Yesterday, here in Chile, the Mayoral elections were held, only a 35% of the people who could vote did, and there where issues with the ballots, the records were botched up and over 400.000 people had to vote in other towns and on the whole, it makes the whole it didn't do a good job on getting people willing to participate. Makes one rethink the whole voluntary vote thing.
