0 Simon Posted June 7, 2015 Share Posted June 7, 2015 Unfortunately, it can't get on Gengar as it was only available as that from an event. Anyways, the only possible ways to get Sludge Bomb onto Gengar would be either to wait for the TM for it to come out or go to a older episode which has Gen V Breeding Mechanics so you can pass down TM Moves, in this case being Sludge Bomb. I've been using Sludge Wave on Gengar since forever in competitive.Because an Event Gengar was released with it. Thus making Sludge Wave Gengar eligible in competitive. You can't teach Gastly-family Sludge Wave through the TM, you'll have to breed something within its breeding group with Sludge Bomb, if you want Sludge Bomb on a Gengar.
