  1. Group 4 (K_H, Surge, Jory, Azery, Lucky Elf) The golden Arbok hissed in pain and let go of the wrap attack. He started to struggle a lot and finally managed to escape Colere’s might jaws. Arbok hissed in anger and frustration one more time before taking off. The others, including the ones that were ganging up on the Dratini, followed their leader. “Man, they still are as weak as ever. I guess they never learn,” a female voice said from behind Claude. Phoebe was standing there with a disapproving look on her face as her eyes followed the slithering snakes. “Anyway, you two could use some teamwork if you run into a stronger opponent, but for now let’s head back to camp.” She motioned her head towards the rest of the waiting students and left both boys behind. In the meantime Roman managed to calm the angry Dragonite down so Kenny could leave the lake. He wrapped a towel around the wet student and made sure he was alright before leading him back to camp. Phoebe and the others students, including Claude and James, followed after them and when they arrived they were greeted by students who returned earlier. Only group two was still on their trip. ExLink and Zephyr Lana released her other Pokémon when Raiza joined them; a sleeping Rhyhorn, a Nidorina that started to push against Lana’s leg to get some attention, a Turtwig that started to sniff the Rhyhorn and a blue Shellos who was happily looking around. She scratched Flare on his head and looked at Slade’s chin to avoid eye contact. “These are my Pokémon. You might’ve seen Rhy sleeping somewhere when I was around Danielle…”
  2. Yes. As soon as I get group 4 back to the camp everything will become clear. The only thing I need to finish with them is the Arbok battle and K_H's event.
  3. Thanks ^^ I'm not sure when I start because paperwork is stupid but I'll let you all know because it will influence the updates. And Dobby: I'm going to give Azery a chance to reply first since your battle is almost over as well.
  4. Group 3 (TurboAura, Tses, Tacos) Both Pokémon collided and fell on the ground, exhausted and unable to battle. The combination of the Dragon Rage and Rough Skin was just a little too much for Jet to take or else he would’ve won. Thirty minutes later the group arrived back at the camp where they were greeted by the students of group one. ExLink Lana turned around when she heard her name and saw Slade walking over with his hands in his pockets. “Oh uhm hey Slade,” she said with a soft voice. When he asked her about her trip she stayed quiet for a second, thinking back at what Kage said not so long ago. She decided to keep it a secret, it wasn’t really her business, and mentioned her new Pokémon. “Not really, I caught a Turtwig and Shellos, but that’s it…” She stared at her shoes. She felt a little awkward and wondered why Slade came over to talk to her.
  5. Yes. But again: no one over 21. I want to keep things equally leveled for the Winter Cup. I don't mind either way. What Commander said makes sense so I might go for the draw.
  6. I'm moving everyone back when the battle is finished. Robert's next attack will hit and knock Gible out. If I'm not around you can say you got back to camp. (Group 3 only)
  7. Group 1 (Bfroger, Murdoc, Zephyr, EXLink) A whistle could be heard to signal the group was about to head back. Celebi heard the screeching noise and gave Kage a quick hug before disappearing. She would surely see him again. After everyone gathered the group went back to camp. Along the way Brendan started to collect the artworks, from those that actually bothered doing it, and was done as soon as they arrived. The group was first and had some free time until the others arrived. ((Those that wish to describe their art can do so. I'm gathering everyone up anyway so you're free to interact)) Group 3 (TurboAura, Tses, Tacos) The Gibles jumped at every Pokéblock they could find. Each and every one of them stuffed their mouths full. Alastair walked between them while gathering the students and announcing it was time to head back. In the meantime the ongoing battle between Robert and his opponent was almost over. The Gust attack managed to hit Gible head on and the dragon stumbled. He fired a Dragon Rage at Jet and started to pant. Elf and Azery The golden Arbok dodged the Stomp attack but was caught by the following bite. He hissed in anger and started to wrap himself around Colere, trying to escape the bite. Dratini’s Dragon Rage was enough to knock out one of the snakes. The other one quickly slithered towards the dragon and tried to wrap her body around him.
  8. I've got the job! xD And to stay on topic: I'm going to use 'he' or 'she' when referring to Pokémon from now on. I used 'it' a lot and that doesn't feel right. I know Legendary Pokémon like Celebi are genderless but I'm not familiar with using Xem or something like that so I'm giving them a gender.
  9. Sand Attacks to blur Jet's vision and to find him when the sand makes contact. @Commander: I didn't think of that.. But that would mean the Arbok battle would be over. They only have to beat the golden one for the rest to retreat. Edit 2: Updates are a little later. I got through to the second round to get that job. Not sure what to expect but it's in 3 hours.
  10. Against a trainer it forces a switch because the frequency messes around with Pokéballs mechanics. In the wild the opposing Pokémon would back off for a minute. I can't really switch the Arbok for another one without giving a decent explanation. So I'm going with the Pokéball theory for Roar.
  11. Turbo and Tses The remaining Gible dodged the Gust attack and failed to find Jet’s location immediately. It looked around and started to fling sand in every direction like some sort of a defensive shield. Elf and Azery The roar was loud enough to startle the golden Arbok. The snake retreated a little and raised its head; hissing in anger and waiting for another moment to strike. Murdoc and Zephyr “Oh I completely forgot about the assignment,” Lana said. “I’m coming with you. I think I’ll just make a picture of my team.” She was about to follow her childhood friend when she quickly glanced to Kage. She was a little worried about him and wondered why the Celebi would do such a thing and if the vision would come true. After both girls were gone Celebi came from behind the rock just a little bit, but it was enough for Lucas to trace its presence.
  12. You mean the original target for the second stomp attack? That one is already gone. Right now it's 3 vs 2 and Colere's opponent is the only one that can go 1 vs 1. The other Arbok's don't stand a chance. (Also the reason why they were ganging up in the first place)
  13. Turbo and Tses The male Gible took the Tackle head on, damaging Slowpoke with his Rough Skin. It kept the Slowpoke close and fired a Dragon Rage from point blank range. There was no way to avoid this one. The female was in a far worse situation. The Wing attack hit her full on and when she tried to retaliate, she added to the damage she took. Exhausted and with not much resistances left she laid down and spread her arms in defeat. Elf and Azery Arbok barely dodged Colere’s Stomp attack. The snake quickly regained its composure and wanted to create some distance, when the shiny leader showed up from between some rocks. Its fangs were dripping with poison as it lunged at Colere. The normal Arbok got scared and quickly retreated, not wanting to enter a battle where the golden one was involved. Under cover of the flying poison stings the two Arbok’s slithered towards Dratini. As long as their leader kept the big one busy they stood a chance against the small dragon. They avoided the thunder wave and both of them prepared for a Bite attack. The first one went for Dratini’s head while the other waited two seconds before going for the body.
  14. Turbo and Tses The female Gible had no way to escape. She was still confused and ran around in random directions when she was hit by the Water Gun. She tried to retaliate with a Dragon Rage, but due to her confusion the attack was fired in a random direction. The male was still hiding underground. He decided the Slowpoke had the most annoying tricks up his sleeve. The little dragon made his way back to the surface and popped up right under the Slowpoke. ((dig)) Elf and Azery It was impossible for Arbok to dodge an attack from point blank range. First it was paralyzed by the Dratini, releasing the wrap attack, and then it was hit by a stomp attack. The snake lost its flexibility and took a lot of damage and decided to retreat. The others could deal with those pesky opponents. The two that fired Poison Stings at Colere turned their faces and continued with their attacks. Both Colere and Dratini were in the line of fire while the third one was still waiting for the opening to Bite one of its opponents. K_H The human ignored her? And the scrawny trainer was even arrogant enough to start another fight right under her nose. The water battle disrupted the peaceful Dratinis and scared some of them. A loud roar stirred the waters and blew Kenny and his team even further in the lake. Dragonite took off and hovered right above them; snarling in anger. Jory and Surge Skrelp didn’t have any energy left to try and dodge the incoming attack. The poison type was hit and floated into the water, embarrassed it lost to an egg. A few other water Pokémon stared at the weird swimming style while another Skrelp went close and started laughing. Tacos That was cheating! The hostage wasn’t supposed to try and escape and Flygon made things extra easy for the human! All seven Gibles started to pursue Ryan in an attempt to kidnap Glacien. They jumped and tried to grab Flygon to pull the adult dragon down.
  15. Small update: as soon as the ongoing battles are finished I'm moving ahead. People that wanted to have another battle can have one with the Donphan's.
  16. Flygon can enter the pit. And that's half right. Celebi knew Kage longer and listened to the request. It would never show itself to Ryan unless absolutely necessary.
  17. “I finished the treatment,” Logan informed Lars. “Now we just need to wait for Crusader to wake up and see the results.”
  18. I still have to update Evan's pokes... And group 2 doesn't get much action until the others are finished.
  19. “Now that’s a relief,” Trystane said sarcastically. He doubted any of them could even harm Rossephus. He removed Cesealia’s knife from his belt and twirled it around in between his fingers. “Care to explain what you and Cesealia were planning?” He looked Eric directly in his eyes and his tone changed from casual to slight anger. “And no funny business; you asked for our help and led us here but never bothered sharing the plan which could endanger us all. I call that a form of betrayal…”
  20. Turbo and Tses The male Gible tried to run away from the Yawn attack and went underground. It stayed there for a while and waited for an opening. The female dragon wasn’t doing any better. She was too close to avoid the Supersonic and her Slash attack barely scraped Jet because of it. She fell on the ground and walked around with her paws (or claws?) in front of her. The world turned around and she had no idea what was going on. Her Sandstorm died down without her realizing it. Elf and Azery The few remaining Ekans were blown away by the Twister. Colere’s rocks kept the four Arbok’s from helping them and made them even angrier. This time they all rose their heads and tried to intimidate their opponents by using the patterns on their hoods. Suddenly one of them slithered forward and tried to wrap itself around Dratini. Another one was waiting for an opening with open mouth, ready to sink its teeth into the small Dragon (Bite) The third and fourth stayed a little behind and fired Poisonous Stings at Colere. Out of view, between the rocks, was a golden one sneaking around. The leader was much bigger and stronger than the ones currently fighting. ExLink The woman sighed. “You’re going to regret this.” Her tone wasn’t threatening. “If you want to stay in the school then stay. You’ll be average at best. It’s a shame really because you’re on the right path and showed potential. The school and their ways will destroy that.” She shook her head in disappointment. “I recognize a lost cause when I see one. Let’s go,” she said to her partner. The big guy nodded and summoned the Tangrowth. The Pokémon obeyed and followed the two Team Rocket members into the woods as they were reporting back to whoever was on the receiving end of that moderated Pokédex. Jory and Surge The forceful wind attack scared Skrelp. It never imagined that a stupid little egg could muster so much power. It quickly went underwater but was still blown away by the strong torrents. When it came back on the surface it started to pant heavily and barely managed to keep going. Another blob of Acid made its way to the Togepi while Skrelp could only hope it would knock out the egg. Zephyr and Murdoc Lana’s hand was covering her mouth for a while now. She was shocked when she heard Kage’s story and a part of her just wanted to cry. Another part, the curiosity, wanted to hear more. Celebi peeked from behind a rock while making sure to stay out of Lana and Raiza’s field of vision. The time traveler was surprised Kage was so open about what it showed him and was willing to share it with two complete strangers. Of course there had been other humans fighting alongside them, but Celebi never showed itself to anyone except Kage and Ryan. And even then the latter only saw it once because of Kage’s request. Tacos The two Gibles that fell in the pit started to laugh and roll around with Glacien. They managed to get on top of the Ice type while a third stood in front of it, waving its paw (claw?) to forbid Ryan from entering. Two others joined him and pretended to stand guard. The remaining two still chased after him and tried to push him away from where Glacien was. The game had changed. Glacien was their ‘prisoner’ and Ryan had to try and save his Pokémon. ((7 in total))
  21. I actually wrote that part before you edited everything out. I told you I could whoop your ass in 3 posts because you created a situation where you and your time were 5 vs 1 for each of them. While it is possible that Goomies and Dratinis have an argument,it is unlikely they would get hostile to the extent you wrote. I solved it by letting a Dragonite appear to see how your PC would behave and solve that situation peacefully. (If you went offensive Dragonite would've swept your team). I decided to keep your update for the next day with the others because I noticed I make more mistakes when it comes to writing later at night. So I included your update when I woke up and didn't read back. Turbo pointed out you changed everything. I told him I kept it as a misunderstanding with the Dragonite and that the Oshawott's were the ones to upset the Dratinis. I thought about PMing you but I saw your name in this thread under 'reading this topic' and decided against it. Now about what Surge said: I already mentioned that you do exactly what he said. You ignore every encounter I try to give you and show no interest when I give you first move (I wing some of the encounters like the Arbok situation right now). I even went along with something you created to try and get you involved in the story again. At this point I have no idea how to handle you or your character. Yeah use it against the host. Kick his ass again (xD) About that birthday; I'm honestly not sure if Slade gets a present from Lana this year. I said at the beginning it was in the PCs best interest to befriend her for this exact reason...
  22. You tried Nanowrimo? xD It's just funny because she PM'd me once and said: 'Wall of text incoming'. It fits 3/4 times in her last post.
  23. What Commander said. And damn. DarkLight is writing a novel.
  24. Turbo and Tses The screech startled the Gible and released his Bite attack. Not far from them the female that was going against the Slowpoke was forced to dodge her own attack, bringing the two Gible’s next to each other. This time the male dived into the ground and popped up behind Sherlock, releasing his own Dragon Rage attack. The female, who was faster, went after Jet. She created a sandstorm and became even faster before jumping towards Jet to Slash the flying type. Elf and Azery Claude’s plan failed. A few of the weak Ekans went after the berries but the strong Arbok’s remained where they were, raising their heads and hissing in anger. ExLink The scarfs were hiding the grins on both agents’ faces. If Slade gave in to his anger it might be even easier to convince him. Unfortunately they didn’t have all data on his backstory so they had no idea he left because his parents couldn’t stand a fire type. The female was first to recover from that piece of vital information. “You might feel that everyone abandoned you and you have every right to be mad. I would be if I was in your situation. But what did you achieve by just running away? If you stay powerless you can’t change anything. We, Team Rocket, will gain power and change the world how we see fit. No more bullshit about people being abandoned based on the type of their Pokémon.” She smirked again and this time her scarf moved along. “Don’t you want to prove your hometown, your friends and most of all your parents wrong? Don’t you want to show them how strong you and Flare can become? All you need is power… I told you before, Slade, you might not realize it, but you walk the same path as us. You want to change things so no one else has to experience something like you’ve been through. Subconsciously you’re seeking power!” Jory and Mareek The Extrasensory attack hit, doing a lot of damage, and made Skrelp snap out of its confusion. It started to get angry as well and released a poisonous substance at the Togepi. (Acid)
  25. Try and work together as good as you can because you'll need it in the future... And a small heads up to avoid later confusion: Evan is going to end up with 6 Pokémon during this trip. 4 of them are his team: Vaporeon, Clefairy, Meditite (soon) and Vulpix (underleveled) 2 others are given to him and will influence his decisions. One will be seriously underleveled and isn't there to battle. The other is slightly overleveled to tempt him into using it and basically giving in into RoGs ways. So now you know. You can all influence his choice about which one to keep though. (Or both if you manage to get him to accept his earlier mistakes)
