  1. Hmm, I got Psychic. Was hoping for water, but psychic is my second favorite type.
  2. Thanks. Yeah, Keldeo and Xatu are major problems for this team. I may switch out Mence, because honestly she's the weakest link.
  3. @Hipster Lamp When I originally created the team I did have HP grass. Don't know why I switched it, but I did. Yuppers, same dude.
  4. At a Glance... ________________________________ Ok, so I used to be really into competitive, but I took a break for awhile. This team got me into the top 10 on several servers. Its been awhile since I've made it, so I don't remember what my goal was. All I know is it functions very well on the ladder. This isn't a hardcore sweeping team. Most of the KO's I get are with Sableye, Chansey, Heatran, and Slowbro. This is a stall team, and you'll be switching a lot if your using it correctly. So lets get going! Sableye (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Mischievous Heart EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Will-O-Wisp - Recover - Night Shade - Confuse Ray I chose Sableye as the lead because of its access Mischievous Heart and its bulk against most physical attackers. My main reason for a burn-spammer is sand teams. Back when I made this team, everyone, their brother and their dog was using a Ttar lead, and Sableye was the perfect solution. If the opposing lead is a physical attacker, its a given to use Will-O-Wisp(unless of course its a fire pokemon in which case I switch to Heatran). If not, I usually go with Confuse Ray and then switch out. Heatran (F) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Fire Blast - Earth Power - Dragon Pulse - Hidden Power [ice] Heatran was mainly put on this team to absorb Flare Blitz from Darmanitan, but of course its incredibly useful against any fire pokemon. Not much to it, just a normal Choice Scarfer. I only use it to absorb fire attacks and sometimes as a revenge killer. Chansey (F) @ Evolution Stone Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Softboiled - Aromatherapy - Seismic Toss - Thunder Wave Sableye and Chansey work amazingly well together, which is why they are both on this team. I know some people prefer Bilssy because of her access to Leftovers, but I chose Chansey for the Def/SpDef boost. I only bring out Chansey to wall a special attacker or to use Aromatherapy if one of my pokemon has been statused. If my opponent switches in a fighting type, I just switch to Sableye, or Slowbro if Sableye has been KO'd. If a Volcarona switches in at any time during the match, I throw Chansey in and Thunderwave. Also, since she carries thunderwave, there's always the possibility of ParaFusion with Sableye. Seismic Toss is so she isn't completely incapable of doing some damage. Salamence (F) @ Lum Berry Trait: Earthquake Spiral EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef) - Dragon Dance - Dragon Claw - Earthquake - Flamethrower I rarely use Salamence when I battle with this team because there's rarely a need to. If both Slowbro and Sableye have fallen, I will Switch Salamence in to absorb a fighting type move if it was aimed at Chansey. This is intended as a sweeper. Its not bulky at all, so generally you'll want to avoid switching into an attack. Usually I can get one DD in and then I sweep until Mence is KO'd or she gets walled by an opposing pokemon. Forretress (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Stealth Rock - Toxic Spikes - Rapid Spin - Protect Ok, so I freaken love this thing. Usually I switch Forretress in early-game to set up entry hazards. I would recommend using Stealth Rock before Toxic Spikes. If you can get Stealth Rock down and manage to get TS down, great. Usually I am able to SR and 2 layers of TS layed down, but I don't always get them in at one shot. Sometimes I have to switch Forretress in several times to get all of the hazards set up. If your opponent has a pokemon capable of setting up hazards, do your best to keep this thing alive. When I use this team, I am constantly switching, so entry damage can be devastating. Protect is to PP stall and buy some Leftovers recovery. Slowbro (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Regeneration EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Calm Mind - Slack Off - Boil Over - Flamethrower On this team, Slowbro is mainly for tanking water, psychic, and fighting type attacks, and she's fantastic at it. Most physical attackers have a hard time leaving a decent dent in this thing. Usually they switch out, which gives me a free turn to Calm Mind(or slack off if necessary). As long as all of its counters have been handled, its not hard to get all 6 calm minds in and begin a sweep. Flamethrower might seem like a bizarre option, but it's a must if you want to be able to deal with Ferrothorn. Without FT, Slowbro is completely helpless and must switch out. So there it is. xP Enjoy.
