  1. Anyone know where i can get absol and is it possible to get before the fight with zetta and geara at valor mountain, its part of my strategy for that awfully annoying typhlosion i cant beat

  2. So my current team is hypno, zebstrika, typhlosion, arcanine, honchkrow and toxicorak. I can barely get past 3 pokemon before he wipes me out. I dont understand how his hawlucha can outspeed my zebstrika, who has a +speed nature, when it is paralyzed. Can anyone offer some suggestions. Some pokemon i have in the pc are:

Steelix at least has sturdy and can get one attack

Bisharp who would be absolutley pointless here

    Misdrevious

    Ampharos

    Mamoswine

    Palosand

    Drapion

    Noctowl

    Clawitzer

    And bewear

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm kinda stuck at the mountain vs Geara & Zetta... I've tried a ton of things, including making an ice-themed team that (eventually) got the field into a water-level field.. I also tried looking around for a snorunt in Evergreen Forest at night to no avail, which is weird to me.. My strategies included focusing one side of the team first and then hope that I can focus one down but Melia tends to switch sides.. I've got a lot of lv 55 pokemon now because of this.. My ice pokemon include Avalugg (for the initial tank and blizzard primarily), Cryogonal (for sometimes/somehow using reflect), Beartic (for dig mostly), Vanilluxe, Abomasnow (the hail), and some more. I've also got alolan sandslash (and ninetales) semi-ready for a fight, but I'm just not feeling it anymore. It seems like the last few main battles were just hoping to get the right circumstances and a lot of luck before I can finally beat them. My main team is Greninja, Zebstrika, Pyroar, Aromatisse, Vanilluxe and Decidueye. If anyone can give me a golden tip on how to beat them, it would be most appreciated! I've also (half) got a sun-team but since they start out with an EQ-ing, rock sliding combo, it would not seem wise to have too many fire-types.. I hope that the remainder of the game is less having to find just the right matchup for a team and having to start from scratch all over again.. My next plan would be to get a meowstic with prankster and getting the shields up, but I'm not sure whether that would get me any farther..

I believe that the move bounce turns it into a sky field. You could try using that. I tried a bunch of different mons but i settled with my team consisting of in inceneroar, raichu, espeon, krookodile, salazzle and crobat. Krookodile and salazzle were both completley IV trained and yes i believe a little luck was involved but melias zoroark got rid of krookodile and marowak easily then i had raichu get rid of gyrados and espeon for gengar. From there i used dig to get rid of the field and used salazzle to toxic everything thay could be. But i agree with you this fight and the angie fight were very frustrating. Especially because if zetta gets typhlosion out with the volcanixlc field it literally outspeeds and one shots practically everything.  So you could try bounce and see if that helps at all

That's based on level 100, effect of EVs on stats increases as you tend towards that level, earlier on they have less effects on your stats.

so am i wasting my time ev training my level 30 zoroark right now or will it balance out by the time its level 100

  5. So unless i dont actuslly understand EV training like i thought i did but by my understanding you're supposed to gain 1 point for every 4 EV points. But i just did like 12 battles in the speed roon and my zoroark only got 2 points in speed. Can someone explain this for me please

So I'm so pissed at fucking Neved with his overleveled pokemon is kicking my ass right now. (I am at where you fight alongside Aelita vs Neved in Blacksteeple Castle.) I get that Jan (or whoever setup this battle on dev team) balanced it to make him this strong because he's using less mons, but really Aelita is hit or miss with her underleveled mons that almost always get 1 shotted by everything, so really she isn't all that helpful.  And I fully EV trained plenty of mons yet all of them seem seriously underpowered compared to his team.  I've gotten him down to his Barbaracle (last mon) a few times, but by that time it's just me (Aelita's mons are all dead) and I get whatever mons I have left deleted by that fucking thing.  The whole thing feels ridiculously controlled by luck.  A stray high roll on damage or crit for Neved can easily fuck me over...and it's time to reset and DAMMIT I HAVE TO FIX IT BACK TO FULL SCREEN EVERY FUCKING TIME BECAUSE THAT RESETS TO SMALL SCREEN WHEN I DO THAT FOR WHATEVER REASON. *sigh of annoyance and exasperation*

I didn't want to have to do this, but I've come to the internet for help.  So please, I would really appreciate if anyone would be willing to help me figure out a way to get past this practically cheating fuck.  Maybe I'm trying to beat him from the wrong angle, or maybe I am using bad mons, or maybe I just suck I don't know.  But I've got this far without help so I'd like to believe I have some idea of what I'm doing.  I am on the Reborn (Normal) Difficulty BTW, not Easy or Intense.

Lycanroc was my best friend with accelrock. Still expect to use some potions and revives here

  7. So  my original plan was to take out all of gearas team first because minior is useless offensivley in the shieldsup form but melia goes of attacking it after we get past krokodile and marowak, so once she takes out minior that typhlosion wreaks my whole team. I was hoping to transform the field but I have no pokemon with dig and i only have ponyta that will learn bounce but ponyta is like level 15. The pokemon I have that are at or close to level 55 are crobat, incenoroar, floatzel, espeon, raichu, drapion, cacturn, A-muk, yanmega, togekiss, talonflame, salazzle, lycanroc, krookodile and banette,. Anyone have any suggestions? Would it be worth it to level poynta up to know bounce to transfrom it into a sky field?

I'm completely stuck at the Angie battle. At best my team can get past 3 of her pokemon, but they get swept. Every time I get rid of the field with my typhlosion, she just sets it back up with cold truth. At this point I'm up to any suggestions on how to beat her.

    Thanks!

I gave my raichu a elemental seed to set up electric terrain. That cant be removed and then i had espeon take care of crabrwler, lycanroc took care of most of them with rock slide and then magnetons discharge coupled with the electric terrain took out walrein in 2 shots. Still had to use a few hyper potions and revives though

As the in-battle text says,  the seed mamoswine holds  gives it +2 speed at the cost of being affected by torment

Im actually still trying to beat her in hardcore, does anyone know where i can get one or two of these seeds because im pretty positive i will win if i can put one on my heracross and magneton. Is it the tellutic seed i need?

Lost my old save file, so starting new. Angie on intense is just..... wow.

The mamoswine outspeed my lyncanroc (day form), who has 31 speed iv, 252 ev, and positive speed nature....

I know lol, some of these things are ridiculous. My first playthrough i did on normal and even with the spped boost from the hail theres no way pokemon like crabominal and beartic should be able to outspeed my crobat and espeon who both have positive speed nature. Theres always one gym leader in each of these games that gives me headaches to no end to beat and that is angie for rejuvenation

Can you suggest some difficult rom hacks except the crystal games.I checked a few but I dont think any of them are challenging enough.I have limited internet per day so cant download them and test their difficulty either.I wouldnt mind phoenix risings difficulty even though its a bit overkill in the early stages of the game cuz the enemy pokemons are 5-6 levels or more above their displayed level.A difficulty like that in the later stages of the game would be nice though.I wonder when the next update comes out.I hope reborn, rejuve updates come soon too or amethyst and her gang work on multiple new projects 😛.

Pokemon dark rising is a hard one, theres also snakewood which is an intresting twist on the games. i know one creator is working on his third one. His two complete ones are called pokemon victory fire and resolute. His third one that he is working on is called mega power. I dont remeber difficulty so much but i know he is really good with the story. One of the best hacks is pokemon glazed difficulty isnt up there with reborn and rejuv but its difficult enough and the story is fantastic

*Please dont remove this post cuz no one is answering the other one*

Can anyone suggest me any fan games like rejuvenation, reborn or desolation.I feel these 3 games stood out in terms of their gameplay especially due to field effects.Does anyone know any similarly difficult games or maybe like intense rejuvenation. Also should not have downgraded 20th century graphics or be in black and white like the crystal games.

The only other one that i know of that is far enough along to make it worth it, at this point is full moon. Im with you that those three rise way above and beyond the rest but theres some very talented rom hackers out there also. I would check out pokecommunitys romhack page

I have an Alola Raichu. But her Beartic and Crabominable can outspeed it. Plus Cold Truth is so OP it's crazy, i have so many horror stories of almost fainting her Walrein only for Cold Truth to freeze Raichu. But alright, i don't have a Electrical terrain setter, any suggestions? Also i need something to stop the hail, to slow down Beartic.

Yea togedemaru works for electric terrain oryou can catch a magnemite in the safari zone if you did all of kakori help quests. You cant get magnezone yet but mirror shot should be useful and then you have that shadow mankey that if you caught knows cross chop and i also had sucess with bulky dark types like muk and inceneroar since they get a 1.2x boost in power

So, i was peacefully doing another run of Rejuvenation, and this game gives me the horror of a double battle withAngie? This boss is crazy tough. What's worse is that there is some weird bugs I noticed, I open up with Greninja and Alola Muk, I can OHKO the Jinx with Crunch,  but the beartic, takes like 3 hits, but here is the weird part, if I can somehow take out the Beartic in the first or 2nd turn, the Jinx keeps surviving the Crunch, but if the Beartic survives, the Jinx goes down in one hit, is this a bug or a feature? also why does misty terrain end in just two turns, but I can't set up again until I get a message saying mist faded?

Any any advice to get past this sadistic monster?

    Spoilers:

Also I found a room that shows Angie merging with someone who is most likely Indriad, does that mean Indriad is possessing her? I doubt it, personally I'm guessing, Angie is some alternate version of Anju who went off the deep end, like I assume Cera is somehow connected to Cella or as we call her the Eldest.

So raichu is relatively fast and outspeeds her pokemon and if you can make use of its thunderbolt and electric terrain it can do some really high damage to her team, especially that ace, walrein, of hers

  15. So im trying to get my golbat into crobat and hes at level 39 right now and im stuck not going anywhere until i beat valerie, now i tried feeding him a gourmet treat and it says he ate it happily. So im assuming that means that gourmet treats increase happiness, but im not 100% positive, can anyone confirm this?

  16. my team right now is floatezel, incenoroar, zebstrika, espeon and lycanrock. the 6th spot take your pick, ive rotated in pikachu, migthyena, quagsire. in my pc i have spritzee ( who i would use but speed is absoulutley terrible), ponyta, grimer-a, fletchinder. i thought that spending the money for flash would help but apparently thats basically useless seing that her signature move turns it right back into a haunted field, i have no problem getting to spiritomb and dusclops but those two ruin my whole team. lycanrock does a nice job making spirittomb flinch with rock slide but because of the pressure i dont have enough PP. same thing with darkest lariet it does pretty decent damage even with the haunted field in play but still not enough PP. I was thinking sprtizee because it learns moonblast very early but its speed is so slow i think it would be useless. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's kind of a late reply, but I beat this gym with one pokemon alone... Alolan Raichu. Considering you can come back through the hole in the wall, I suggest you buy an aphophyll pancake and give it to your pikachu to evolve it into an alolan raichu, and let it learn thunderbolt through the move relearner. I set up one nasty plot and thunderbolted her entire team with massive success, the only hit being the first hit where I was setting up, and a drampa dragonbreath. If you dont want to go through the trouble of using pikachu, you can let your lycanroc (considering its dusk or midday) learn accelrock to beat the chatot to the punch if thats the pokemon stopping you from progressing. That's all I can think of as of the moment. Hope you can beat it no matter the strategy you use!

Is there a decent way to level up also, cause right now the best ive found is basically just let marionette beat me with a pokemon holding the exp share
