  1. Just a tip from someone who likes Jolteon.. SAVE BEFORE EVERYTHING! You will regret it..

I don't get it... The sprite is the good one from gen 5 (thanks Ame!)... So, is it because of the useless Quick Feet ability on a Jolteon...?

Just a note, Jolteon is my favorite Pokemon so this is (bad) news for me.

@Energy: Heart Scales are minable anywhere as long as there is a glowing rock. Just soft reset for the things you need.

  2. I can probably script this if people want it.

That would be really nice if you can put it in!

And, maybe when Hidden Power TM is out, there can also be an IV checker that tells the player what HP type it is too? I know we have Kecleons that can be used to find the type, but they can be pretty difficult to find.

  3. For the Cradily, I just spammed Brick Break with Scraggy and let Crobat and Quilava (or any fire pokemon) take care of the rest of the team. First Brick Break took 3/4 of Cradily's HP and it just used Curse on me.

  4. I would not recommend a water type for that fight though, since the leader is guaranteed to have a Vulpix with Drought (I have tried resetting to see if I can get a Flash Fire one for the fight, but no luck). A fighting type move will also hit the Houndoom since it is part Dark and its defenses aren't the best (Scrafty and Mankey/Primeape).

  5. Hey guys, I'm having a hard time starting the shiftry-event in rhodochrine jungle (did I spell that right?). Whatever the wheater, the gang just doesn't appear... and I really want to catch a nuzleaf

That's strange. The Shiftry event should appear when it is windy weather; I found them when it was windy during the daytime. Maybe you were searching in a wrong place?

The Shiftry and Nuzleaf can be found after you pass through a cave in the Beryl Cemetery (you need Rock Smash to get to that cave). That cave is on the ledge above you when you are going to the cemetery.

  6. I really like ev training in Tanzan Cove if anyone happens to be that far in the game. Most pokemon will be around mid 30s to mid 40s.

There are Ledian that give 2 Sp. Def EVs in the morning. I believe the chances of finding them are the same as Ledyba, but I haven't tried searching for Ledyba yet.

Throughout the whole day, there are Gloom and Oddish for Sp. Atk EVs (+2 and +1 respectively).

For mixed attackers, there are Bellsprout giving +1 Atk. and +1 Sp. Atk.

    Weepingbell gives +2 Atk.

Finally, there are Goldeen and Seaking for the +1 and +2 Atk respectively if you fish with the Old Rod; Basculin and Luvdisc for +2 and +1 Spd respectively with the Good Rod.

  7. See thats my problem i used the saloon like 4 times already and im out of money

You can try and train up a Meowth until level 30 so that it learns Pay Day and money grind with it. Meowths can be found at night in the grass next to the building in Opal Ward (where we got our starter). I haven't ran into money problems yet thanks to it. And if you have a pokemon with Pickup ability (Pachirisu, Teddiursa), you can keep them in your party to see if you can get items to sell once a battle is over. While money grinding, it can also give Budew some happiness points since you will be running around.

  8. Aya also has a Nidoqueen that knows Earth Power and a Gengar whose moveset I don't know of (I had a Gardevoir destroy it with a boosted Psychic once it came in). That Drapion is a pain for me to deal with since it knows both Aqua Tail and Night Slash for my Ground and Psychic pokemon, and it's pretty bulky to begin with. It may help to equip Brightpowders to your pokemon for that occasional miss as well.

  9. Just wanted to report a game crash that happened in the Byxbysion Ward when I headbutted a tree with Linoone. I was able to find a Pineco before when I was exploring for fun, but I have no idea what happened here. If it helps, I was on the path where Mudkip would be. I'll see if I can get a screenshot of that tree since I saved after I found beat Mr. Bigglesworth and I remember my steps (somewhat). I didn't have the animated sprites on either.

Here it is~ Right outside of that cave. I have been trying it out again to see if the error will reoccur, but so far it seemed normal when I found a Pineco.

  10. Hi, new member here but started playing Pokemon Reborn a month ago. ^^

Sorry to bring the Ditto thing again, but I am also having the same problem as Stan4Life. I saved the Daycare couple and got the Happiny before I helped Amaria with the Abandoned Factory (all in episode 8 before 9 came out). However, I never found Ditto even after I updated to 9. All of the other pokemon are still in the cages. I also tried redownloading the game today and still no Ditto anywhere, but I don't see a grunt anywhere in the factory either... Does finding Ditto have something to do with the weather or some other even I didn't get up to?

As for Episode 10, a move tutor would be really nice and maybe a VS Seeker. I don't really mind if there is no change since this game challenges me a lot more than main games.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out! I didn't go to the warehouse where Happiny is to find that grunt (and no, he is not going to battle you). I skipped over the warehouse part of Sushup's post by accident.
