Skull rolled his eyes; great, so this guy wasn't going to be useful at all. //Just as you think, they're power suppression runes. Mostly for elemental, death, demonic, and shapeshifting magics. If you can alter one of the runes somehow, you should be able to break the entire chain and its hold on your powers. That, or you could possibly turn it into an entirely new spell that could potentially do more harm than good.// He mentally explained as he continued to work away at the rune he had picked out, his nail broken and his fingertips bleeding through the grime, leaving the crimson residue dripping down the wall where the vampire had been clawing fervently at for the past few hours.
Suddenly, the vampire paused and his ears perked up to catch the sound of footsteps. Quickly, Skull tried in vain to wipe his blood from the wall, only managing to smear it around. As the footsteps grew louder, Skull gave up on getting the blood off and wriggled over to sit in front of his labors, hiding the claw marks with his shoulders. He slipped his sore, bloody fingers back down into his straitjacket to make it look as though his hand was still constrained to his shoulder and waited for the orderly to pass. The vampire glared menacingly up at the human, a low growl rumbling in his throat as the scent of freshly spilled blood wafted from the man's flesh. "You smell delicious, mortal...Might I have a taste?" Skull chuckled in a low, demonic voice as he ran his forked tongue over his fangs, attempting to frighten the orderly into moving on quickly to the next 'patient'.
