for the future: 1. maybe check encounter tables on the wiki, bulbasaur doesnt spawn at night so that might have been the issue. 2. use the Magnetic Lure, even low percent encounters like Bulbasaur are guaranteed to spawn if you catch everything else in the area. (catching everything is used for a sidequest anyway, so its not like wasted time)

i think you can only fish on Route 4 in the mountain-part, which is accessible after badge 16. You can just fish for a Slowpoke in Chrysolia Sping using a Super Rod.

That is also a password in base game, you should check those out.

three small points I'd add to that: -there is a way to obtain a 6IV Ditto in a legitimate way (very very late tho), some people might be handing those out, not all of them have to be debugged. -when trying to get your 6IV pokemon, building yourself up from Pokemon that have a Baby-Evolution (like Pichu for example) is a great idea, because those have guaranteed 3 perfect IVs. -the everstone being held does not make it more likely to inherit the ability, but instead makes it guaranteed to pass on the nature of the parent holding the item

what do you mean? both children have 5 IVs passed down from the parents, the destiny knot makes it that the children inherit 5 IVs from either parent
