    This has got to be the first time it has happened to me to take control of a supporting character, and fight the main protagonist (who had been my avatar up to that point) as an enemy in a battle...

      I am playing Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. And yes Rean is broken af when I use him, so having him used against me was less than ideal. Fortunately, Machias saw fit not to use his pietrifying skill, so that was one less thing to worry about. Fie was decisive as I built her specifically to rely on accuracy manipulation, so she was precise enough to hit Rean and nimble enough to dodge Broken Leaf Cutter.

      I dread to think what would have happened had Elliot been Rean's partner tho. The thought of having Resounding Beat used against me (worse yet, the thought of having a Resounding Beat-boosted REAN used against me) is quite frankly terrifying.
