I didn't answer, because I wasn't sure x) I have never caught a Ghost type before the first gym, but I'm definitely no expert so I could be wrong on there not being any before the first. And I'm still not seeing Petilil /: I changed to different days and weathers and it wasn't there in windy, clear or rainy weather. So I'm back to checking my sunny day and I'll try different hours. If I still can't I'll probably go ahead and pass on searching for it actively for now. Thank you all for the help. <3 Edit: Yup, tried different hours and still didn't see a little Petilil. I'll just hope I can find it in passing one day when I go by the area.

I don't know if you can get it mining or not /: But there's definitely one on Azurine Island hidden in one of the rocks.

What you can do is update to the most recent episode and buy some common candies at the candy shop in Obsidia Ward to lower their levels back down. Hopefully someone might know an answer to Petilil. <3

Hmm another question. x) I'm in Obsidia Park with Sunny weather during the day and I'm not seeing a Petilil. Is it in a different park or random? Or in the grasses? Although I thought I read that you'd be able to see it on screen.

Somebody said you needed clear weather. I know I found mine in clear weather this afternoon. It'll be in Peridot ward mostly, but once in Opal.

That would explain why I couldn't find it with my windy file save tonight. x) I wasn't sure of the difference between clear and cloudy. Plus I tend to get clear weather a lot <.< So would also explain why I always saw it. Good luck finding it.

Hmm just my Seismitoad with Poison Touch. If it makes a difference my weather is now windy since I wanted to catch a Murkrow, but I figure rain can't be apart of the encounter rate indoors. /:

I feel like I've gone everywhere in the factory /: I walked in the main entrance and wandered around to the different rooms and ect and haven't gotten a single encounter. Unless I'm failing and doing something/going somewhere wrong.

I need help finding Magnemite v.v I keep seeing members mentioning you can evolve it where you catch it when members ask about Magnezone and the Abandoned Factory, but when I explored (While it was raining, as I'm not sure if weather is a factor or not since I guess you could use a rare candy in there to get Magnezone) it I couldn't find any wild pokemon or Magnemite.

Hmm I'm not 100%, but I don't think so. I could be wrong, but it seems like everytime I pass that location I see it there the first time. Why I'm unsure is there might have been one time where I don't think I saw it, but it could have been the wrong place. /: I found it this afternoon and it was cloudy - (I think <.<) It's never in any buildings. I know the first time it was out in the openish. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help than a sorta sure it's not weather/time based.

You have to play hide and seek with it mostly in Peridot Ward. Make sure you've downloaded the most recent episode though, because in Episode 8 and before it was glitched after the second time of finding it.

I'm very torn and would love to get your advice on what to do. I played through the game up until Aya and of course am currently struggling with that play through. So I decided to move the file over and start a second playthrough to correct some of my mistakes I made in the first run. I started with Piplup, because one of my regrets was not picking a water starter simply because of the lack of good water types until deep in, but of course now I'm starting to second guess myself and thinking of doing a thirdd file save to pick turtwig. Which would kinda suck to catch up to where I am in the second run through which is near the point of saving the park. Basically my reasons: Piplup = Gets a Steel typing in the third evo which will help with Aya and also gain a tonnn of resistances Turtwig = Gains a ground typing/earthquake on third evo = Beast When I look at Obtainable pokemon list though I can't seem to find a good water type until the Island. At least one I would like, so a major con with Turtwig /: With Aya I've heard Magnezone and Gardevoir is where it's at which is definitely doable for me if I don't continue with Piplup. Which honestly I'll get both regardless of which route I'll pick. I don't know tho >.< What do you guys think?
