Well I wouldn't be that harsh. He is a minor character, those are needed as much as protagonist. And Key of the STarry Heaven fleshed him out pretty well, True, the later reveal concerning his true identity made no sense and could have been avoided, but still...

yeah i know i am being a bit harsh but honetly that stupid ass reveal of his identity made me cringe means what why where did i honestly had to check that m.night shamalan wasnt behind this as for the starry heaven arc well they did make him a proper character but admit it he was kind of an asspull just to make that subplot happen

well i can give him slack in general but personally introducing him as a former or just a member of the councils guards intrduced early stary sky would've made as much sense in fact more sense as his interactions with the main chars was so low that being a fresh character would've changed nothing the main the thing was the absolute useless presence he had in tenryu island arc
