I know it's a dumb question given the fandom, but have you ever just caught a shiny Pokemon just because you could, even if it's one you'll likely never use?
In normal games, I go for it post haste like my shiny Unown. In Reborn, I occasionally let the shines go, since they sometimes aren't even worth my time.
