While on the phone with me my mother dropped our house's phone, which literally broke in two with a noise VERY similar to a gunshot. To reiterate: I was on the other side, I was listening to her talk, and then suddenly I heard this loud bang and then silence. Imagine what has gone through my mind for a couple of minutes.
