    Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon is a badass card but... It doesn't look like a dragon at all. More like "Odd-Eyes Weird T-rex Thingy" :/

      It's just the effect of the CG. The rare times it has been shown in regular animation, it didn't look that robotic to me...

      A lot of Ace Monsters in the series have been rendered in CG at one point ever since 5D's. From Stardust Dragon to Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to Red Dragon Archfiend Scar-Right.
