I've always been afraid of disappearing too, but for the completely opposite reason of you guys above; I'm far more worried that other people would worry about what happened to me. It wouldn't matter to me; I'd be gone... but I'd feel terrible to make other people worry.

Has episode 11 changed where you find pokemon in the early game around? Every single thing Crimson just said is contrary to my experience, lol.

If you were the developer of Pokémon Reborn

I would add a cellphone and the option to rebattle trainers (and have trainers just to call up and chat about how awesome their pokemon are). -
The "Talk about your feelings in your life" topic

You're in college, being tired is just an unfortunate side effect of a failed capitalist system struggling to impose itself on the youth of today. It's succeeding mind you... Now there's not a lot of solutions for this other than making sure you're eating healthy, getting an hour of outside time each day (even if it means cutting out an hour of something you like doing), and getting enough sleep for who you are. People could never understand at college why I was so rested and still had all my work done, and went to most of the parties but it was just about prioritizing the sleep. When you're well rested you can do everything more efficiently, so you'll get your work done and have time for the parties. As for lower marks; consider talking to your profs about it; with the exception of those few self absorbed pieces of trash (who are in it for the resources and don't want to teach anything), people are in teaching because they love what they're teaching and enjoy when other people understand it too; if you're having trouble, even if you're just like "I'm just too tired" go in and talk to the prof about having trouble with the material; chances are they will set you up with some way of improving your grades and understanding of the material, and getting to know the profs is always good because favouritism is a thing. I had a housemate who was asexual. He had no interest in reproducing or even being in a relationship. It was never an issue for him; just don't feel forced to conform to the social norms and it won't matter. If you find someone, great; if you don't, no stress. Enjoy being free from a need to consolidate your self worth in the happiness of others. It's not likely that you're not likable, everyone is liked by some type of person, it's far more a matter of finding that person who likes you. -

I'll start, since my issue has been weighing on me a lot recently, and I've run out of people in real life who are interested in me being upset about it (societal norms dictate I should only have feels for about a month). Our story begins at the end of this past summer; a week before my birthday my fiance (of one year, girlfriend of 4 years) said she wanted to take some time apart. She had been very busy with work and had been feeling down ever since her parents had moved out of the province (being Canadian, moving out of the province basically means they went to another country) and this had been putting a strain on our relationship for quite a while... or so she said was the issue. To put it in perspective, we basically weren't in a relationship anymore, despite being engaged; it got to a point where she refused to acknowledge our relationship publicly because she was worried it would tarnish her career image (or so she said), and she was generally too busy to spend time with me (or so she said). So we took our break. Fast forward a couple weeks, and she's not feeling well; she takes the day off work and asks that I'd come and bring her a few things (mostly food because she didn't feel up to go shopping). I pick up the groceries and head over to her place; this has been the first time we've hung out since she asked to take a break and I was still quite close and affectionate with her (still loving her as the person who was supposed to be my wife), but as soon as I give her a hug things change. She tells me I can't do that anymore and that she's seeing someone else. Now I had wondered for a while if she had not wanted to be dating me, and was interested in finding someone else; she had said the public display of distance was for professional reasons... and while I never believed that, I always assumed she just liked the attention from other men (since she was quite vain at times)... but she moved on quite fast when I was no longer in the picture. Worse still, the person she moved on to was a creep I had been concerned about since she met him; her 40 year old finance professor (a man with a notorious reputation for sleeping with all of his attractive female students). Basically all of my worst possible scenarios were realized in a single discussion... I was quite upset. Which brings us to the present. Months have passed now. I've tried to move on as best I can. I continued with my life; hung out with friends, went to school, found a new girl who fell madly in love with me (though it's only a brief fling, she's an exchange student leaving back for her home country in a couple months, likely never to return again... but at least that was nice to know that it wasn't me that messed up my last relationship; I'm downright good at being in relationships)... but I still can't get over the whole thing. Every day I am reminded in some way of how much I loved her, how much I miss her now. Every single day, without any warning I am struck with a sudden painful sinking feeling. We've talked since; things have gotten far worse between us and there is no hope of ever winning her back... So yah, that's what's got me down. On the bright side, when I am just the right level of sad, I try to lose myself in escapism... so I played Pokemon (90 hours and counting... shame I didn't understand how mining worked until there were almost no rocks left...). -
Me: Edit: Who gave me rep for being beautiful? Lol

Flygon's feint attack is just there to avoid anybody playing the "can't touch this" card and boosting their evasiveness through the roof, but like you said it's only really there because I couldn't breed in something better (desperately wanted u-turn for scouting... but can't because trapinch cannot learn it). I suppose I could go sandstorm in case everything goes pear-shaped and I need to cut the sun for some reason (rival sun team doing it better...?). Forretress already suffers from a 4x weakness to fire attacks due to being bug and steel, making those fire attacks even stronger through sunlight makes no difference to how dead it is if a fire attack hits it. With a weather war in player vs player matches against my friends entry hazards are able to make and break the team, so rapid spin was necessary (in game I've seen 2 toxic spikes, but rarely worry about them), and being able to lay down my own spikes can help deter other weather inducers being switched in (also... the threat of exploding their weather inducer should help deter that too). As for Arcanine, what should I replace for extreme speed? Flareblitz obviously stays, but of the other three options I'm not sure. I've been using roar as a pseudo haze so I'm reluctant to remove that unless I can find a new pseudo-hazer and there's not a lot of wiggle room there. That leaves crunch and outrage, which compete with flygons current movepool of feint attack and dragontail (soon to be dragonclaw). Both have their benefits and weaknesses... crunch is a little more damage than feint but not always as reliable. Outrage has far less control, but does mean I have an option for fighting dragons other than my dragon type pokemon (though I guess flygon is the worlds fastest murder machine... so he will get the first strike in against most dragons, and he hits like a truck...)... thoughts?

Thanks for the advice =) Toxic's a TM move, so it can be bread through the male's side; I also wanted heal bell so my breed chain looked like this: skuntank to skitty, skitty to chancey. You should have seen the breeding chain on venusaur though, that one was actually impressive!

Hey guys, when I started playing Pokemon Reborn back in this past September I decided this would be the time that I play through a pokemon game competitively. All my friends were super interested in it, and the game was challenging enough that in most cases spamming earthquake with my favourite looking pokemon just wouldn't cut it. So I started work on a team... My purpose in posting this up is two-fold. First, I find the game incredibly challenging and could use some input on why my team is just eating it in every battle (I'm currently stuck on the ice gym despite having 2 sunshine boosted fire types... and honestly this is a totally mainstream occurrence with every gym and story battle I come across). The second is that my friends are all playing and things have started getting serious (the rules are we can only battle on the battle emulator using the pokemon we train in the game); shots have been fired, wagers have been made, the honour of myself and my pokemon is now on the line. So with that in mind... I could really use some advice on what would make a better team! All of my pokemon have been EV trained to their true potential and Blissey is even bread to IV perfection (I wanted max power fighting hidden power). The levels are all around 50 give or take 1 or 2 levels (for the vs battles we go to the nearest 5 for both players). The team as you will notice is a sun team, and I've bread and raised each one of them =D Ninetails - drought - flamethrower -sunny day -will-o wisp -roar Arcanine - intimidate -flareblitz -crunch -outrage -roar Venesaur - chlorophyll -growth -sleep powder -gigadrain -sludge bomb Forretress - sturdy -spikes -rapid spin -gyroball -explosion Blissey - natural cure -healbell -softboiled -toxic -hidden power (fighting) Flygon - levitate -earthquake -dragontail -feint attack -rockslide Tell me what you think and where it could use some improvements! Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome everyone The team has been having it's ups and downs. I've just reached Serra and typically find myself getting swept pretty consistently. Guess it's back to grinding some more. I tried a sunny day fire team against her, but the weather seemed to get kind of wacky (the sunlight was strong, but all the snow veil pokemon still got their increased dodge chance).

Hey Everyone! I’m Anthalt and while I’ve been playing Pokemon since the launch of Pokemon Red, I’m still pretty new to Pokemon Reborn. That said I absolutely love it and definitely have to tip my hat to Amethyst for creating such an in depth and enjoyable game up to this point so far (Can’t wait to play more of the story)! After watching Shofu’s play through on Youtube, I downloaded the game and it was basically all I did over my winter holiday and I even managed to get all my friends playing it so that we could compare notes and compete at trying to build the strongest teams. I took my entry into this new and far more challenging game world as a chance to jump in to the more competitive side of pokemon battles. I had never done so before, but it seemed pretty clear to me that if I wanted to progress past Florinia at the second gym I was going to need to play a little differently than an 8 year old spamming earthquakes (ironically that’s basically what my Flygon does anyways...). Since that point I’ve been carefully raising pokemon, sifting through piles of eggs to find just the right ones, and EV leveling everything with painstaking pen and paper accuracy. It’s been a really tough go and I realize my team is still a long way from perfect, but the improvements have been huge and there’s definitely something thrilling about creating that perfectly unkillable god monster (like an Arcanine capable of going toe to toe with a Garchomp twice its level, or a Flygon clearing out an entire factory full of bad guys singlehanded). As it stands, my team will likely shape up to look a bit like this by the time I reach the end of chapter 10 With the Arcanine, Flygon, Venesaur, and Forretress already EV leveled and performing at their full potential, and the Reunicluss and Blissey still on the way.
