Though I don't see how getting ice water poured all over you is so bad, sometimes my water's that cold during early morning showers before school... Plus it's freakin' warm here in the Philippines so I'd love to have ice water sloshed over me

It's all meant to be voluntary. You don't have to do it, and if someone tries to pressure you into it, you don't put up with the dick.

That said, don't hate away on the idea. There are plenty of people who both donate and do the ice bucket challenge out of their own goodwill, not because they felt obliged.
