    These festivities haven't been the happiest in my life, considering they are the first I spent as a single after a little more than 3 years (our anniversary would have been on december the 11th hadn't we broken up)...

      Probably some Digimon World Dusk to spend the 3 days, then the whole Disgaea series starting on januarythe 11th, and for the rest of the month/first half of february...

      Sorry.. Just trying to give you a better view of it.. I have been through a similar situation.. And initially it's just video games.. but it can lead you down a darker path if you don't realize that there are two ways to look at things.. Even if it is hard at first, viewing the world as opportunities is better than viewing it as failures.. It's your view and thought that matters.. I just hope that after your gaming marathon you come out as a better version of yourself..

      Of course, it's not like this is my first break up either <.<

      It's just that at the event I was supposed to take part in for NYE, all my friends will come with their respective gfs. If I have to be the only single guy who won't have anyone to kiss at midnight, I'd rather play videogames.
