    For people who have played FFX HD Remastered: how important it is to have Wakka with his ultimate weapon/overdrive in late game? Because I see Blitzball hasn't been improved at all, so I'd rather not play it if not strictly necessary...

      Ok lol. Now you did tho... But well, it seems pretty clear to me that you think Wakka is important in end game: does it mean I should play Blitzball? Because honestly, I find that minigame to be a massive waste of time, so I am kinda pissed that the best stuff about Wakka is locked to it...

      No, you don't need anything Blitz offers you. Wakka's natural growth stats make him a monster without his Overdrive (I literally never used it past Seymour second form). The weapons you buy from casual shops + Customization is more than good enough for Wakka to proceed through the game as one of your, if not THE strongest party member aside from Yuna. The only thing Blitz can offer that might help out are Key Spheres. Nothing else is needed for endgame.
