing my monotype playthrough.
  2. I've been using it for correcting unintended grammar or spelling errors, but now it'll have another use. Thanks for the tip!
  3. Should I bring cookies or board games? A woody piece of shrubbery stuck in a semi-liquid combination of soil and water that can type and apparently speak sounds like an individual that I would want to listen to.
  4. I wish I had any artistic talent like that, but unfortunately, I am no good at the aesthetic aspect of game design. My concentration of study is mostly in narrative and level design, which is basically the plot of the game and the structure of the gameplay. I'm basically going to school to be a Creative Director.
  5. Hello to those register and those who whisk their way through the forums anonymously! My name is Devon Ducharme, I am a college student studying Game Design and Development (particularly narrative and level design) who stumbled onto Pokemon Reborn after watching shofu's play-through videos on YouTube. As the latter suggests, I enjoy gaming, but I also enjoy writing, reading comic books as well as listening to the news and keeping up to date on the latest political and economic situations throughout the world. In this Pokemon Reborn play-through, I am using a Monotype Normal team, which happens to be more enjoyable than originally anticipated. As a writer and someone who studies video game narratives, I am extremely impressed at the depth and emotion that the story of Reborn and its characters. I know this was brief, so feel free to ask me any questions below and I will answer them whenever I see them! EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am a College Resource Learning Association (CRLA) certified English tutor, so I would be more than willing to proofread dialogue before it goes in-game.
