My old file got wiped and I am starting a new game. Any suggestions on a good starter and/or early in-game Pokemon that will make things easier later on? I remember I was stuck on the Normal gym-leader before my computer blew out. I chose Mudkip last time and I remember just thinking I wanted a stronger/faster starter.

Ah, you're right. I reset the game and got a nicely natured one thanks for everybody's help!

UGH I got the Riolu but it has a speed hindering nature AGAIN thats exactly why I wanted Lucario is because I thought it would be faster than my slow, frail Primape >.< Is the nature set on it? It's Brave nature. If I traded again, could I get a different nature?

That's what I was sorta thinking but I'm not a big fan of him. I hear a lot of people like him though so I might try him out.

I caught a Mankey early on in the game and it sorta helped but now, my Primeape sucks. It knows Karate Chop / Assurance / Focus Energy / Seismic Toss... It's level 40 and I know that Cross Chop is coming in one more level but the thing is that this Primeape has a Speed hindering nature, which really sucks. Is there another fighting type that I could train real quick? I just got the Venom Badge from Aya. The rest of my team is Swampert, Roserade, Houndoom, and Crobat. I also have this level 38 Emolga who is kinda handy but he's definitely not a long term guy and I'm thinking I could also replace him soon. Any suggestions on that? Sorry that's all kind of cluttered together, and thanks to any who reply

I've been trying to find this guy forever! I just barely joined Team Aqua and just barely found the Magma hideout. Two guys are blocking the rest of the hideout, so I'm just walking around in the small space allowed to me. Am I doing this right? I mean, I've found TWO shiny Purrloins and still no Houndour -.-

Oh okay. So I can go through the Magma storyline without doing this and get the bike still?
