Because the trainer I was fighting had two Pokemon and is located in north Virma City and I think the Pokemon before Mudbray used growl, which did trigger defiant. But that error is not something that can crash the game right? Because otherwise I would use one of the masks for Ogerpon so it gets sturdy and that error won't happen again. Also I am very happy that I can use Ogerpon. Fell in love with it during the Scarlet and Violet dlc and kept it on my team despite it overlapping with my starter. (My Nickname for it is always the same: Onigiri. Also! I love Lanturn tower and how good the game looks now! Hats off to you!)

Well the problem is that the move it was trying to use got completely cancelled and only my Ogerpon ended up attacking. Mudbray did not go down immediately and when I attacked again the error did not show up, so one of Mubrays moves at level 9 just did not work and it seemingly did not try using it again the next turn. The error showed up before either of the Pokemon had attacked and since I went first the second turn I guess Ogerpon was faster. Ogerpons ability has been activating normally in other battles, which is defiant since I am not using a mask. And I have not touched Debug mode, because I don't have the urge to use it.

I was using horn leech. My move went through but the oppenents move didn't. Stamina activated normally afterwards.
