Snivy's evolution line, I love the sassy royal snakes. Contrary's also fun to mess around with. In Reborn, my first playthrough I went with Fennekin and my second I went with Chespin, both of them ended up as valued members of the team. I have a bit of a soft spot for them now, too.

please no more fire fighting, save litten I don't mind having fire/grass/water starters, but I think it would be interesting if they broke the tradition. Maybe with another trio of types that are super effective against each other, like rock/flying/fighting or ground/poison/grass. You'd still have a place to start for people new to the series learning the type chart, but also be doing something new for the people who have seen 'em all. The three stage evolutions help to keep them balanced throughout the game, plus there's some nice symbolism there about growing up (keeping in mind that the canon games are directed at a younger audience), so that's something I would personally keep. Since they're supposed to be unique, I wouldn't make them available in the wild. It is a bit of a big deal which one you pick, after all, especially if your rival(s) get the other starter(s). I would make it so that you can get the other starters through a post-game sidequest, though, for dex completion (or if you want to play around with them during the post-game). I think they should stay with you throughout the entire game, but that's more of personal preference than anything else. Make them strong enough so that they don't punish sentimental players (like me) who would prefer to keep them, but I wouldn't leave the player screwed if they don't use one, either, for people who would prefer more freedom with building their team.

Yeah, there's no way that scientist invented the EXP Share and the insta-healing thingamabob. Five bucks says he's in on the scheme. Also, damn, avatar Roxanne was brutal. Normal Gem Onix was basically a free kill, but I'm impressed the AI was clever enough to switch into Lileep. That's going to make things interesting. And, you know, painful, the two aren't mutually exclusive.

(I just learned the hard way how to mess up formatting on a post, whoops, hope nobody saw that) The short version is, my interest in medical research was born because I wanted to leave a legacy that could help as many people as possible. Time will tell if I'll be able to break into the field, but I'm going to give it my best. (I'll save the long version for another day, because it's a bit personal and the mysterious guidebook that showed up at my front door says that newcomers are supposed to keep some secrets.) And- I've made two posts and already my allegiances are being tested. Is this some sort of rite of passage? Who am I supposed to trust? I mean, I sunburn so easily that I'm pretty sure one of my ancestors spent half of their life flipping off the sun. Have I finally found my people? (Dramatics aside, you guys seem pretty great, thanks for the warm welcome.) Also, as a matter of purely hypothetical interest, will I require any sort of sacrifice when I praise our Lord and Savior Amethyst?

Greetings! I'm going by MirrorTrick, but you guys can call me Mirror or Pizza or Turquoise or whatever you can dream up, I don't mind. Let your imagination run wild. Some basic things about me: I'm from Canada, I was born on October 6th, my favorite color is a reddish-pink and I have a lot of interest in space. I mostly listen to rock music. It wasn't my first Pokemon game, but I have a lot of fond memories for Pokemon Black and Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky still owns my soul. Pokemon-wise, I've been competitive battling on-and-off for a while. When I do give it a shot, I have the most fun playing with PU teams and trying to pick out the best of the worst. I'm far from an expert, but I've enjoyed myself when I've dabbled in it in the past. I've gotten into archery lately, and I plan on taking snowboarding lessons this Winter. My ideal job would be to get into medical research. Most of my favorite Pokemon are fire, ice or dragon types, and... I feel like I should add more, but I'll spare you guys from the rest of my ramblings. This introduction has been rewritten way too much already, so I'm going to go ahead and post it.
