  1. Stealth Spikes

    Type: Steel

    Category: Status

    PP: 20 (32)

    Power: ---

Same mechanics as Stealth Rocks, but with damage due to type effectiveness to Steel. Learned by many steel types like Skarmory, Forretress, and Ferrothron and can be learned via move tutor.

    Stealth Thorns

    Type: Grass

    Category: Status

    PP: 20 (32)

    Power: ---

Similar mechanics to Stealth Rocks and Toxic Spikes but for grass type. One layer does half normal damage (like only 12.5% for a type weak to grass) and reduces Sp. Atk by one stage. Two layers does full damage and harshly reduces Sp. Atk by two stages. Doesn't affect grass types. Activates abilities like Contrary, Defiant and Competitive as well as Sap Sipper. Can be learned by pokemon like Roselia, Roserade, Cacturne, Ferrothorn, and Chestnaught and can be learned from a move tutor.

    Hazard Shift

    Type: Psychic

    Category: Status

    PP: 10 (16)

    Power: ---

A combination of Psycho Shift, Rapid Spin and the ability Magic Bounce. It removes the entry hazards and relocates them to the opposing side. Relocated hazards can stack with pre-existing hazards once by 1.5x normal damage. Blocked by Dark types. Learned by different psychic types like Alakazam, Xatu, Grumpig, and Sigilyph.

Reminds me why I hate those sneaky pebbles. So many pokemon learn them, but too few pokemon can get rid of them, especially in game (which limits team building). We need a lot more means to get rid off them once they are on the field. That or for Defog to be a move tutor move (I want my defog sygilyph).

    As for my own ideas

    Repair:

    Rock

Restores the user's hit points, but lowers a random stat. If a hazard is in place on the user's side, the hazard is removed and no stat is lowered. Can be learned mostly by the more mechanical and craggy pokemon such as the Regis and onix line.

    Bladestorm

    Fighting

    Power: 25

    Accuracy: 95

Unleashes a flurry of blades upon the target, hitting 2 to 5 times. Has a high critical hit ratio.

Generally learned by pokemon with a lot of blade type attacks, such as galade, the swords of justice, and the honedg line.

  2. Actually, I believe Illusion does work.

Thing is, the AI will see through it anyway.

I could try testing this in OR/AS, X and Y or Gen 5 games, but I'm pretty sure the AI sees through it anyway. The AI is just that good.

At least in gen 5, the effectiveness of illusion against the AI seems to vary based on the day of the month. Sometimes the AI would see right through it, such as using a focus blast on your Zoroark when it is pretending to be an Alakazam, other times it will keep using psychic on it when it looks like a Breloom, with predictable results.

  3. Space field:

    "IN SPACE!"

    • The Effect of Cosmic power is doubled
    • Moonlight and morning sun Give a sp. Attack boost in addition to healing
    • The Following moves do 1.5 x the normal damage: Psycho Boost, Moon Blast, Fly, Dragon Ascent, Spatial Rend, Roar of Time, Shadow Force, Hyperspace Hole, Hyperspace Fury,
    • Vacuum Wave does 2x the normal damage
    • Meteor Mash and Comet punch do 1.5 x the normal damage and gain an additional rock type
    • Lunar Dance does not faint the user but instead switches it out for the target (I.e U-Turn)
    • Solar Beam activates instantly
    • Sound moves have no effect
    • Twister, Hurricane, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Razor wind, and Aero blast have no effect
    • Weather moves always fail
    • Psychic, Fairy, and rock type pokemon suffer 10% less damage than normal from all attacks. This effect does not stack with itself if a duel type pokemon has falls under more than one of those categories.
    • Except Thousand Arrows, Ground Moves have no Effect
    • The following moves will terminate this field: Seismic toss, Smack Down, Gravity, Thousand Arrows
    • Secret power May raise the user's sp. Attack
    • Nature power becomes cosmic power
  4. im not really one for romance especially in a videogame (also i HATE shipping) but the idea of relationships with many different aged characters makes me wonder if we could get an age option in the beginning of the game

we already have gender and race so why not age

you could have the normal 10 year old child and a 21 year old adult to give some diversity

The problem is it is sort of a hidden plot point that your character is old enough to be considered an adult as otherwise Sigmund would get his grubby hands on you.

As for pokemon dating options, I want one of the options available to the player, regardless of gender to be a pokemon.

  5. Extra thoughts for the matter: Would we need the Masterball or not? I mean, Amethyst has all the potential to lower or raise encounter rates if they're all runners, she presumably has the potential to lower or raise capture rates too.

On top of this, she may utilize something from the original pokemon games: giving the masterball a chance to fail.

None of this is set in stone, nor do I have any knowledge about the game, but i feel as if it should be a subject to be thought upon.

The master ball only had a chance to fail in the original games, and even then it was due to a glitch. This has been patched up in all the later games.

  6. I personally think team meteor is the most effective evil team I have seen in a pokemon fangame. Most of the time the creators of fangames load up the evil teams with legendries to provide the player with a challenge and show them to be a threat, but in reborn, Ame didn't do that. Team Meteor makes due with ordinary pokemon, just like we do (sometimes giving them a little "boost" if ordinary does not cut it), and when they DO make use of legendaries (so far) they have always been fakes, as opposed to the real ones.

  7. madamexktpm9.png

Madame X was easy... with Cheat Engine :P

Team of Madame X: Yveltal, Goodra, Volcarona, Salamence, Hydreigon and Garchomp. For the future Versions remember that she has a huge Ice weak (but it will take a long Time until we must beat Madame X, obviously). Also, the Movesets are a bit weird (for Example Body Slam Hydreigon, Double Edge Salamence).

What i find interesting is, that she mentioned her father. Maybe she is not the true boss of Team Xen...? That also explains that her Pokemon are no longer at Lv. 100.

    Crackpot theories incoming

My personal theory is that Millia, Maronette, and Madam X are one and the same person, divided by time travel shenanigans. Given that the former two have been confirmed to be one and the same, and that Zetta hinted that Millia is his mother or someone around those lines, despite him being more than a decade older than her at the very least, may lend this theory credence.

  8. I have a question: In between Crawly and Angie, there seems to be a drought of pokemon trainers. I only remember one non story trainer in fact (maids are definitely story related). Is this intentional?

  9. A Fe Errors I found:

    Already beat those insects

    eGOjOmg.png

I already got rid of the web here but when I jump from the third floor

    hvTU6ZY.png

Also, the "Defend me" help request can be completed before even accepting it. This is hilarious and I hope I get my reward.

  10. For humor things that could be considered.

    >All water type attacks become Ice Type attacks

    >Fire Attacks lose %50 power

    >Dark and Fairy type moves gain a 20% power boost

    >The move Gravity neutralizes the field effect.

    >The stat reducing effects of Kinesis, Luster Purge, Mist Ball, Night Daze, Memento are amplified.

    >Doom Desire and Future Sight take effect at the end of the next turn instead of two turns

    >The stat reduction of Psycho Boost is removed.

    >The Critical Hit Stage is raised by 2 instead of 1 for Spacial Rend, Night Slash.

    >The Effect of Lunar Dance switches to Wish + Heal Bell

    >Hyperspace Hole, Hyperspace Fury, Phantom Force and Shadow Force, Freeze-Dry, Moonblast all gain a 50% increase in power.

    >Morning Sun, Moonlight heal 75% health.

    You forgot:

    > Cosmic power boosts both defenses by 2 stages.

    > Spacial rend and Roar of Time do 50% more damage

    > Solar beam has a one turn charge up time

    > weather moves always fail

And here are a few more

    > Ground moves do rock type damage

    > Psychic and Fairy types suffer 25% less damage from all super effective attacks

  11. Alright this is a mon I've wanted for a long time:

    Mega Typhlosion

    Fire

Fire-Type Gale Wings (Maybe called Early Eruption or something) If REAL abilities, then Dry Skin, since the intense heat would dry him out and cause him to not because to stay mega-d for extended periods of time.

    HP: 78

    Attack: 84

    Defense: 78

    Sp.Atk: 109

    Sp.Def: 85

    Speed: 100

    +100

    Hp: 78

    Att: 84

    Def: 123

    Sp Att: 139

    Sp Def: 100

    Speed: 110

Gains new move : Energy Ball

Boosts to his Special Attack, boosted defenses, and even access to priority. Energy Ball for strong coverage and this thing goes from Nu threat to possible Ubers monster.

An alternate take on typhlosion based on its current wonderful physical movepool:

    Mega Typhlosion:

    Fire/Electric

Ability: reckless: boosts the power of recoil moves by 30%

    Hp: 78

    Attack: 134

    Defense: 88

    Sp. Attack: 125

    Sp. Def: 95

    Speed:114

Mega Typlosion X acts similar to emboar but much faster and a very different typing. While it lacks access to head smash and superpower, it retains access to quite a few fighting moves including Reversal, which given the best move sets for this poke involve recoil moves, becomes quite a viable move. Furthermore, Its new typing gives it Immunity to paralysis as well as burns, meaning that two of the game's most threatening conditions to physical offensive pokemon are not a threat to it.

  12. Mega Butterfree

    Bug/Psychic

    Adaptability

    HP: 60

    Attack: 5

    Defense: 50

    Sp. Attack: 160

    Sp. Defense: 80

    Speed: 140

Ever since Beedrill got a mega, I've always felt like Butterfree deserved one too. I changed its typing to Bug/Psychic because it doesn't learn any good damaging flying-type moves, while it does learn some pretty good psychic type moves (such as psybeam or, from a TM, psychic). Adaptability is here because it worked so well on mega Beedrill, and I gave it stats resembling a special mega Beedrill.

You might want to change around butterfree's stats a little since she gets Quiver dance. Maybe buff her defenses a little at the cost of some speed and sp. Atc?

  13. Kekleon's level-up move pool isnt all that bad to be honest. It get's Faint attack really early, giving it the option to become dark type against shade, Shadow sneak is a pretty good priority move and let's you play around with predicting normal/fighting moves, and later on it gets sucker punch, one of the most powerful priority moves, which is pretty good for the psychic gym, as it will change to dark type, give it stab, and most likely absorb a psychic or two. All in all, with a few TMs, you can really have some fun with protean and it's 90 base attack stat.

Not to mention, if trick room comes up, Kecleon is also slow, meaning it can move first in such an environment even without priority.

  14. @MetalKing I went with the heat-Durant because I was just going with the Heatmor-Durant swap idea.

That said I feel like that is alone reason enough for monochrome, not to mention the fact that Heatmore just -looks- mechaish.
But I'm on board with the Drippy reference if enough people like that.
I also just looked at canon shiny Heatmor for maybe the first time and it's actually kind of neat, so this might be one that we don't actually have to change if nothing seems better.

Fun fact on that Durant: I used the colors for both the normal and shiny colors for Heatmor's red body to get its colors.

  15. That's excessively punishing the player for choosing a stronger starter. What if they chose Torchic or Froakie because they really like those pokemon? (I prefer Cyndaquil myself) Also, having to sell an item you start with is far too punishing to anyone playing blind. (Especially because the Ice Cream vendor ONLY appears during a sunny day) why not reward the player for choosing a weaker starter, rather than punishing them for choosing a stronger one?

EDIT: Why is my post formatting itself like this? It's not something that's intentional.

The idea is to allow the player to choose a starter they like but also inform them that if you do choose them, you will lose a little in the beginning and possibly encourage them to start with another pokemon. I do agree though, forcing a player to sell an item to the ice cream vendor if they want to get the starter they want will excessively punish blind playthroughers who just want that starter, not to mention getting it is too luck based.

  16. I just wanted to make suggestion along with just giving it try but how about a drippy heatmore its nose reminds me so much of drippy from no no kuni

    631placeholder_zpsj2rquw3q.png

I'll edit it later removing the background and seperate it

    Oooo.... I like.

  17. As for the starter thing, it might just be a good idea to remove the gamebreaking ones such as Blaziken, Greninja, and Infernape leaving a funny message relating to out of stock or something. (If you want to be cruel, make an amiibo joke out of it...because rare ones are impossible to find). I rarely had money struggles except when trying to complete the Pokedex. Without those pokemon, people might broaden in choices to Pokemon like Blastoise (who is a freaking boss) to go through the game. Removing those OP one should let people choose want difficulty they want to play, but still challenges them to some degree.

How about instead of out of stock, "low on stock" and a price tag behind it saying that if you want to use this starter this amount of money will be deducted from your account if you choose this starter, (i.e. virtually all of it meaning you can't buy poke balls or what else immediately)
