Well that was an easy fight. I started off with Juggles and trapped her Dwebble in an encore and then I used Light screen. Shelly wasted all her potions on keeping the Dwebble alive which was pointless because Psybeam 2 hit ko'd it. She used Yanmega right after that so I switched to Jester and used Calm Mind. Yanmega outspeed me after one speed boost but Air Slash killed it in one hit, same with the Scyther, Masquerian, and Wormadam. But then Jester reached level 36 and started disobeying me! So he was pretty much out of the rest of the fight. I trapped the Volbeat in a encore when it used Tail Glow and then I spammed Psybeam until it was dead. I just hope Shade goes down just as easy.

This is it! Time to fight Shelly! I manage to get a lot of good items on the way. I saved that kid from the driftloon and Venipedes and got the second store sticker, so I bought a lot of hold items. My Linoone also found two King's Rocks. Here my team now. did start or did you catch Mudkip? its not weak to ice. Quagsire and Semistoad are also good choices.

Well I won but I don't feel that proud about it. Basically when the Cradily started spamming curse, I started spamming Double Team with Kirlia. Cradily never touched me, and luckily Flo never thought to use Recover for some reason. I really need that Mime.Jr and Spoink. My team right now is extremely fragile and I need to get some strategy up in here!

Uh...I definitely need Mr.Mime and his annoying encore. How do I get the mime jr event to start? Because at this point Cradily just walls me no matter what I do. Her other pokemon are easy but that thing is a monster.

Ok time for Flobot. I must say I had to use a lot of uncommon candies in this run, due to me only have three pokemon at the moment. I wanted to breed Kadabra and Kirlia together for another Ralts but it turns out they're not in the same egg group. Oh well, its better to wait for Duskull anyway, so my Gallade will have Shadow Sneak. Anyway here's my team for the battle

I would rather Starmie but yeah a water psychic would be extremely helpful. So far I've already ran into difficulties, those Scraggys kicked my ass. I needed to level grind Jester(my Swoobat) to 21 so it could get Air Cutter and I evolved Angel(Kirlia) for extra def. I was still a close fight when Scrafty came in. Luckily Sleeper(Kadabra) was able to finish it with Charge Beam

that is my greatest nightmare at the moment....I can get Solrock and Grumpig by then right?

Ok just beat Julia and holy crap that was a pretty funny fight. I forgot how terrible Voltorb's Atk was. A explosion from a lvl 13 voltorb couldn't one shot a level 15 Ralts. Also both of us got extremely lucky. She got a special atk raise each charge beam, and I confused both her Electrode and Chinchou. Her rollouts also never got past 2.

So because I'm a masochist for this type of difficultly, I've decided to go ahead and do a monotype run of the already difficult game. I chose Psychic type because its one of the two types I'm most familiar with.(The second being ghosts) At this point in time I'm about to fight Julia with my team of three.

The only threatening pokemon Shade really has is Rotom and Gengar because they're so speedy. I'm doing the run right now and I'm level grinding a bidoof for Abra. My strategy is going to be having my Swoobat use charge beam and getting lucky when for the sp.atk, then having Kadabra finish off whatever's left. Lol I completely forgot about Spiritomb....maybe I should do a dark team instead. Stunktank and Murkow can handle things right?

Did you get that Vulpix from the salon? If it has drought you can just throw it out after you kill the Abomasnow and have perma sunny day on, helping your houndoom. Her strategy requires hail being on constantly so it neuters her completely

THERE'S A EXP.SHARE IN THE GAME CORNER?!?! Aww man I wish I knew that earlier. Training a Magikarp and a Ralts through switch training is not fun! Of course I could never get though, my luck on the slots sucks and I've never legitimately got any of the prize pokemon in the main games. I usually just buy the dumb coins

I've been playing this game for about a few weeks, but I've remained silent on the forums due to being shy. Most competitive battling sites are really aggressive it seems. But it seems like the people on this site are nice enough for me to join the conversations and not berate me forever whatever dumbass or incorrect thing I might say. I like mostly turn based and action RPGs, Pokemon and "Tales of..." being my favorites. Its nice to meet you Reborn community

This I am always poor in this game. I also wish there was an easier way to get Ultra balls without the point system at the dept. store. -an exp.share, lucky egg, or vs.seeker either one would be nice -a Snivy event(2nd favorite starter) -full screen mode

I just used my Magnazone and my Gryados as back up. The only threat I faced was his rotom and its damn confuse ray. In face most bosses are challenging solely because of confuse ray spam

Its a wolf with a scythe on its head. All the angsty kids eat that stuff up. Hell when D/P came out Absol and Weavile were my favorite pokemon because they were "dark".

It sucks that this is just a special like the Raikou one. I hope it does really well, maybe convince Nintendo to retire the old anime and bring in a more story based one.
