  1. Fighting/Steel for best type. Lucario is awesome <3
  2. I just went to look at Shofu's first video of this game: Yep, there's definitely missing graphics in the intro, except it's also missing in episode 9. At least in the versions I have installed. (Here's that Shofu video I'm talking about (It's episode 7)): http://youtu.be/EDh36vmpJJM?t=3m15s (And you've already got SSs of 9.5/9.0 in this thread, so there's no need to take any more) Anyways, we've pretty much confirmed there's missing graphics to fix
  3. I never realized this wasn't intended. Especially considering that episode 9 looks exactly the same (at least for me). Unless I'm misunderstanding the issue here (if I understand correctly, it's just that blank screen thing, and doesn't actually stop you from playing the game -correct me if I'm wrong). Is there supposed to be a preview of your character or something? 'Cause that doesn't show up on any of my installs :/ (I can still select gender and enter a name, then play the game, no problem).
  4. I am now done playing through episode 9. I have only found one more thing to report: I guess you can climb walls
  5. I found more "stuck in building" glitches. From testing out this one I'll say that those are actually wrong warps (The game puts your character in the wrong spot when you exit a building, though the camera is in the right place). This is the building that does it (it's in Chrysolia forest, though it gets teleported there from Spinel town). And here is where you end up (it's near the entrance to the forest). If you just move left and right you can get the camera to scroll back to your character. You can also have random encounters when you're not on screen, but that doesn't change anything (encounters work as normal and they don't affect where the character or the camera are). You can't actually get out of that place because there are trees blocking the way.
  6. And I'm finally done making that video (that took a while lmao): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AfYUuX50cM While I was doing that, I did a lag comparison (I had video footage so why not) and here's my conclusion: There is actually no difference in lag between both versions. The time it takes to get from the start of the forest to the end is the same. In fact, 9.5 is about a second faster. However, the lag feels worse in 9.5, mostly because of the special effects. While the overall time to get through the forest is the same, the special effects are slower in 9.5. There's actually a point in the video where I take a wrong turn because a tree took longer to appear.
  7. Ok, so, I just watched shofu newest video and I think there may be a bit of an issue with Chrysolia forest that makes it a lot harder to figure out in 9.5 (It's still solvable, but much harder). I'm going to make a video comparing both and post it here, be back in a while.
  8. That would be why lol. Damnit shofu
  9. I got more details in what I just posted, it's the last picture in the Spinel/Tanzan spoiler
  10. Ok here's another compilation post Apophyll: The underground railnet and the old Yureyu building: Byxbysion: Spinel/Tanzan (I am still progressing through this area, but this is what I got so far): That's all for pictures, still got a couple more things to say though: The room where you can use the boat in the Coral ward has no music of it's own, it just keeps playing whichever music was playing before (could be Azurine island music, Apophyll beach music, Coral ward music or even Bicycle music (in the case of the bicycle music, it will keep playing even if you get off the bike, most likely because there is nothing else to default to)). I'm pretty sure that no music would play if you saved in there, but I have not tested that. Also, I loaded my save in episode 9 so that I could access the buildings that get you stuck in Spinel town, and while I was doing that I noted a couple things: 1. In episode 9, there was a lot more things that would disappear in Spinel town. 2. When I was on episode 9, there is a train that appeared inside the town. I don't know what triggered it, but it wasn't there in 9.5 (However, when I loaded in 9.5 again, the train stayed there, so, I assume that the trigger to make it appear is missing in 9.5) 3. I went back into the forest, just so I could compare the lag with 9.5. I confirm that 9.5 lags more than 9, as strange as that is (there were more special effects with the disappearing things, and it was just running better in general) Last thing to say: As a general note, I have found significantly less movement glitches since the Abandoned factory than I was finding before that. Good job on that Also, not sure if I mentioned it before, but, when you go to the abandoned factory, Deliverance makes stairs of ice so you can go onto the roof. From watching other people play on youtube, I'm pretty sure those stairs are supposed to stay there, but, for me, they disappeared after I got the Harbor key. Not sure why, or if it affects anything, or if I'm just bad at remembering what happens in youtube videos.
  11. Well guys, the Spinel Town OoB glitch is pretty crazy: Most hilarious and broken glitch I've seen so far XD (I don't think it does anything useful though, just gets you stuck there eventually) I'll post all the other stuff I've found since the factory later tonight. Just a little thing: Chrysolia forest was extremely laggy for me, by far the worst I've encountered so far, also I think it was missing a few visual special effects with the moving trees, I'm not sure if they're all supposed to glow when they get teleported away but most of them just appeared out of nowhere. EDIT: If you don't know what I mean by "Spinel town OoB glitch", this is what I'm referring to: Turns out you can move around when that happens and with a bit of work you can get all the way to the left side of the map. I don't think you can go right. (Also, just in case you didn't know, OoB stands for Out of Bounds)
  12. You first find Zorua in the magma gang alley on a windy night. After that, you go to each alley (in a set order) on a clear day and you will find it.

Well I didn't find any rocks in the caves. How many caves are there?
  14. Assuming you're talking about me with the underground railnet issue, sending it to you via PM right now EDIT: Also 2 things I forgot to add to my last glitch report post (some spoilers, kind of):
  15. Well I got the same thing, so that pretty much confirms it's caused by the early abandoned factory EDIT: So, apparently, you can continue on with the story if you just go to the abandoned factory and finish that part. Though I don't have Shade's badge or the shadow ball TM so this may be a little though XD (common candy ftw?)

There are no rocks in rhodochrine jungle (well I didn't find any). Also, there is one in the cave by Shade's gym
  17. Ok so here's what I got today from the Lapis ward and the Grand Staircase (didn't find as much stuff as in jasper and beryl): Some minor things: Those may contain some spoilers. Also, I know someone already posted a picture showing that you can walk over the crack that is in front of the orphanage in the Lapis ward, but just to clarify, the entire crack just doesn't exist. It's not that there's one spot you can walk over, it just doesn't do anything at all. One more thing (contains minor spoilers: the location of certain pokemon): EDIT: I played a bit more today after posting those, I don't have any new pictures but I got some extra comments About the police officers (may be spoilers) About the grand staircase Also you can walk over most of the gravestones in the Beryl cemetary (and to interact with the ones that you can walk on, you actually have to be on top of them instead of in front) Oh yeah and I got something really fricken cool:
  18. Big post incoming, this is all the pictures I got from the Jasper and Beryl wards. (They are all put into spoilers so they don't take as much space in the thread) So, first, let's just go over all the little things that are pretty much just visual oddities. They do nothing in terms of gameplay (as far as I know) and they really are just personal opinion when it comes to things you should or should not be able to walk over. Now, on to the ones that may affect gameplay a little. Some extra things that I find kind of odd about the police in these wards (SPOILERS!): I hope some of those are useful/new. Question: Should I keep taking pictures of all those weird things I encounter or are they not really important/worth fixing (or if they've already been fixed and I'm not aware)?
  19. There are some weird things happening in the rhodochrine jungle of the beryl ward... Some REALLY weird things lol. Explanations of my drawings: Black circle: pretty obvious, visual glitch, the cliff is sticking out of the bridge. No impact on anything. Red outline: Coming from the cage (going under the bridge) if you move left and right at the red dot you can move along the bridge and the character sprite will be sticking out of the bridge. You can't get off that line unless you are on the red dot. Blue outline: Again coming from the cage, this is where strange things start happening. If you stand on the blue dot, you can move to the left or right just like with the red line, but it's a bit different. if you get off the bridge by going far in either direction you clip up the bridge and you can then move anywhere as if you had reached the bridge normally. But that's not all I have to report about this bridge! If you clip upstairs with the blue dot method and then move along the bridge where the red outline is, when you come back down by using the stairs and walking through grass the bridge now has a solid hitbox and you can no longer pass underneath. Even if you go back to the start of the jungle to get teleported to the cage you can't pass under the bridge anymore (Read: you are stuck up there). I have also once been able to move to the small cliff with the bush above the cave entrance but I have not been able to reproduce this Oh and I also have a backup save file from right before activating this glitch (though I was dumb and cut the tree first, not sure if it does anything at all) if anyone wants it to experiment with this glitch. P.S.: I got a ton of pictures of movement glitches from the Jasper ward, going to be posting all of those soon (whenever I'm done with this play session, basically) EDIT: And here's another broken bridge in the same area! Color code: Green dot: There's a tree you can cut here, it was already cut when I took the picture so there's a green dot instead. Red outline: Just like the one above, you can move along this area. This is coming from under the bridge (either way works) and you can clip up from the filled up area. Unlike above you are not limited in movement. Blue outline: Again, just like the one above, this is the one that does strange stuff. It works just like the red outline, however you can cut the tree and move further down than with the red path. If you do, you clip up the bridge. Unlike the other bridge, this one does not become solid so there is no real impact other than saving a bit of walking through grass (and, obviously, being god and walking through bridges and cliffs) Something I forgot to outline: you can walk left from the first tile below the filled up area and walk onto the cliff and into the tree (you can walk about 3 tiles left from the red area)
  20. Ok I just found a movement glitch that actually does strange things in Jasper ward. You can jump UP this ledge (this is at the beginning of the Malchous forest). Heather is invisible but you can still interact with her. She says what she usually says after you beat the tangrowth then flies off on salamence (when salamence does his roar thingy and Heather jumps on him they both appear before flying away). After that the tangrowth disappears but Taka stays there. I have not tried talking to him yet. The plants all over the city DO NOT disappear. Also you can walk through some of the trees in that area where Heather is, though that doesn't do anything.
  21. C-c-c-c-c-combo breaker! I have a movement glitch to report as well! Apparently you can walk into this spot. (It's in one of the warehouses in the coral ward)
  22. I was not talking about this Hotshot, I was talking about the one behind the tree you can cut at the start of obsidia ward (if you come from the grand hall). But yeah it's just that my computer is terrible. I was just wondering if there was anything specific that causes it, but apparently not (I'm not using animated sprites).
  23. Weird bug to report: I battled the trainer that stands in front of an alleyway that you can only access with cut at the beginning of the obsidia ward (his name was hotshot vinny) and during the fight the music stopped and when I walked into the alleyway I got a "Script is taking too long" crash. After reloading the save it works just fine and I can walk into the alley with no problem. I had a backup so I tried fighting that guy again but there was no crash that time (I used the same moves too). Still wondering what happened
  24. Ah I was not aware of that, now it's fixed, thank you
  25. *sarcasm* Cheating breaks the game, how unexpected! *sarcasm*
