      Well, had I known the full story yeah I wouldn't have thought that

      This game still seems like it would be the kind to have a "rape" scene where you get all dominated by the girl that you wanted to be dominated by anyways

      Well yes and no. The whole point of the game is to resolve the inner turmoils of the girls to help bring out their potential. And Lyner does just that, but the problem is, as he does they both fall in love with him. Aurica was already a mess on her own (like, the girl is SERIOUSLY messed up, words cannot do it justice), and that was BEFORE she developed feelings for Lyner...

      ... So yeah, Lyner is a textbook example of supporting protagonist, he is only there to help the girls, but they are the ones who get most of the character evelopment. And with the whole Cosmosphere thing, their most hidden thoughts and their deepest feelings are not only explored, THEY ARE GIVEN PHYSICAL FORM. Which at one point involves raping poor Lyner. He himself is simply too big of an idiot to desire anything at all...
