  1. Makuhita and Kricketune (Fury Cutter) beat that gym for me on my first run. Second run I had help from Quilava and Mankey. My third run has been a little more difficult since I started with Turtwig, but it basically came down to spamming smokescreen and screech with a Stunky against Cradily and then sending in my starter to finish things off. If you don't mind training a Biberal up you can trade it for a Litleo in the North Peridot ward. It has Noble Roar and Work Up, so if you get the chance to setup you can do some pretty hefty damage.
  2. Found it, thanks. And concerning why Ducklett, I happened to start with a grass starter and could use a reliable water/flying type for the early game. Plus I've found Swanna to be a great offensive pokemon for later on without having to resort to move tutors or too much breeding.
  3. Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I just downloaded Pokemon Online and am going to try and figure it out tonight. Warnings concerning sanity, who to listen to, who not to listen to, and who to watch out for have been duly noted.
  4. So according to the list, Ducklett is available as an egg after beating the fake Day care couple. I'm currently playing through Episode 11 and after rescuing the Day care couple from the warehouse, no egg. Am I missing something or is the list not up to date with the current version?
  5. In conclusion, I am a fan. As way of an introduction, I am just like you dear reader. I am the common man. The fan captivated at a young age by the amazing world of these monsters that fit in one's pocket. The fan who grew up and forgot about the wonder and enjoyment of catching them all. The fan who wandered into the gaming store and picked up his/her childhood memories and decided to once again delve into that world which had garnered him so many fond memories. The fan that sadly swept through the his memories' plot in 24 hours and wondered when it became so simplistic, so shallow, so easy... The fan who heard about this re-imagining of his memories, but this time with promises of complexity, depth, and difficulty. The fan who, like you, sits here reading this introduction and wondering when he's finally going to get to the point. Well, in conclusion, I am a fan. I am a both a reborn fan and a Reborn fan. For those interested, I'm simply an engineer who still enjoys his childhood memories of Pokemon, RPG's, Lego, board games, and a good old fashioned adventure story. Glad to meet you all.
