Has anyone been able to find, or can anyone confirm that Archen and Tirtouga are still obtainable on Version 8.1? I've mined the mysterious rocks for what feels like an eternity and haven't run into either of their fossils once. Were they both axed at some point?
While it hasnt been confimed yet, i think only the Gen 1 fossils are obtainable through mining. I've found Kabuto and Omanyte, but thats it. Gen 6 fossils obtainable thru side mission

Um i have two questions so are we going to find out who madame x is in version 9 and is she someone that we know or will come to later in the game
We've all been speculating for a long ass time lol, there are some clues, but they dont lead to much. tbh she could be like 4 different characters we already know lol, or an entirely new one. I'm sure it'll be a huge surprise so we prolly won't find out for a while haha. Most have been thinking Melia cuz she could literally be anyone in this game lol, others say madame x is an old friend of your mother, others say she is your mother lol

Did phantump's location change? Because I don't see the tree that is referred to in the location guide, and I am looking at nighttime. If it hasn't been moved, can someone post a screenshot of exactly where it should be?? Thanks
it hasnt been moved, its still behind the waterfall in Goldenleaf town( go inside the house right next to the waterfall to get there), make sure you have a treat with you and must be at night

Is the only way to get the Electirizer still to SR at the Elekid until it spawns with one? Or has another way been added.

Using Healing items on dead pokemon, ends your turn. I meant to heal another pokemon, but scrolled too fast and chose a dead one, then my turn ended. Coulda sworn this got fixed a couple versions ago though

a lot of flying types can't learn Pluck through TM
I believe this is becuase Pluck is no longer a TM in Gen 6, and this game uses Gen 6 mechanics, so even thought they were able to learn it in previous generations, they cant learn it now

I know some of us have restarted to see all the new changes of V8, so when doing the Kecleon Help quest, instead of the cave like background we got in the previous versions, the background now is pitch black, and you cant really tell where you're going, then you just get attacked outta nowhere by a horde of kecleon and GG lol. Now I have no idea if this was intentional or not, and perhaps we require Flash to light up the room, i'm not sure tho, has anybody else tried it yet?

need help here, i can catch and lvl somewhat fast with audinos, just which pokemon should i get (and where are they located)
I hope you're down for some team reconstruction, cuz this aint enough to beat amber. First I'd suggest that you drop some of you're least favorite pokemon on your team, if I were you I'd pretty much drop everything except Blaziken and Golurk, I know it seems a bit much but when you're entering the next stage of this game, you'll need better pokemon. Look over the location gudie and find some nice strong water pokemon you want, something like Ludicolo, Gastrodon, Quagsire, or whatever water pokemon you get from the Akora Shore sidequest (its supposed to be a oshawott, but I heard it got replaced with a totodile). Also I suggest you get your mystery egg, there's a pretty good chance you'll find something useful for your team. You need to catch a phantump and trade it for an egg on the route right before Goldenleaf town. Then from there, just find stong pokemon you like, and stuff that'll be useful for this gym. Setting up rain dance frequently and having strong pokemon are pretty much the key to beating this gym

Get rid of whril pool or Aqua tail on Floatzel and teach it rain dance, you should have that tm. If it has swift swim then that's great, if not use an ability capsule if you want. it'll outspeed everything and do big damage with surf. If you have a water boosting item or a damp rock give it to floatzel as well. Lead with that and your Noivern and spam Hurricane lol. Should be a good lead combo, it would be better if you had another water type tho, having rain dance on multiple pokemon will help you a lot in this battle, because you have to neutralize her OP field effects. Try switching up your mons too, if you notice that a specific pokemon is uselss replace it with a pokemon useful for the gym like a water or rock type. hope this helps

Not bad, i've decided to do a Dark monotype run of V8 myself, I also just beat Venam. Keta and Spirit Keta are gonna be a bitch tho, idk how ima beat him

Its too late to change the difficulty of your game, unless you send your file to someone. You set it at the beginning of the game.
I like rejuvenation really hard because its a really good game...
but i have the feeling its getting too hard too fast at some point
like when you battle ren at the backup lab you can really use a strategy but with crawli right after litterally obliterating 2/3 of your team with only heracross
don't get me wrong i really like the game and the diffelculty but i'm struggeling with crawli for almost 2 weeks
People keep forgetting that there is a thread for this lol, post your team there and the gym you're struggling with, so you can receive help

Ok so i've probably read all the books in order about 3 times now, and I've already followed clefairy into the room and got the tm and key, but now the clefairy has disappeared for good and I'm still unable to push a boulder into the hole in front of the door. Am i missing something?

For a short version, it sure was a good one. Felt like we did so much in a short amount of time, which aint bad at all. Loved how the forest connected to like 5 different areas. Like eveyone else I agree Flora was definitely more challenging still pretty easy tho, since fairy types are super OP on that field just moonblasted everything. Also decided to keep Flora under the radar, its more fun that way lol. Now I dont think Krystal is the champ, but looks like theres about to be some lati twin action with her and Nim. V9 should be pretty lit

Not sure if this bug is already known, but when using Hidden Power with a Protean pokemon like Greninja, it just changes the typing to Normal which is impossible lol, I wonder why it won't use it's IVs
