It's good, but not broken. It comes with no ground moves when you catch, which it would have helped with Corey a lot. To get it Knock Off you have to use 6 common candies after evolving it and train it again, or wait after Aya to access the move relearner. his lvl up move is not that great, it really depends on breeding to get some nice stuff!

Well, for the ground-type moves you could always use natural gift with a persim berry...
