Is the save files and the game files separate? Shit I don't think I have a backup of that. I only have a backup of the game download files. So am I screwed?

So I reinstalled my windows because my laptop was constantly crashing and lagging 24/7. I copied the game and my save into my external hard-disk before doing so. After I reinstalled my laptop everything else is doing fine but when I opened my Reborn game, there was no previous save files. The only option was to start a new one. Any methods to get the save files back? I kinda spent a lot of time on the game and I don't think I have to mood to grind through the whole game again. Please help me.

Hey I added the third category. And yeah, Cain is a pretty likable character Woah, I didn't expect anyone to like Blake. Yeah Cal is a really likable character and one of the few male characters to have character development. The only other male characters I can think of that have changed are Fern and Taka. I don't there there are other male characters that have much development, correct me if I'm wrong.

So many characters, who are your favourites and why? For me it's Titania and Taka. Titania's personally is so messed up and fun to watch. She gave a whole speech to Taka telling him to face his own issues while she couldn't face her own problems (Amaria). Tbh I really liked what happened to the two of them in the Reshiram route. Taka's just a good husband guy. I don't think anybody can not like this guy. Kinda curious what will happen to him in the Zekrom route, although I still think that he's gonna die. Edit: I added a third category, to include the other characters that do not fit in the first two categories. I would choose Cain in the third category. To be fair, I don't really like any of those characters except Cain and Gossip Gardevoir. Cain > Gardevoir because he had more interactions with the player and most of them are quite fun and interesting to watch. Edit 2: Wait why can't I vote in the new category?

@walpurgis If we picked the Reshiram route, I don't think there's any chance for Amaria to redeem herself. She might end up committing suicide again. It's probably up to Julia to keep her sane, now that Titania's gone.

So, we had a lot of antagonists in the game so far. Which characters do you think will (or will not) have a redemption? So my thoughts on all the antagonists so far: ZEL - Maybe, most likely no. ZEL already lost Lumi and Eve. If Taka dies too then I think there might be a chance that he resigns since him and Taka are pretty close. Taka - Yes. His death in the Reshiram route is a kind of redemption imo, not sure about the Zekrom route though I personally think that Taka is destined to die no matter what. Sirius - Hell no. He's like a warlord thirsty for victory. Most of the time these warlords don't have a good ending. Solaris - Yes. I think that Lin's death will have something to do with Solaris. Lin - No. Cal - He already had his redemption. Aster & Eclipse - I don't see Aster resigning from Team Meteor but I think he'll continue helping the player secretly. Terra - No. I don't think we'll see her again. Dr. Sigmund - No. He's creepy. Blake - Yes? Taka's death should have an impact on Blake because Blake took care of Taka when he was younger. Fern - Yes. Despite nobody liking Fern, I have a feeling that Fern will die pretty dramatically and unexpectedly. El - Yes. He's loyal to Solaris and if Solaris has a redemption, so will El. Bennett - No. Screw Bennett no one likes him. So yeahhh, I would like to know other people's thoughts on character redemption too.

So Tara died in Tanzan Cove with a few other Meteor grunts. After you have access to dive, you can dive down Tanzan Cove and find 5 bodies. 4 of them have nametags but the remaining one doesn't. I think that's Tara's body. Is there anyway to get her nametag and know her full name?

I remember early in the game, you battle Fern in the Onyx Trainer's School and he has a Lombre, Servine and Roselia. But I saw a video on Youtube recently and now he has a Sandile, Roselia and Dartrix. So... does every trainer now has a new updated team?
