  1. is it worth it?

Just got mismagius for my final team. Had Duknoir in Reborn and Gengar in my second Reborn run so I doubt there's something better since Litwick is at amethyst cave. If it's as cool as Shade's Gym in Reborn, I'll do it. I have no idea where it is. Someone said it was by completing kakori and kristiline help centers but I can' enter the kristilline one. Remember I need some keys, forgot where they are or if changed.

  2. Other than the first three, the rest's in-game already. Except of well, Aerodactyl, who's post-game. Anyway, there's always alternatives.

Want Aerodactyl? Use Archeops. It levels up fast fast fast because it's a fossil.

Want Scizor? Use Hustle Durant. There's a Wide Lens in the Route 1 Nature Center, not far from it.

Want Gliscor? Use Flygon. No need to grind Coins anymore too, it's in a trade for Mothim. I used a Flygon in my first run. I liked it so much that I used two in my second. It gets Superpower if Trapinch reaches lvl 40 without evolving, and Bug Bite from 7th Street to spice things up.

Want Gengar? Mismagius can come with Nasty Plot straight from the event. Sets one up and reks face, also can sponge Arceus with some Mystical Fire shenanigans, sweeps any version of Bennett, stops Serra's supercrits with Lucky Chant, just a ver resourceful Pokemon even before breeding moves via E12.

Want Togekiss? Hope you get something better out of the mystery egg, because Togekiss is Togekiss :P

Etc. Try new stuff out. There's alternatives to everything.

Look at my signature. That's what I want to do but I just have a huge hype for togekiss, aerodactyl and scizor. I could play episode 10 and get togepi, grind coins for trapinch and use blaziken or feraligatr. The biggest problem is scizor. Aerodactyl takes a lot to get.

I just want to use those specific ones because there's a certain missing connection to try them out. It doesn't matter. It takes too much time and Reborn isn't worth repeating 5 times. Kind of my case since:

My first try I finished at the bug gym.

    Second try finished At Samson.

Picked up guy's file and got to Terra.

Now I made two new runs because stupid me decided to delete my previous one.

But whatever. I have used Aerodactyl and Togekiss before. (Insurgence and Gray Topaz) and they are extremely good. I have never touched a Scizor in any LP. Gliscor seems cool. I can't fulfill each one so it doesn't matter.

  3. No I know. I'm just thinking if I ever make a 3rd run I should at least be able to get the pokemon I want to use.

Where was the house with the togepi egg?

  4. Can I get a togepi in episode 10? I saw that there was a questionnaire guy that gave you the egg.

It's weird that pokemon like scyther, gliscor, magikarp, slowpoke, ferrothorn, and the rest of non pseudo legendaries aren't obtainable in the game. We're at lvl 70 and still no sound from them.

Ghastly was axed, not moved so that was weird.

If you see my signature there isn't much to do with the making completely new teams early enough. Couldn't get an idea.

Was left with the urge to use:

    Scizor

    Gliscor

    Togekiss

    Volcarona

    Chandelure

    Starmie

    Rampardos

    Conkeldurr

    Porygon z

    Aerodactyl

    Armaldo

    Flygon

    Kingdra

    Lapras

Had hype for these guys. Any episode that scyther has been available?

  5. The shards can be used in this version:

In the sheridan wetlands there's a machine you can use them at and you'll fight

a bot with a shadow beldum - it doesn't seem to be normally purifiable but I have a hunch that it's like the shadow Lugia in colosseum and you need to max out all of the purification chamber to be able to purify it, but I haven't tested that quite yet.

    EDIT:

Maxing out the purification chamber didn't seem to do anything - however, when I put in a normal shadow pokemon in the purificaiton chamber after it was purified it asked if I wanted to change sets and I purified it that way - I have a feeling that this wasn't the intended way to purify it though and is probably a bug. At any rate, it has zap cannon, psychic, and giga impact as moves

Same as Reborn? Lar, Bag, Dra, Gi, Dei or Goo would have been better.

  6. This focuses on v6 for now.

Before anything goes, good competitive NATURE is a must... except for my hasty axew (still waiting for nature changer) with dragon dance.

The game doesn't get "hard" until the first gym leaders.

Here is my advice for you to be the very best like no one ever war.

The mighty ratata at your service,

    Litleo, Houndoor or Growlithe.

The starter doesn't matter that much. They're all good.

Get Voltorb from the guy that sells pokeball for $400 in gearen.

    An oddish doesn't hurt either.

If You need, which probably you won't. Get woobat just to beat venam easily.

Now you're going vs the second gym.

    Get Natu.

    Mahukita or Pancham are great.

Swablu doesn't learn anything that soon so forget it.

Numel is good. Make sure his nature doesn't reduce attack or sp.attack in his case. Probably speed.

Now going vs the 3rd gym.

If you chose infernape or blaziken, why are you looking at this?

    Venipede wouldn't hurt.

No vs the 4th gym. I wouldn't use ghost types unless you just want to cure something because they will probably be two or even one hit KO. If you have money for rare candies, lvl up pangoro to 42. growlithe to 45 or with any pokemon. This will get them some moves if you ever need them in battle.

Oh and zubat in corta forest.

If you're not using electrode, go get elektrike in the gearen hotel.

A bolder wouldn't hurt since someone told me you get link heart with item finder in blacksteel castle.

In the castle you can catch teddy and snover (get it just in case).

Use manectric/electrode and abosmasnow for the 5th gym.

There's an oshawott in akora forest.

Now you can get yanmega, toxicroak, drapion, gastrodon.

Too many good pokemon. Just defeated the 6th gym so idk what I will do next.

I now will get roselia for yanma and a sandile.

Another I would have liked to have is swinub or anorith.

You can get a magnemite in kakori's help center aswell.

    Sorry for my grammar.

The thing here is to get pokemon that evolve soon enough to hold off the gym leaders and then replace them with better ones later on.

Look for pokemon that have more than 2 typing moves like close combat, acrobatics and flare blitz from infernape.

If you go lets say poliwrath then breed one with goldeen so it has waterfall.

  7. No, because people can easily abuse it if they weren't affected. Which is why they're so expensive. I didn't have to put a vendor in at all. I've been pretty generous with some things. Sadly this isn't one of those things.

That's your opinion. Like I have said before. Sometimes you have to tell something if it's challenging or grindy. At least you should give 6 ability capsules on each new version and I don't mean exploring wise. Just when you get back on you change everything you need and keep moving on.

This game or Reborn aren't hard.

You either try hard winning gym battles by luck or:

When I get teams as good as my final teams (signature) there isn't anything you can do with the pokemon's core to win. That's what the field effects for. Without the field effects this game is easy but hey, everything else is amazing but I wouldn't been playing if it weren't for the field effects.

I mention this because you may think adding ability capsules will somewhat make the game way too easier.

After the 5th gym, yeah you're generous with the options for my team, agreed. The breeders aswell.

The tms are better than before.

Hell I don't even care for my abilities. I haven't checked the price though.

  8. Essentials bug, actually. It's not Jan's fault. Same thing happened in Reborn. There are a few scattered around the region, but the vendor is your best bet.

I know it isn't his fault. That's what I meant. He should sell them cheapier because of it.
