Looks like I'm unable to gift Steam games to my friend because it costs more in his region than mine. I'd be fine with paying his region's price, but it won't let me.

Happens. That's human nature. I know the feels too. You should know what to keep and try your level best to kick out the rest. Think of it this way, what the "jerk" told ya is all in the past now. It's just a huge load of baggage for anyone, specially the one who writes great novels, really
. If it was his mistake, he would apologize or not, makes no difference to what you are, right? You are what you make yourself into. All humans are like clay. We just need the right shape for the right use. Live life to your fullest so that you have no time for bullshit such as the rude person.

Hi! I’m looking for people to beta read my novel, The Sapphire of Sacrifice. The novel has already been through several drafts and is the first in a trilogy. Aside from the many edits and adjustments I will doubtlessly have to make, the book is complete, so if you become a part of the process, you will eventually end up reading a full-length novel, beginning to end.
